Testování zemních směrových ochran pomocí experimentálně získaných poruchových záznamů / Testing of Directional Earth Fault Protections Using The Experimentally Obtained Fault Records

Master thesis Testing of Directional Earth Fault Protections Using the Experimentally Obtained Fault Records deals with the protective functions of earth fault protections during earth faults in compensated medium voltage distribution network and their testing options. At the beginning of the thesis we charakterize operation of medium voltage distribution system in general. We begin with definition and characteristics of earth fault and its compartmentalization by the type of the fault, size of the transition resistance and duration. We also mention grounding methods of node winding transformer on medium voltage distribution network and we describe the most common of them in detail, i.e. network grouded through the arc suppression coil and its operation with automatic switching auxiliary resistor. In this part of the thesis we discuss the localization of the earth fault using passive static methods in compensated systems, which include wattmetric, admittance and conductance method. In next section we deal with the fault records stored in COMTRADE file format, its structure and all elements of its configuration and data file. We create and describe an example of converting ADF file format, recorded by Yokogawa oscilloscope fault recorder, into COMTRADE file format using Microsoft Excel program and M-File created in the MATLAB program. In the practical part we introduce workspace devices and software, which includes secondary testing equipment OMICRON CMC 256plus and its software OMICRON Test Universe with Advance Transplay test module, we further describe multifunctional earth fault protection RYo from PROTECTION & CONSULTING, s. r. o. and machine terminal REM 543 from ABB and their protective functions. The last part describes the actual testing of parallel connected earth fault protection with COMTRADE fault records by Advance Transplay test module in the OMICRON Test Universe. In the conclusion we describe evaluation of the suitability of each protective functions of earth fault protection in a variety of sizes the transition resistance at the earth fault location.

Beitrag zur Analyse von Disklinationsstrukturen in plastisch verformten Metallen

Gegenstand der Arbeit ist die Analyse der bei hohen Verformungsgraden in Werkstoffen durch kollektive Bewegung der Versetzungen entstandenen neuen Defektkonfigurationen, die auf der mesoskopischen Skala agieren. Diese so genannte Disklinationen rufen neben starken Gitterdehnungen auch erhebliche lokale Gitterrotationen hervor. Es wurde der Nachweis der Existenz der Disklinationen in plastisch verformten Kristallen geliefert sowie die qualitative und quantitative Analyse der Disklinationskonfigurationen und der Disklinationsstärke durchgeführt. Die Untersuchungen an stark verformten Ein- und Vielkristallen wurden mittels sowohl lokalen Methoden der Transmissions- (TEM, CBED) und Rasterelektronenmikroskopie (REM, EBSD) als auch der integralen Methoden der Röntgenstrukturanalyse (XRD) durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse haben gezeigt, dass die Entwicklung der Zellblockstruktur mit erheblichem Anstieg der Desorientierungen und Versetzungsdichten in Versetzungswänden verbunden ist und durch die Bildung der Netzwerke von Disklinationen gefördert wird.

Untersuchungen zum mechanischen und thermischen Verhalten sowie zur hygrothermischen Alterung von Jute/Polypropylen (PP) Verbunden. Einfluss des PP-Typs, der Modifizierung der Matrix mit Maleinsäureanhydrid gepfropftem PP und des Faservolumengehalts.Untersuchung der Grenzschicht in Jute/Epoxidharz Verbunden in Hinblick auf die mechanischen Eigenschaften nach Alkalibehandlung und Oberflächenmodifikation der Jutefasern. Jutefasern haben gute spezifische mechanische Eigenschaften. Die Einzelfasereigenschaften unterliegen der bei Naturfasern üblichen Streuung der mechanischen Eigenschaften. Im Gegensatz zu konventionellen Verstärkungsfasern (Glas, Carbon) nimmt wachstumsbedingt mit zunehmendem Faserquerschnitt die Festigkeit tendenziell zu. Faseroberflächenbehandlungen verbessern die Benetzbarkeit, erhöhen die thermische Stabilität und reduzieren die Feuchteaufnahme sowie den Diffusionskoeffizient. Jute/Polypropylen-Verbunde Chemische und physikalische Wechselwirkungen zwischen Faser und MAHgPP nach optimierter Kopplerauswahl verbessern in Abhängigkeit vom PP-Typ die Grenzflächenscherfestigkeit und die mechanischen Eigenschaften. Durch Einbeziehen der Grenzflächeneigenschaften können mit einer modifizierten Mischungsregel die Zugfestigkeiten der Verbunde beschrieben werden. Jute/Epoxidharz-Verbunde Faseroberflächenbehandlungen mit Natronlauge, Organosilanen, Epoxiddispersionen und deren Kombinationen führen zu verbesserter Benetzung, reduzierter Wasseraufnahme und verbesserter Haftung sowie verbesserten mechanischen Eigenschaften in Jute/Epoxidharz-Verbunden.

