Στόχος της εργασίας αυτής είναι αφενός μεν η διερεύνηση των νοητικών παραστάσεων των μαθητών 14-15 ετων σε σχέση με τη διάθλαση του φωτός, αφετέρου η διδακτική παρέμβαση σε ένα δείγμα 213 μαθητών διαφόρων σχολείων με τέσσερις διαφορετικές στρατηγικές. Τα αποτελέσματα έδειξαν ότι η χρήση των προσομοιώσεων σχεδιασμένων με το λογισμικό ανοικτού τύπου Interactive Physics συνέβαλλε ουσιαστικά στο μετασχηματισμό των αρχικών νοητικών παραστάσων των μαθητών και βελτίωσε ποσοτικά αλλά και ποιοτικά την επίδοση των μαθητών στο γνωστικό αντικείμενο. / This work is the inverstigation of mental representations of 14-15 secondary educatinal students in relation to the refraction of light and the teaching in a samle of 213 students with four different strategies.The results showed that the use of simulations designed with the open source software Interactive Physics significantly contributed to the trasformation of the initial mental representations of students and improved quantitatively and qualitatively the progress of students in the subject .

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a system for measuring infrared spectra from local areas of samples. The theoretical part describes the electromagnetic waves and related phenomena. Furthermore, the semiconductor junction and solar cells are discussed. The following is a basic description of line spectrometers. In the practical part, a suitable arrangement of the whole system, collimator design, and especially the core of the whole work, ie control software and signal processing, are proposed.
