This thesis deals with the assessment of safety of an industrial complex. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter deals with basic information referring to an industrial complex and dangerous chemicals substances. The second chapter is devoted to the description of selective methods of CPR 18E. The third chapter is to identify risk sources of a serious accident in the industrial complex. The fourth chapter contains a general description of the HAZOP method. The last part represents a detailed analysis of risk sources of the serious accident by means of the HAZOP method and proposals for preventive measures.

This thesis deals with the safety of an enginery, namely with container shears of Žďas company in Žďár nad Sázavou. Initial familiarization with the machine was followed by the proposition of a relevant block diagram and the definition of the usage limits, in aim to analyse the risks related to the use of such an enginery

This subject of this thesis is the risk analysis of selected accidents. The aim is to analyze risk based on typical accidents, which are the main causes of chemical substances leakage . The practical part includes an estimation of the hazard zones and their impact on each substance, in case of leakage.

This master thesis deals with problems of determining operational and safety risks at gas boiler room in office building with total output of 4×49 kW. The gas boiler room is equipped with four boilers Geminox THRi 10-50. The aim of this master thesis is to determine the potential operational and safety risks of gas boiler room. The master thesis is divided into several parts, when the first part is describing the current situation with some theoretical knowledge and risk analysis. This part also outlines possible solutions for identification and quantification of risks to the gas boiler room. The specific risk factors are determined at other part of master thesis and there is also their analysis, which is solved by cause and effect diagram and by Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. The specific precautions are suggested for chosen risks in final part of master thesis.

The first part of the thesis contains the problem situation and deals with the general characteristics of risk, dividing of the risks, basic methods for determining risks and possible measures for its reduction. The second part of the thesis deals with analysis of risks in the company of using strategic analysis and qualitative risk analysis. These analyzes are the basis for determining the measures and recommendations to reduce identified risks.

The diploma thesis titled Risk Management Proposal for a Selected Business Entity deals with the risk management of the company Zemědělské družstvo Radiměř. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical part introducing basic terms and methods of risk analysis and risk management on both, general and specialization, levels, and practical part describing the most important risks of the company identified by the selected risk analysis. Based on the gained data and results preventive and corrective measures for elimination of the risks are given.