Verhalten funktionalisierter Nanopartikel an Grenzschichten mit Polymerbürsten

Die vorliegende Arbeit liefert einen Beitrag zum Verständnis der komplexen Wechselwirkungen zwischen Nanopartikeln und Polymeren in dünnen Schichtsystemen. Dazu wurden in einem geeignetem Modellsystem drei verschiedene Einflussparameter auf die Nanopartikelverteilung im Polymer und zwischen einer hydrophilen und einer hydrophoben Grenzfläche analysiert. Für eine erste Abschätzung der Verträglichkeit der einzelnen Komponenten wurden Wechselwirkungsparameter, binäre und ternäre Phasendiagramme ermittelt. Die experimentelle Charakterisierung der Nanopartikelverteilung erfolgte mittels Rasterkraftmikroskopie, Rasterelektronenmikroskopie und Transmissionselektronenmikroskopie. Die erhaltenen Ergebnisse wurden mit denen der theoretischen Vorbetrachtungen verglichen um herauszufinden, ob Vorhersagen zur Nanopartikelverteilung in einem Polymer möglich sind. In dieser Arbeit konnte gezeigt werden, dass die Nanopartikelverteilung im Polymer mit den untersuchten Parametern gezielt beeinflusst werden kann.

Beschleunigte Alterung von Glasfasern in alkalischen Lösungen: Einflüsse auf die mechanischen Eigenschaften

In alkalischen Lösungen führt die Reaktion von Hydroxylionen mit den Si-O-Si-Bindungen des Glasnetzwerks zur Bildung hydratisierter Oberflächen und gelöstem Silikat. Der Grad der Korrosion bzw. der Alterung der Glasfaser ist abhängig von der chemischen Zusammensetzung des Glases und Korrosionslösung sowie von Zeit und Temperatur. Die Untersuchung von Glasfasern verschiedener chemischer Zusammensetzung in NaOH- sowie Zementlösungen zeigte, dass die inhibierende Wirkung von Ca-Ionen zu einem veränderten Korrosionsmechanismus führt. Dies konnte anhand der mechanischen Eigenschaften der Glasfasern sowie rasterelektronenmikroskopischen Untersuchungen gezeigt werden. Während die Korrosion in NaOH-Lösung zu einer ausgeprägten Umwandlung der gesamten äußeren Glasfaserschicht in Reaktionsprodukte führte, zeigten Glasfasern in Zementlösung bei gleichem pH-Wert einen stark lokal begrenzten, punktförmigen Angriff. Daraus resultieren unterschiedliche mechanische Eigenschaften der Glasfasern in Abhängigkeit von der gewählten Korrosionslösung.

The embodied mind in sleep and dreaming : a theoretical framework and an empirical study of sleep, dreams and memory in meditators and controls

