The main goal of this work is to apply the Liapunov-Schmidt Reduction technique in the study of the Hopf Bifurcation. First of all we discuss the Liapunov-Schmidt Reduction in finite dimensional spaces and after that in Banach spaces of infinite many dimensions. The conclusion of this work is the proof of the Hopf Theorem using the Liapunov-Schmidt Reduction.

To obtain our main results we use variational methods, such as Montain Pass Theorem and Linking Theorem. Moreover, we use the Liapunov-Schmidt reduction.
