Druhé bydlení v oblasti středního toku Lužnice jako předstupeň amenitní migrace / Second homes in Lužnice river area as the first stage for amenity migration

ŠAŠKOVÁ, Dominika January 2016 (has links)
The presented diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon of the second homes in the area around the middle stream of the river Luznice. The trend of second homes is closely connected mainly to rural tourism. Currently the number of people living in the countryside is decreasing, this leads to increasing depopulation of the countryside. Development of rural tourism and second homes, which can be described as a precursor of amenity migration can alleviate the depopulation of the Czech countryside. Those two terms: second homes and amenity migration are very frequently overlapped in our conditions so it is difficult to determine the clear border between them. The second housing represents the way of spending the free time and so it can by stated as a complex phenomena and processes connected to a recreational object, most frequently represented by a cabin or a weekend house. Some users of second homes may decide to move into their second houses permanently. In this case we call this the amenity migration. This type of migration is the movement of people from an urban area in to rural areas. The amenity migration can be understood as a migration for better environment, peace, the desire to be closer to nature and the desire for a better quality of life in general.

Memorable experiences in rural tourism : Study of Rural areas from Cluj Napoca County, Romania

Luca, Claudia Atena January 2018 (has links)
With the shift nowadays towards an experience economy, the increased attention placed on memorable experiences and how to stage them can be viewed as a major trend which can act as a source of information regarding the stories that people share about themselves and their self-perceptions, as well as helping businesses make a step towards their guests. In this vein, rural tourism is highly consumed by people searching for these unique and memorable experiences, but the knowledge on tourists’ experiences in a rural setting are very limited. Therefore, this paper seeks to examine what memorable experiences tourists encounter in the rural setting, and more importantly, why were they memorable. In order to answer these questions, the researcher undertook a qualitative approach and in depth semi structured interviews were conducted with people who travelled in the Cluj Napoca County from Romania. The findings revealed an amalgam of experiences that people encounter in the rural setting, combined with various reasons why the experiences were considered memorable in the eyes of respondents. The main findings show how the optimal memorable tourism experience is usually comprised of several factors involving multiple experiential dimensions, and an important influence is represented by social interactions alongside positive emotions.

HAVLÍKOVÁ, Denisa January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the study of the impact of agro-tourism on employment in rural areas. At first deals with the description of tourism, its basic species and forms. However, the greatest attention is paid to agrotourism, its history, development, negatives and positives, its significance and possible types. The following chapters are aimed at defining rural areas, describing subsidies that help to develop rural areas and also describing the diversification and multifunctionality of agriculture. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis is characterized the issue of employment, unemployment, its causes and impacts. It also provides information on the multiplying effect and the impact of tourism and agro-tourism on employment. The analytical part of the thesis is focused on the contribution of agro-tourism to employment in rural areas. The data needed for this analysis was obtained by means of a questionnaire survey conducted in the South Bohemian Region in agro-tourism farms and in the municipality where the farms belong. The result is that agro-tourism farmers provide other people with jobs on their farms, and thus partly contribute to the employment of the municipality. However, the greatest impact on the number of jobs offered by farms has a season. Agrotourism farms and their activities contribute to the overall development of rural areas, to a greater or lesser extent. And at a certain level they are also involved in the employment of rural municipalities.

No. of bitstreams: 1 DissMCE.pdf: 563737 bytes, checksum: e296f231711e23c06f46bf020cc207e7 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2004-10-27 / The rural tourism arrived in Brazil in the middles of the decade of 1980, primarily for being a way to generate financial revenues complementary and supplementary, so necessary to help the weak financial situation of the rural production units, specially the small ones, deriving from many issues that limited the capacity of getting financial return from these properties. Until the middle of the 1990 s decade that activity stayed restricted to the south of the country, mainly the state of Santa Catarina, with a few of initiatives out of this region. The main question that originates this project is the establishment of a relation between the development of the rural tourism and the increasing of a higher sustainability of the units of rural production where the tourism is developed. That higher sustainability is a result of better environment achieved, the creation of jobs, besides the utilization of the new tools of management by the entrepreneurs, especially in planning. In spite of the countless differences between the rural production units, common traces were found between the companies and their managers, primarily the capacity of developing successful business based, in a general view, on the same premises. It emphasized the protection of the environment after the rural tourism started, checked by higher protection of the nascent (sources), ciliary forests, hills (mountains) and other formations, expansion of the natural cover vegetable area and the decreasing of negative impacts that could be deriving from the agriculture and cattle raising activities. In the economics dimension it is possible to examine with more clearness the benefits ot the activity, such as the extension of the UPR s revenues, the investments in infra structure and a big satisfaction with this activity, because of the increasing income and the minimizing of the problems faced during the typical seasonal period of the agriculture and cattle raising activity. Another verification was based on the extension of the management capacity of the entrepreneurs, making use of mechanisms such as projecting. On the social view, many positive aspects were verified, such as the rural culture, interchange with the visitors, as well as the involvement of the whole family in an activity that, before creating material resources, generates, on the exercise of hospitality, a great personal satisfaction, as well as an elevation on the self esteem and the pride. In this way, verifies that the implantation of the rural tourism, when well planned, makes the unity of rural production more sustainable, through developing better conditions related to the environment, promoting social inclusion, valorization of the local culture, generating extra revenues and new jobs. All these factors together convert to the real sustainability of the rural production unit, moreover helping to build sustainable communities.

Orci, Nara Beatriz Pereira 15 May 2009 (has links)
Submitted by Marcelo Teixeira (mvteixeira@ucs.br) on 2014-05-23T18:25:05Z No. of bitstreams: 1 Dissertacao Nara Beatriz Pereira Orci.pdf: 1337181 bytes, checksum: 78b4251483bbc9409692559c4586d947 (MD5) / Made available in DSpace on 2014-05-23T18:25:05Z (GMT). Thus, rural tourism is becoming an alternative to achieve sustainable development by reconciling the dichotomous relationship between environmental preservation and development. Thus this work proposes to present the relationship of preservation versus development, through rural tourism that could be implemented in the region studied by the present environment providing a rich diversity of the most beautiful landscapes in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

This research was on the rural tourist diagnosis using Geoprocessing in located Cardoso's highway in the municipal district of Beautiful View of the Paradise - PR.