Les théories récentes de la conscience incarnée (embodiment) soulignent que l'esprit est un processus incarné, impliquant le cerveau, le corps et l'environnement. Plusieurs aspects de la cognition, de l’interaction sensorimotrice avec l’environnement à la pensée abstraite et métaphorique, ont été conceptualisés dans ce paradigme. Le sommeil et le rêve, cependant, ont rarement été abordés par des chercheurs dans le domaine de la conscience incarnée. Cette dissertation vise à montrer, en s’appuyant sur la phénoménologie, la philosophie énactive et des sciences cognitives du sommeil et des rêves, que le rêve est un processus incarné de formation de sens dans le monde onirique. Ce travail comporte trois objectifs principaux : 1) de démontrer que le rêve est incarné; 2) de clarifier les liens entre les expériences corporelles et la formation onirique; et 3) de préciser si la sensibilité corporelle accrue, en tant qu’une compétence entraînable, mène à des changements globaux dans la façon dont l'information est traitée en sommeil. Le premier objectif est une proposition inédite dans la science des rêves. Dans ce travail, j’analyse les études théoriques et empiriques sur le sujet afin de motiver la notion de l’incarnation corporelle du rêve. Je propose un cadre théorique et pratique pour la recherche en neurophénoménologie du sommeil (article I). Je montre que les rêves sont incarnés à plusieurs niveaux. Tout d'abord, de nombreux rêves contiennent des représentations du corps ou du mouvement corporel. Deuxièmement, les rêves sont vécus d’un à la première personne et ont une qualité spatiale. Troisièmement, les rêves sont structurés par l'émotion et l'affect, et sont ainsi enracinés dans le corps. Enfin, le corps du rêveur et le corps onirique ne sont pas indépendants l'un de l'autre : leur perméabilité est illustrée par les rêves intensifiés, les parasomnies (article II) et les études sur l'intégration des stimuli somato-sensoriels dans le contenu des rêves. Le deuxième objectif est d'étudier des exemples concrets dans lesquels les sensations somatiques, ou des altérations dans la perception habituelle du corps, affectent le contenu des rêves. Je procède par une revue de littérature sur l’état actuel des connaissances empiriques sur la paralysie du sommeil, en tant qu’un phénomène illustratif de l'altération dans l'expérience corporelle en sommeil (article II). Je conclus que les expériences corporelles dans le cadre de la paralysie du sommeil (pression sur la poitrine, sensations inhabituelles, et autres) nous informent sur la manière dont le sens altéré du corps modifie la perception de l'environnement, affecte les qualités de la relation intersubjective avec le monde, et illumine les caractéristiques subjectives fondamentales du sens de l'espace. En outre, les résultats de notre étude empirique démontrent que la stimulation somatosensorielle de la cheville en Stade 1 du sommeil et en sommeil paradoxal produit une variété de changements dans le contenu des rêves. Le troisième objectif était de tester si la formation contemplative, qui augmente la conscience corporelle, produit des changements dans l’apprentissage procédural, dans l'architecture du sommeil, dans la consolidation de la mémoire dépendante du sommeil et dans le contenu des rêves. Nous avons démontré (article III) que les méditants Vipassana et les sujets témoins avaient des patrons distincts de consolidation de la mémoire en sommeil : l'amélioration d'une tâche d’apprentissage procédural était associée à la densité des fuseaux du sommeil chez les méditants, tandis que les participants témoins avaient une relation forte entre l’amélioration de la tâche et durée du sommeil paradoxal. En outre, nous avons constaté une fréquence réduite des fuseaux du sommeil chez les méditants, ce qui suggère que la pratique de la méditation centrée sur le corps peut avoir un effet à long terme sur l’organisation et la fonction du sommeil. Dans l'ensemble, les résultats de cette enquête permettent de conclure que le rêve est un processus incarné de formation du sens, texturé par des souvenirs et des émotions, et que le rêveur n'est pas déconnecté de leur corps ou du monde extérieur. En outre, l’entrainement à la conscience corporelle peut produire des changements globaux dans l'architecture du sommeil et dans les processus cognitifs du sommeil, y compris les rêves et la consolidation de la mémoire. Ces résultats ont des implications théoriques et pratiques pour la recherche sur les fonctions du sommeil, des rêves et le rôle du corps dans l'expérience subjective. / Recent theories of cognition have stressed that the mind is an embodied process, one involving brain, body, and environment. Many aspects of cognition, from waking sensorimotor coping with the world to other aspects of the mind, such as metaphor and abstract thought, have been explicated under this framework. Sleep and dreaming, however, have only rarely been approached by embodied mind theorists. In this dissertation, I draw on work in phenomenology, enactivism, and the cognitive science of sleep and dreaming, I aim to show that dreaming is an embodied process of sense-making in the dream world. This work has three main goals: 1) to argue that the dreaming mind is embodied; 2) to clarify the links between bodily experiences and oneiric mentation; and 3) to test whether increased bodily awareness as a trainable skill contributes to global changes in the way that the mind treats information in sleep. The first goal is a novel proposal in dream science. In this work, I review evidence for embodied dreaming and propose a theoretical and practical framework for neurophenomenological research (Article I). I propose that dreams are embodied in a number of different ways. First, many dreams contain representations of body or bodily movement. Second, dreams are experienced from a first-person point of view, and have a spatial quality. Third, dreams are structured by emotion and affect, and thus are rooted in the body. Finally, sleeping and dreaming bodies are not independent of each other; their permeability is exemplified by intensified dreams, parasomnias (Article II), and studies of somatosensory stimuli incorporation into dream content. The second goal is to investigate some of the concrete ways in which somatic sensations or alterations in habitual perception of the physical body affect dream content. I review the current state of knowledge on sleep paralysis as an illustration of sleep-dependent alteration in bodily experience (Article II), and conclude that bodily experiences in sleep paralysis (pressure on chest, unusual sensations, and others) provide information about the myriad ways an altered sense of the body changes one’s perception of the environment, affects qualities of one’s intersubjective relationship with the world, and provides insight into the fundamental subjective features of the sense of space. Additionally, results of our empirical study show that somatosensory ankle stimulation at sleep onset and during REM sleep produces a variety of changes in dream content. The third goal is to study whether contemplative training, which has been shown to increase bodily self-awareness, produces changes in procedural learning, sleep architecture, sleep-dependent memory consolidation and dream content. We showed (Article III) that Vipassana meditators and controls had distinct patterns of sleep-dependent memory consolidation: improvement on a procedural learning task was associated with sleep spindle density in meditators, while control participants had a strong relationship between improvement on the task and REM sleep duration. Additionally, we found a reduced sleep spindle frequency in meditators, suggesting that body-based meditation practice may have long-term effects on sleep organisation and function. Overall, the results of this inquiry point to the conclusion that dreaming is an embodied process of sense-making, textured by memories and affect, and that the dreamer is not disconnected from their body or the outside world. Furthermore, training in bodily awareness may produce global changes in sleep architecture and sleep cognition, including dreaming and memory consolidation. These results have theoretical and practical implications for research on functions of sleep, dreams and the role of the body in subjective experience.

