<p>Abstract </p><p>Uppsatsen syftar dels till att undersöka om den feministiska kritik som riktats mot genren chick lit i fråga om genusstereotypa karaktärer har sin motsvarighet i romanerna, och dels till att undersöka med vilken rimlighet någon kan påstå att chick lit-romaner också är utvecklingsromaner. Studier av övergripande och vetenskapliga texter rörande populärkultur samt feminism, ligger till grund för de resonemang som förs och aktualiseras då de ställs i relation till nedslag i primärmaterialet vilket närlästs. </p><p>Genom närläsning och analys konstateras chick lit med hjälp av Kristin Järvstads avhandling Att utvecklas till kvinna (1996) i vissa fall och avseenden fungera som en populärlitterär variant av utvecklingsromanen. Hjältinnorna i chick lit-romanerna genomgår en kort, inre utveckling, vilken till viss del följer den manliga utvecklingsromanens struktur, trots att den substantiellt anses kvinnlig. Vidare konstateras hjältinnan i chick lit till stor del vara fast i genusstereotypa konstruktioner vilka ur ett feministiskt perspektiv är oacceptabla, samtidigt som feministiska tendenser i form av självförverkligande och kritik av genussystemet står att finna. Sammantaget tillåts genren därmed representera konceptet ”feminism light” genom sin hjältinna.</p>

<p>Abstract:</p><p>The purpose of this study is to get increased knowledge of how teachers motivate and teach youth about existential questions at junior highchool. My issue for this composition is to find out how – and how much – teachers in fact teach about existential questions in the religious education.</p><p>I interviewed four teachers at junior highschool, with various experiences. One teacher had about thirty years of experience in teaching, and one teacher was quite young and unexperienced.</p><p>The result indicates that the youth were interested in a lot of existential questions. The study also indicates the teachers view of youth’s identity-work and their existential questions.</p><p>The resultat is compared with studies of Dahlin, Hartman and Sjödin.</p>

<p>The essay is about the concept of text in a wider perspective, what can be included in that, how it can be used and above all, why one might want to use it. The essay will also include what the term popular culture implies, and school’s attitude towards it, since some of the medias that are a part of the text in a wider perspective, many times fits the description “popular culture”. Most of the earlier research show that the positive aspects of the use of text in a wider perspective as the same time as it attacks school because school is opposing the popular culture.       The essay consists of two parts and it begins with a theoretical part where I present existing research about the concept of text in a wider perspective and the research about popular culture. After that, there is an empirical part where I show my results from interviewing five active teachers that teach Swedish in senior high school, and their thoughts about the concept of text in a wider perspective. The result does not agree with the earlier research about how school does not appreciate popular culture, which I will show in the essay. All the teachers agreed though, that the concept of text in a wider perspective was something that one should use while teaching.</p>

Syfte Syftet med denna uppsats var att genomföra en kvalitativ undersökning kring om KDE kan ersätta Windows XP som användargränssnitt för normalanvändare på en persondator. Vi ville även ta fram de fördelar och nackdelar som KDE har i jämförelse med Windows XP, med eventuella förslag till förbättring. Metod Primärdata hämtades genom att testa operativsystemet på 25 personer som fick "tänka högt". Detta för att få en anblick om var det kan finnas problem. Även sekundärdata i form av litteratur inom området, tidskrifter, artiklar, rapporter och information från Internet har använts. Slutsats Resultatet visade klart och tydligt att testpersonerna var nöjda med Linux KDE efter det att de testat det men majoriteten skulle ej kunna tänka sig ersätta Windows XP med Linux KDE. Alltså är inte Linux KDE en möjlig ersättare till Windows XP.
