The main goal of this Diploma´s Thesis is to make a model for calculation of water and sewer rates for the company Vodovody a kanalizace Náchod, a.s. when sticking to the set criteria both from the side of VaK Náchod, a.s. and law regulations. Based on the theoretical part an analysis of customer sensitivity to the price changes using the data for last 20 years follows. Findings from the first two parts are used in risk analysis in next part. The created model calculates the water and sewer rates based on the information from the company accounting system in the way to generate sufficient financial resources to fulfill the renovation plan of infrastructural property plant and equipment and to transfer given amount to the company funds. In addition, the model monitors whether the legal condition of maximal allowable increase of profit per m3 is met. In the customer sensitivity to the price changes part the price elasticity of demand for water and sewer rates is calculated based on the data from 1995 to 2015. The assumption of inelastic demand is confirmed. Risk analysis part is deals with potential risk regarding the demand and prices. Potential impacts for the most significant risk are quantified. The analysis uses knowledge gained in the first two parts. It was confirmed that potential risks are exiting but do not have any significant impact on the going concern of VaK Náchod, a.s. The created model has been already used for the calculation of prices for the year 2017. Customer sensitivity analysis to the price changes and link to the potential risks is an additional information for VaK Náchod, a.s. which validates that nowadays, there are no significant threats which could affect the demand and water and sewer rates significantly.

This diploma thesis deals with the marketing mix of Ing. Jozef Nedělník s.r.o. Based on the knowledge of the current state of the company is created a new design of the marketing mix with new opportunities and being found prosperity of the company which will make the company more prosperous.

The thesis is concerned with the design of a flood protection for the Brantice municipality, a part of which is an adjustment of the Opava river stream bed, specifically kilometer 77,6554 to 78,7020 and, moreover, a design of a reconstruction of the weir at kilometer 78,340. A capacity assessment of the original stream bed in the built-up area and its surroundings is a part of the thesis, as well as a measure to increase the stream capacity and a design of a boulder chute with a water gate, which replaced the original weir. The program HEC-RAS 4.1.0. was used for the stream capacity calculations.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to solve vehicle traffic safety and technical conditions on road I/43, research specific dangerous parts, subsequent evaluationandprocessing of individualpoint defects. It´s a 10km long section between Milonice and Krhov, approximately25km north from Brno. In total I found 4 defect points, which should be solved before realization of new motorway project R/43, which will replace existing I/43. The first defect point is in close proximity of Milonice village, there is an inconvenient intersection of I/43 with III/31775. There is a huge traffic intensity on road I/43 and an absence of turning lane on the left side. Second defect point is in village Závist, where is unsuitable connection from MK to I/43 and behind village is big longitudinalinclination, which is not suitable for slow vehicles. Third defect point is concerning the area between Závist and Černá Hora villages. There are unsuitable directional, high-altitude solutions, longitudinal inclinations and a crosswise arranged road. The last defect point is the horizon on road I/43 near village Krhov, this part of the road is the most dangerous section. On the horizon is an unsuitably planned project with a combination of directional, high-altitude solutions and transverse arrangement of roads with non-standard finishes ascending road lanes. I tried to solved defect points in the best possible way and to depict suggested action.

The thesis is focused on the assessment of two wooden roof structures of the building, which is located in Brno on the street Rumiště 8. Parts of the work are also theoretical knowledge of roof structures, building technical survey and diagnostic methods. Rating roof truss was based on a survey of sensory and instrumental methods. In the first step were measured dimensions of roof truss members and were determined roof structures. In the next section was researched damage of elements and his causes. Rehabilitation solution was established for each type of damage to the components resist any attack as long as possible. This report had been prepared for the property owner who plans complete reconstruction.

The diploma thesis deals with the passport of family houses and its creation. The first part describes the building condition survey from a theoretical point of view, its advantages, purposes and sorting, possible owners and so its legislative background. Thereafter it describes in detail the procedure of making the passport and applies the procedure on a particular family house in Brno. Medium passport of the family house focuses on describing the structural and technical condition. It also describes the current faults, errors and methods whose reveals them. Subsequently, the proposals for solution of these adjustments follows together with the resolution of emergency in specific cases.

The influence of the thermal insulation of a family house in the village of Újezd u Rosic and the expenses related with the operation of this property. Brief characteristics of the task and its challenges: The task will be to work on a proposal to insulate the chosen property. Based on this proposal, then evaluate the difference in cost for the operation of the property before and after insulation. The work will also evaluate the economic return on the investments made.

The final thesis is focused on restoration masonry building. Concretely assessment of resistance joist's floors, design alternative's strengthening and impact of surcharge on pronounces constructions. The choice one of alternatives strengthening, design and check of floor structure over the second floor.

This dissertation deals with The Society for the Renovation of Lidice in years 1945-1960 and shows its place in a wider history context. After introduction part the relationship between The Society and village Lidice is defined, but in this case it is very important to make a difference between old and new, post-war Lidice. Both of them were represented in a poetry, which is brought to attention then. The main part of dissertation, which results in the first place from the archive materials and post-war press, deals with problematic interrelationships between The Society and offices of a state administration and with a specification of a main purpose of The Society, which was a granting new homes for Lidice and Ležáky returned citizens. Then it is explained an influence of the Communist Party and its ideology on The Society and Lidice and it newly takes base on description of local basic organizations of the Communist Party and National Front and on an analyse of ideologically important topics. A final reflection deals with a place of new Lidice in a collective memory. Childbirth as a natural part of life, where the woman giving birth has prime position and the option of choice. She should feel free and accepted - to be able to give birth physiologically (without unnecessary external interference). Physiological childbirth as the best for a woman, a baby and their relationship. Up to 80 % of women do not need a doctor to give birth, but only a "suitable environment". In my diploma thesis I propose a "maternity house". This concept is well-known abroad, in our country it is a new type of care. For this purpose, I use two existing houses, which are owned by the city of Blansko and stand next to the hospital.