[pt] Imagens óticas são frequentemente afetadas pela presença de nuvens. Com o objetivo de reduzir esses efeitos, diferentes técnicas de reconstrução foram propostas nos últimos anos. Uma alternativa comum é explorar dados de sensores ativos, como Radar de Abertura Sintética (SAR), dado que são pouco dependentes das condições atmosféricas e da iluminação solar. Por outro lado, as imagens SAR são mais difíceis de interpretar do que as imagens óticas, exigindo um tratamento específico. Recentemente, as Redes Adversárias Generativas Condicionais (cGANs - Conditional Generative Adversarial Networks) têm sido amplamente utilizadas para aprender funções de mapeamento que relaciona dados de diferentes domínios. Este trabalho, propõe um método baseado em cGANSs para sintetizar dados óticos a partir de dados de outras fontes, incluindo dados de múltiplos sensores, dados multitemporais e dados em múltiplas resoluções. A hipótese desse trabalho é que a qualidade das imagens geradas se beneficia do número de dados utilizados como variáveis condicionantes para a cGAN. A solução proposta foi avaliada em duas bases de dados. Foram utilizadas como variáveis condicionantes dados corregistrados SAR, de uma ou duas datas produzidos pelo sensor Sentinel 1, e dados óticos de sensores da série Sentinel 2 e LANDSAT, respectivamente. Os resultados coletados dos experimentos demonstraram que a solução proposta é capaz de sintetizar dados óticos realistas. A qualidade das imagens sintetizadas foi medida de duas formas: primeiramente, com base na acurácia da classificação das imagens geradas e, em segundo lugar, medindo-se a similaridade espectral das imagens sintetizadas com imagens de referência. Os experimentos confirmaram a hipótese de que o método proposto tende a produzir melhores resultados à medida que se exploram mais variáveis condicionantes para a cGAN. / [en] Optical images from Earth Observation are often affected by the presence of clouds. In order to reduce these effects, different reconstruction techniques have been proposed in recent years. A common alternative is to explore data from active sensors, such as Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), as they are nearly independent on atmospheric conditions and solar lighting. On the other hand, SAR images are more difficult to interpret than optical images, requiring specific treatment. Recently, conditional Generative Adversarial Networks (cGANs) have been widely used to learn mapping functions that relate data of different domains. This work proposes a method based on cGANs to synthesize optical data from data of other sources: data of multiple sensors, multitemporal data and data at multiple resolutions. The working hypothesis is that the quality of the generated images benefits from the number of data used as conditioning variables for cGAN. The proposed solution was evaluated in two databases. As conditioning data we used co-registered data from SAR at one or two dates produced by the Sentinel 1 sensor, and optical images produced by the Sentinel 2 and LANDSAT satellite series, respectively. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed solution is able to synthesize realistic optical data. The quality of the synthesized images was measured in two ways: firstly, based on the classification accuracy of the generated images and, secondly, on the spectral similarity of the synthesized images with reference images. The experiments confirmed the hypothesis that the proposed method tends to produce better results as we explore more conditioning data for the cGANs.

