This thesis deals with issues of upbringing children by their grandparents. It focuses on the fact, how the grandparents handle the upbringining of underage children. The theoretical part is divided into six main chapters. This part includes topics such as family, upbringing and the issue of foster care. The practical part deals with the research itself, as the main research method was chosen to interview and documents analysis. The interview was made with ten grandparents, who have underage child in their custody. The interview was focused on the financial security of families, cooperation with school, the possible educational problems of children at school or at home. Finally, there was made the evaluation based on available data.

Relevant aspects for determining the amout of maintenance obligations of parents to children Abstract In my paper I engaged myself with a topic of maitenance towards to adolescent children, in the meaning of how these payments are set and what is needed to be considered by during the process of admiting the maitenance. Paper itself is extended by expert publications, texts and opinions of profesional, taken during their long practises in jurisdiction. First chapters of my paper are concieved as therotecial introductions to the issue. In introduction you can find brief informations about the headwords wiedly used in the matter of maitenance and explaining the basics, like how and when the maitenance is admited. The main topic of the thesis is an attitude of present-day young generation towards contemporary marital and parentage education. The thesis is aimed at opinions and attitudes of students of high schools in the area of marriage and parentage. Common features are family education, interpersonal relationships and mainly partnership relationships. The theoretical part of the thesis defines basic terms that deal with problems of contemporary family, marriage, parentage and partnership. The main aim of the analytical part of the thesis is processing of questionnaires answered in high schools in the East Bohemia region in order to ascertain opinions and attitudes of students on the topic. An outcome of the thesis is an evaluation of attitudes of students in the area of family education, main importance of marriage and transition to parentage responsibilities. The Family as an Externality within a Market Economy: Evidence from the Czech Republic The dissertation thesis deals with an issue of fertility decline in developed countries from a perspective of relationship between the family and the market economy. The family is perceived as an externality with respect to theoretical economic framework as well as to real economy of the Czech Republic in the period of economic transition. In other words, neither theory nor applied policy fully reflects contribution of the family for the whole society. The thesis goes into the family specification from distinct standpoints, its development within time, relationship to economy and briefly introduces economic approaches to the family at both micro and macro level. In addition, the thesis carries out analyses of Czech data in the period 1989-2010. While the macro analysis is focused on interaction between fertility and economy performance, the micro analysis is devoted to financial support provided by state to the family via the social scheme and the tax system. The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the issue of a child interrogation as a crime victim. The reason for my research is the fact that despite of all the Criminal Procedure amendments the methodology of systematic child interrogation and its real usage is still not properly defined. The thesis is composed of four chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of sexual abuse of the child's interrogation. Chapter One is introductory and the chapter is subdivided into four parts. Part One and Part Two contain a short historical excursion define sexual abuse terminology and its forms. Part Three deals with Child Abuse and Neglect Syndrome and its five categories. Part Four is concerned with an occurrence of the Sexual abuse phenomenon in the Czech Republic, latency and status of educational institutions. Chapter Two examines relevant Czech legislation and European Union. First and second part characterise a statutory offence in Penal Code. Part Three and Four explain international agreements and European intervention issues. The last part contains the comparison of Czech and French child protection system with a short evaluation. This thesis,named Family from the children's point of view, is based on qualitative research. This research was realized at Art School (Classof Fine Arts). Communication partners of this research were pupils (boys and girls) between six and fifteen years.The research was based on specific method of data collection. Pupils were drawing pictures showing their ideas. These pictures were interpreted using interiews with their authors. Teoretical part of the thesis deals with family and its specific functions. Gender and gender roles are also discussed in the first part. Methodological part of the thesis describes the research, its specifics and its hinterland. The third part deals with the results of the research. Results across the historical periods are described in the last part of the thesis.The results show some tendencies and stereotypes in the children's perception of historical family forms. The research also reveals some children's inspiration sources, such as fairy tales or movies. Children's pictures (from the research) are added to the thesis. My diploma thesis is focused on a qualitative research on relationship between personal and work life and the life strategies of successful women with children. The objective of this paper is to find out what is the actual life stage and the ideal stage of the women's life they strive to achieve. There will be a particular focus taken on a context of their professional career and the space that has been created between their family and personal live. Therefore, it will be about their identity strategies and how do they practice it in combination of both of their life spheres. The research is conducted by narrative- biographical interviews that are completed by a Life axis method that works well as a guide for managing the interviews, the topics of the main interest of women in particular. This work focuses on family relationships of people, who went through a psychotic episode. The main question is: How the relationships with relatives help to cope with life with mental disease, not only psychotic episode itself, but especially the period after fading the symtoms away? It is looking for an answer in the interviews with people with mental disease, focusing on their relationships before and after breaking out of the illness. It came out the relationships in the primar family are helpful in this new life situation of the respondents, not the partner relationships, as was expected. The first analysis focused on the main developmental phases in lives of the respondents. It was followed by the analysis of interpersonal relationships. Finally, based on the studied literature, there were established the categories of possible reactions of family members to the respondents'disease. These categories were looked for in the interviews.
