Emprego da madeira do gênero Pinus na construção de estruturas de cobertura / Using Pinus timber in construction roof structures

Pinheiro, Roberto Vasconcelos 12 November 1996 (has links)
The reduction and shortage of natives forests in south and south-east regions in Brasil happened specially because their continuous and incontrolled exploration. This fact and the governamental incentives provided large areas of planted forest. So, several Pinus species were taken as alternatives source for obtaining wooden structural pieces previously classified and preserved against biological attack. This work aims to demonstrate the technical viability of using Pinus timber in trussed roof structures. As final conclusion of the work, comparative tables related to wood comsuption per unit covered area and the joints comsuption are presented. The utilization of Pinus lumber in civil construction, demonstrated its technical and viability, will constitute an expressive alternative, taking in account the implantation, the exploration of these planted forest. So, it will keep equilibrated the wood deal that, in addition to the short distance related to the consumer centers, will conduct to a accessible final cost. At last, the full utilization of the planted forest permits desinable reduction of the extensive exploration of the brazilian native forests.

[en] APPLICATION AND TEACHING OF APPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE COLLECTIVE CONSTRUCTION OF ROOF STRUCTURES MADE OF TIED BAMBOOS AND RAW EARTH / [pt] APLICAÇÃO E ENSINO DE TECNOLOGIAS APROPRIADAS PARA A CONSTRUÇÃO COLETIVA DE ESTRUTURAS DE COBERTURA FEITAS DE BAMBUS AMARRADOS E TERRA CRUA

DANIEL MALAGUTI CAMPOS 19 January 2015 (has links)
[en] The present work, unfolding of the research developed between 2007 and 2009, reported in the master dissertation entitled Design of bamboo frame structures generated from minimal surfaces, has as main objective the implementation of models of roof structures developed by LILD (Laboratory Research in Free Design) on a scale and real context for community use. It happens by teaching simple and low environmental impact techniques in processes of collective construction using local materials and labor. Through the development of drawings, reduced physical models and collective constructive practice itself, we can get a dynamic exchange of knowledge between teachers and learners in which knowledge flows multidirectional way, feeds itself. The knowledge gained is evident in two phases: in the development of structures in the laboratory, it expands the repertoire of structural units of the LILD, and building them outside the walls of the university, because they bring real results both on the knowledge exchanged between those involved as the action of the physical and social environment on them.

Sandwichbauteile mit gefalteten und gekrümmten Betondeckschichten

Stark, Alexander, Hegger, Josef 21 July 2022 (has links)
Einleitung] / In current building practice, standard load-bearing elements are mostly of rectangular shape. Exceptions are large shell structures, such as cupolas of domes or cooling towers of power plants. In contrast, shells made of reinforced concrete (RC were widely applied for building construction in the last century. For this purpose, large structures were usually cast in situ. Additionally, long-span precast elements with limited width were produced. These folded plate or doubly curved elements were realised with a thickness of less than 10 cm and usually prestressed with steel tendons. Concerns regarding the corrosion resistance might have been a reason that such constructions are not build regularly today. [Off: Introduction]

Rekonstruktion av Ör kyrkas tidigmedeltida takkonstruktion / Reconstruction of Ör church early medieval roof structure

Lorentsson, Jimmy, Forssgren, David January 2022 (has links)
During an inventory of Ör church’s roof structure in 2021, it was discovered that the roofstructure above the church’s nave contains a large amount of reused structural parts froman earlier roof structure. The reused structural parts are most likely originated from Örchurch’s early medieval roof structure. This thesis is an attempt to reconstruct the early medieval roof structure with the use of3D-laser scanning. The goal is to present a possible shape and 3D-model of the earlymedieval roof structure. The existing roof structure will also be documented. One aim ofthe thesis is to develop and evaluate the method of using 3D-laser scanning for thispurpose. The reconstruction resulted in eight different shapes and 3D-models of the early medievalroof structure. The documentation of the existing roof structure above the nave resulted inupdated section, plan and detailed drawings. The method of using 3D-laser scanning gave a detailed point cloud of the existing roofstructure. The point cloud had low density points in certain parts of the roof structurewhich is a consequence from the implementation of the 3D laser scanning. For thismethod a field study and planning in advance is recommended for best possible result.

Průzkum a hodnocení stavu dřevěné konstrukce / Survey and evaluation state of timber structures

Zouharová, Kateřina January 2016 (has links)
The thesis is focused on the assessment of two wooden roof structures of the building, which is located in Brno on the street Rumiště 8. Parts of the work are also theoretical knowledge of roof structures, building technical survey and diagnostic methods. Rating roof truss was based on a survey of sensory and instrumental methods. In the first step were measured dimensions of roof truss members and were determined roof structures. In the next section was researched damage of elements and his causes. Rehabilitation solution was established for each type of damage to the components resist any attack as long as possible. This report had been prepared for the property owner who plans complete reconstruction.