Implementation av portabla REM-identifierande sensorer : Undersökning kring lämpliga, icke-påträngande metoder för REM-igenkänning

Trötthet i trafiken är ett stort problem i samhället. Det är särskilt farligt att trött framföra tunga lastbilar i trafiken eftersom dessa fordon är stora och har ofta livsavgörande roller vid inblandning i trafikolyckor. För att angripa problemet har det i denna rapport studerats kring vilket sömnstadie som är lämpligast att vakna under, i syfte att vakna pigg och alert samt vilka typer av tekniker och metoder som är lämpliga för att portabelt kunna detektera Rapid-Eye-Movement. Tidigare arbeten och studier har gjorts som påvisar att uppväckning i REM-sömn är optimalt för att känna sig alert. De valda metoderna är baserade på varianter av väletablerade tekniker som används för identifiering av sömnsteg. Elektrookulografi används för att mäta ögonrörelser med hjälp av fyra elektroder som är placerade på huvudet. Kroppsrörelser upptäcks genom en accelerometer som fästs på armen. Pulsmätningar görs och används för att räkna ut pulsvariansen under sömnen. Målet är att skapa en prototyp som ska känna av när användaren är i REM-sömn och sedan väcka användaren. Detta arbete är uppdelat i två inbyggda system som görs mellan två olika examensarbeten. Resultatet blev tre sensorer som fungerar individuellt. På grund av tidsbrist och en längre felsökning blev prototypen inte färdigställd. Innan sensorerna kan tillämpas i en produkt krävs det att ytterligare tester genomförs under monitorering av en sömnspecialist. / Tiredness in traffic is a major problem in society. It is especially dangerous to drive heavy trucks when tired because these vehicles are large and often have vital roles when involved in traffic accidents. To address the problem, this degree project has studied which sleep stage is most appropriate to wake up during, in order to wake up sharp and alert, and what types of techniques and methods are suitable for portable detection of Rapid-Eye-Movement. Previous work and studies have been done which indicates that awakening during REM sleep is optimal for feeling alert. The chosen methods are based on variants of well-established techniques that are used to identify sleep stages. Electrooculography is used to measure eye movements using four electrodes placed on the head. Body movements are detected by an accelerometer attached to the arm. Pulse measurements are made and used to calculate the pulse variation during sleep. The goal is to create a prototype which will know when the user is in REM sleep and then wake the user up. This work is divided into two embedded systems that are made between two different degree projects. The result was three sensors that worked individually. Due to lack of time and a longer troubleshooting, the prototype was not completed. Before the sensors can be used in a product, additional tests are required under the supervision of a sleep specialist.

