Diploma thesis is focused on project management in ČKD Blansko Holding, a. s. company. The author uses the analysis of project execution process to recommend a suitable risk management methodology. The proposed methodology is partially illustrated on selected project. Through project risk analysis treatment measures for identified risks are discovered. Thesis also describes basic principles and concepts related to project and risk management.

The master thesis deals with the information system. It contains an analysis of the current state of the system and there are used methods of risk analysis. Based on these analyzes and methods it is developed design of information system for company, which deals with the processing of biological waste. To obtain further information, the questionnaire survey will be addressed to the experts from the Czech Republic as a supportive material of the diploma thesis. This dissertation deals with the risks which are connected with selecting the suitable suppliers of computer components for the Weps s. r. o. company. The selection of the supplier is realized by the use of fuzzy logic. Theoretical bases are also described in this dissertation. Moreover, there is an analysis of the risks and a proposal for the solution to this problem in the Microsoft Excel and Matlab programmes. The result of the dissertation should provide an instrument for objective evaluation of the suppliers, which is the company in collaboration with.

The Diploma thesis deals with process improvements in project management in Alstom Power s.r.o.. The thesis is divided into three basic parts - theoretical, analytical and proposal part. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the analytical methods for examining the business environment, which will afterwards be used to analyse the current state of a company's position in the second part, analytical part, of this work. In the analytical part are identified the same errors during the project implementation. In the last part of the own proposals are presented measures that could eliminate errors.
