Neste estudo objetivou-se a aplica??o das redes neurais artificiais utilizando o algoritmo ELM em problemas de estimativa da altura ?rvores de Pinus, e tamb?m, em problema de estimativa do volume de madeira dos componentes, fuste e galhos, de ?rvores do Cerrado, de maneira consistente. Na estimativa da altura de ?rvores de Pinus as redes neurais artificiais apresentaram bons resultados em compara??o com m?todos estat?sticos j? utilizados para este fim. Como j? era esperado, a m?quina de aprendizagem extrema se mostrou mais eficiente, do ponto de vista do custo computacional, no treinamento das RNAs em rela??o ao algoritmo back-propagation, mantendo a efic?cia do m?todo. Na aplica??o das RNAs ao problema de estimativa do volume dos componentes de ?rvores do Cerrado foi poss?vel verificar que as redes neurais artificiais podem estimar o volume dos componentes (fuste e galhos) destas ?rvores. N?o foi poss?vel identificar qual ? o melhor m?todo para se estimar o volume de fuste e de galhos de ?rvores do Cerrado de maneira consistente, tendo em vista que, as RNAs presentaram resultados semelhantes aos modelos de regress?o estudados. / Disserta??o (Mestrado) ? Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Ci?ncia Florestal, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2013. / ABSTRACT The use of the learning algorithm for artificial neural networks (ANN) feedforward, named extreme learning machine (ELM), allows the training can be done with better performance than using the traditional methods of learning based on gradient descent both in terms of generalization as learning speed. This study analyzes the application of artificial neural networks using the ELM algorithm in problems such as estimate of the height of pine trees, and also in the problem of estimating the volume of wood components, stem and twigs of trees in the Cerrado, consistently. In estimating the height of trees of Pinus artificial neural networks have shown good results in comparison with statistical methods already used for this purpose. As already expected, the extreme learning machine is more e?cient from the point of view of computational costs, in the training of ANNs, in relation to the back-propagation algorithm, keeping the e?cacy of the method. In the application of ANNs to the problem of estimating the volume of the components of the Cerrado trees it was verified that artificial neural networks can estimate the volume of components (stem and twigs) of these trees. It was not possible to identify which is the best method to estimate the volume of stem and twigs of trees of the Cerrado consistently, considering that the ANNs were similar to those studied regression models.

The changes in the compulsory liabilities on time deposits and demand deposits, changes in the capital requirement and changes in the Tax on Financial Transactions (IOF) and Industrialized Products Tax (IPI) rates will be studied. In the empirical part, a multiple regression will be estimated to identify the main determinants of vehicle credit for individuals in Brazil. A review will be made of the literature on the trajectory of banking regulation from Basel I to Basel III, as well as the Micro and Macroprudential regulation. / O objetivo central do trabalho, ?? analisar os efeitos das pol??ticas macroprudenciais, adotadas pelo Brasil ap??s a crise de 2008, sobre a concess??o de cr??dito para financiamento de ve??culos para pessoas f??sicas. Ser??o estudadas as altera????es nas exigibilidades de compuls??rio sobre dep??sitos a prazo e ?? vista, mudan??a na exig??ncia de capital e altera????es nas al??quotas do Imposto sobre Opera????es Financeiras (IOF) e Imposto sobre Produtos Industrializados (IPI). Na parte emp??rica, ser?? estimada uma regress??o m??ltipla para identificar os principais determinantes da concess??o de cr??dito ve??culo para pessoas f??sicas no Brasil. Ser?? feita uma revis??o da literatura sobre trajet??ria da regula????o banc??ria de Basileia I a Basileia III, bem como da regula????o Micro e Macroprudencial.