<p>Традиционално, државина је посматрана као чињеница (possessio non iuris est, sed facti). Један део правне доктрине сматра да је државина право. Мада има одговарајућа правна дејства и ужива правну заштиту, државина није и не може бити право. Веома често се државина и право на државину поклапaју, и правни субјект може имати право на државину (ius possidendi) засновано на неком субјективном праву, али државина може настати не само као вршење правне власти, већ и без ње, па и супротно таквом овлашћењу. Државина може да постоји независно од права на ствар, односно, независно од тога да ли се у конкретном случају правна и фактичка власт на некој ствари подударају или супротстављају.<br />Предмет истраживања и рада на докторској дисертацији &bdquo;Правна дејства државине у савременом праву&ldquo;, представља анализу појма, правне природе, субјеката и објеката државине, врста и квалитета државине, стицања, преноса и престанка државине. Овако детаљно сагледавање института државине доприноси разумевању најзначајних правних дејстава које државина производи.<br />Циљ истраживања представља критичку анализу позитивног права и прилагођавање регулативе изазовима савременог доба.<br />Од врста и квалитета државине зависи која ће правна дејства правни поредак везивати уз одговарајућу државину. Субјективна и објективна својства државине детерминишу њен квалитет. Државина са свим позитивним елементима је квалификована државина. То је државина која је истовремено законита, права и савесна. Правна дејства државине настају онда када је државина стечена и у односу на онога ко ју је стекао.<br />Функције државине које се остварују кроз правна дејства су: функција публицитета, функција континуитета и заштитна функција.<br />Правна дејства државине која произлазе из публицитетне функције су: државина је начин стицања стварних права на покретним стварима, државина ствара претпоставку о постојању права својине на ствари, државина ствара могућност стицања својине од невласника, држалац је одговоран за штету која потиче од ствари која се налази у његовој државини.<br />Правна дејства државине која произлазе из континуитетне функције су: заштита државине од одузимања или сметања, повољнији положај држаоца код кога се ствар налази у поступку по публицијанској тужби, положај држаоца приликом враћања ствари у петиторном спору за предају ствари, могућност да државина која је имала одређене квалитете и трајала законом одређено време, путем одржаја, прерасте у право својине.<br />У закључним разматрањима докторске дисертације сублимирају се резултати истраживања, недостаци позитивноправних решења и дају предлози de lege ferenda.</p> / <p>Tradicionalno, državina je posmatrana kao činjenica (possessio non iuris est, sed facti). Jedan deo pravne doktrine smatra da je državina pravo. Mada ima odgovarajuća pravna dejstva i uživa pravnu zaštitu, državina nije i ne može biti pravo. Veoma često se državina i pravo na državinu poklapaju, i pravni subjekt može imati pravo na državinu (ius possidendi) zasnovano na nekom subjektivnom pravu, ali državina može nastati ne samo kao vršenje pravne vlasti, već i bez nje, pa i suprotno takvom ovlašćenju. Državina može da postoji nezavisno od prava na stvar, odnosno, nezavisno od toga da li se u konkretnom slučaju pravna i faktička vlast na nekoj stvari podudaraju ili suprotstavljaju.<br />Predmet istraživanja i rada na doktorskoj disertaciji &bdquo;Pravna dejstva državine u savremenom pravu&ldquo;, predstavlja analizu pojma, pravne prirode, subjekata i objekata državine, vrsta i kvaliteta državine, sticanja, prenosa i prestanka državine. Ovako detaljno sagledavanje instituta državine doprinosi razumevanju najznačajnih pravnih dejstava koje državina proizvodi.<br />Cilj istraživanja predstavlja kritičku analizu pozitivnog prava i prilagođavanje regulative izazovima savremenog doba.<br />Od vrsta i kvaliteta državine zavisi koja će pravna dejstva pravni poredak vezivati uz odgovarajuću državinu. Subjektivna i objektivna svojstva državine determinišu njen kvalitet. Državina sa svim pozitivnim elementima je kvalifikovana državina. To je državina koja je istovremeno zakonita, prava i savesna. Pravna dejstva državine nastaju onda kada je državina stečena i u odnosu na onoga ko ju je stekao.<br />Funkcije državine koje se ostvaruju kroz pravna dejstva su: funkcija publiciteta, funkcija kontinuiteta i zaštitna funkcija.<br />Pravna dejstva državine koja proizlaze iz publicitetne funkcije su: državina je način sticanja stvarnih prava na pokretnim stvarima, državina stvara pretpostavku o postojanju prava svojine na stvari, državina stvara mogućnost sticanja svojine od nevlasnika, držalac je odgovoran za štetu koja potiče od stvari koja se nalazi u njegovoj državini.