The diploma thesis titled "Foster care" is dedicated to the foster care in the Czech republic. Its main objective is to explore the benefits of legislative changes to the functioning of foster care. The work also provides view of alternative forms of family education and types of foster care. In the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the history of foster care, its forms, modes of mediation, both for applicants and in children. Furthermore, is the financing of foster care and foster's rights and obligations that are newly included within the framework of foster care. Finally, the work also addresses the difficulties that foster care entails, and which should be equated foster even before the adoption of a child in foster care. There is the thesis research among foster families focusing among other things on the evaluation of changes in foster care from their perspective in the practical part.

Psychologická zátěž rodinných pečujících o seniory s demencí a její aspekty v rodinném systému / Psychological burden of family caregivers of seniors with dementia and its aspects in the family system

Taking care of seniors with dementia in the home environment can prove itself difficult not only for the individuals burdened with the main caretaking, but it is also challenging for their close family relationships. There is usually some way of sharing the care in the families, where more family members are put into a caregiver's position. Based on the semistructured interviews with the family caregivers this paper describes the alterations of the family relationships and the forms of support between the family members, as well as the common conflicts and rejections. The issue is being described from the point of view of the caregivers with a direct, actual and long-time experience in the home caregiving. Also the data of the interviews has been shortly compared to the information retrieved from the anxiety, depression and burden inquiries, all collected among the respondents. This diploma thesis focuses on the psychological aspects of drawings of preschool children from complete and incomplete families. In the theoretical part the child's drawing is described as one of the basic manifestations of the semiotic function and it emphasized its importance in the process of cognitive maturation. Drawing is also taken into consideration as a projective diagnostic method. In the research part we interpret drawings by children of different ages in the preschool period with an emphasis on cognitive maturity of the individual and family relations with consideration to the projective function of drawings. The results may lead to a better understanding of children's perception thanks to the interpretation of various drawings.

Komunikace rodiny a školy na 1. stupni základní školy v současnosti / Communication between a family and a school directed to the contemporary elementary schools

The aim of this work is to determine whether communication with incomplete/"uncooperative" family is from the perspective of teachers more difficult. What problems may be in communication with the family of the student, how can they be prevented, where necessary, to deal with. In the second part to find out what kind of impact it has on the mutual communication of the teacher and the legal representative the pupil evaluation in the form of the word guest. The task is to suggest possible strategies for mutual communication with parents of children at 1. level of primary school. In the solution a questionnaire survey and interviews with teachers and parents was used. Carried out research, I discovered that at the aimed school is almost 100% of teachers meets with problem/"non-cooperating" parents. Verbal evaluation of the results of an investigation has the mainly positive influence to the comunication. At the same time, motivates the student to better outcomes. On the basis of the findings of the results, teachers can further improve the relations between family and school, or more involved verbal evaluation, which improves communication between the two parties. The main result is to obtain the symbol "The parents welcome".

This thesis investigates the knowledge and opinions of school children at second stage of Primary School on healthy eating, exercise and lifestyle. It further explores what factors influence students to take care of their lifestyles and whether there are differences in their opinions on healthy lifestyle influenced by gender, family or school they attend. The task of the work also determines whether the students of two selected primary schools in Slaný have a different opinion on the above mentioned physical activity, health, nutrition, physical education and sport. This thesis as well explains the students' motivation resulting in healthy lifestyle and discusses why are students entertained by physical education and sport as well as why they are not. The thesis aims to find out the general public's views on raising children within the family, and to compare it with selected psychological research. The theoretical part is a review of several studies over recent years dealing with a child's upbringing in a family, selected so as to reflect the views of the general public, specifically parents, and responds to these themes from a professional point of view. The empirical part attempts to explore the values, attitudes, and opinions of parents on key educational situations, using a questionnaire method. The thesis investigates current trends among parents' child-rearing methods within the Czech Republic, and compares them with the current findings of modern psychological research on education in the family.

Vztah dítě s ADHD a jeho rodiny ke škole / Relationship of a child with ADHD and his family to school

The thesis deals with the relationship of the child suffering from the ADHD and the child's family to the school. The objective was to find out what is the most important to the parents and the children and what influences the relationship and attitude of the child and the child's family to school. The theoretical part describes in which way the ADHD symptoms in the child influence relationship situations of all parties involved. It points out to potential problematic situations, lack of understanding in communication and potential risks for occurrence of conflicts. The crucial part of the thesis is a qualitative research survey carried out in the form of interviews with children and their parents. Its results show that mutual communication of the family and the school is very important as prevention from a lot of negative experience on both sides. The most frequent problems the child and the family cope with include non-functional communication with the teacher, bad relationship of the child with the teacher, insufficient cooperation and lack of understanding on both sides, which often escalates to changing schools. The first part deals with family from the perspective of Catholic Church, I describe on this place some fundamental documents. The second part presents the interviews with my respondents and theirs view of this issue. Furthermore, I try to throughout my work on the comparison of different perspectives on the family and the crisis. And last but not least I use the research and facts that will help me to create a view on this without a significant problem.