<br />Pravna dejstva državine koja proizlaze iz kontinuitetne funkcije su: zaštita državine od oduzimanja ili smetanja, povoljniji položaj držaoca kod koga se stvar nalazi u postupku po publicijanskoj tužbi, položaj držaoca prilikom vraćanja stvari u petitornom sporu za predaju stvari, mogućnost da državina koja je imala određene kvalitete i trajala zakonom određeno vreme, putem održaja, preraste u pravo svojine.<br />U zaključnim razmatranjima doktorske disertacije sublimiraju se rezultati istraživanja, nedostaci pozitivnopravnih rešenja i daju predlozi de lege ferenda.</p> / <p>Traditionally, possession has been viewed as a matter of facts (possession not iuris est, sed facti). A part of legal doctrine regards possession as a right. Although possession causes certain legal effects and enjoys protection of the law, possession is not and may not be regarded as a right. Very often factual possession and right to possession overlap and a person may hold a right to possession (ius possidendi) based on some personal right, however possession may be created not only as a result of lawful exercise of one&rsquo;s rights, but also without, or contrary to, exercise of such rights. Possession may exist independently of property rights, that is, regardless of whether legal and factual control over a thing overlap or are at odds.<br />The subject of this research and work on doctoral thesis titled &ldquo;The Legal Effects of Possession in Contemporary Law&rdquo; is analysis of the meaning and legal nature of possession; persons holding possession and things that may be subject to possession; types and varieties of possession; acquiring, transfer, and loss of possession. Such detailed overview of possession contributes to better understanding of the most significant legal effects caused by possession over a thing.<br />The aim of the research is to provide a critical analysis of the law and to examine how the regulations have been modified to meet the challenges of modern time.<br />Depending on the type and form of possession, the legal framework provides for different legal effects to possession over a thing. Personal and objective features determine the quality of possession. Possession, with all the positive elements, constitutes qualified possession. The qualified possession is a possession that is legal and lawful. Legal effects of possession are created at the moment the possession is acquired and they are created towards a person that acquired it.<br />The following elements of possession are created through its legal effects: element of publicity, element of continuity, and protective element.<br />Legal effects of possession associated with the element of publicity are the following: possession is a modus of acquiring property rights over movable objects; possession creates presumption about an existence of property rights over a thing; possession creates possibility of acquiring property rights from a person that does not hold any property rights to a thing; person having corporal possession over a thing is liable for damages arising out of the thing that he holds in his possession.<br />Legal effects of possession associated with the element of continuity are the following: protection of possession from dispossession or infringement of possession; more favorable possession of the holder of a thing in proceedings initiated by Publiciana in rem action; position of the holder at the time of recovery of the thing in proceedings for actions initiated for recovery of possession; it is possible for possession that had certain qualities and that lasted for a period of time set by the law, through adverse possession, to transfigure into a property right.<br />The results, shortcomings of the legislative framework and suggestions de lege ferenda, are summarized in the conclusion of the doctoral thesis.</p>

Thesis deals with environmental scanning electron microscopy and with detection of signal electrons by using ionization detector. First part talks about the principle of environmental scanning electron microscope. Second part describes signals generated by interaction of primary electron beam with sample. Third section explains the principle of impact ionization and ionization detector. Experimental part deals with usage of segmental ionization detector and with measuring of signal amplification from copper and platinum. Thesis also examines arrangement of electrodes of ionisation detector on material contrast and examines also on influence of voltage contrast on base - emitter junction of an NPN bipolar transistor. All experiments were carried out in dependency on saturated water vapour pressure in sample chamber.
