Izotopy olova a olovo 210 v recentních galenitech dolnoslezské pánve / Lead isotopes and 210 lead in recent galenas of the Lower Silesia basin

Čurda, Michal January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with the isotopic composition of lead and 210 lead in recent galena from burning heaps after coal mining in the Lower Silesian basin. The studied sites were heaps in Radvanice, Markoušovice and Rybníček, where samples of galena, coal and burnt rocks were available. For the determination of the isotopic composition was used mass spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma (ICP - MS). Mass 210 Pb activity in galena was measured in a gamma - spectrometer Silar and the effect of radioactivity on galena crystal lattice was determined by the modified Williamson - Hall graph which was made from taken X-ray diffraction data. The values of isotope ratios in galena ranged for 207 Pb/206 Pb = 0,8402 to 0,8435 and for 208 Pb/206 Pb = 2,0663 to 2,0836. The average values of the coal were measured for 207 Pb/206 Pb = 0,8312 and 208 Pb/206 Pb = 2,0421. On the basis of these isotope ratios was found out that during the burning of coal and subsequent galena crystallization from hot gases there is no isotopic fractionation. Mass 210 Pb activity in galena ranged from 135 ± 9 Bq/g to 714 ± 22 Bq/g. Radioactivity of galena causes the developement of micro-deformation in the crystal structure. This micro-deformation is demonstrated by increased micro-strain in the crystal lattice. The level of this...

Židovské instituce v Dolním Slezsku v 50. a 60. letech 20. století / The Jewish Institutions in Lower Silesia in the 1950's and 1960's

Kroupová, Anna January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with Jewish institutions in Lower Silesia during the period of 50's and 60's of the 20th century. The area of focus is the Socio-Cultural Association of Jews (Towarzystwo Spoleczno-Kulturalne Zydów), which was historically the only Jewish association in Poland that was allowed to exist. The main aim of this thesis is to track down and analyse relationship of the representatives of the group with the communist party and its ideology in detail, since the party was not particularly inclined towards Jewish culture due to Israel's affinity with the West. Furthermore, after the introduction and analysis of the main sources and literature, the thesis briefly introduces a topic related to the restoration of life within the Jewish community after the World War II. After that, it concentrates on the formation and development of institutions and it follows the way members were educated in the spirit of socialism as well as how the Jewish culture was formed. The fundamental sources necessary for the study of this problematic are primarily files that came into existence as a result of certain activities of institutions, such as meetings of their bodies, documents informing about social life (invitations to events), repatriation records of the USSR saved in Archive of The Jewish...

Problematika regionální identity obyvatel českého Těšínska a její reflexe v dokumentárním filmu Hranice po našimu / The issue of regional identity of the inhabitants of the Czech region Těšínsko and its reflection in the documentary Hranice po našimu

Myšáková, Kateřina January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of regional identity of the inhabitants of the Czech part of Teschen Silesia in connection with the documentary film Hranice po našimu. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the reaction of local inhabitants to this documentary and to trace how the topic of identity and local dialect was represented both in the discussion and the film itself. The reaction of the locals is analysed mainly using the internet discussion which developed on the Czech Television's official website after the broadcast of the film, as well as using available journalistic articles and official statements of Teschen institutions. The thesis also focuses on the inclination of some local inhabitants to create a regional form of identity which can replace the identification with cultures of the nation states. The thesis is based on the hypothesis that the creation of such regional identity is one of the possible escape strategies the locals might use to avoid a certain form of ethnic diction. This regional identity carries its own cultural elements, one of the most significant being the aforementioned local dialect which the thesis concentrates on.

Slezské řezané barokní sklo ve sbírce Uměleckoprůmyslového musea v Praze / Silesian Baroque Cut Glass in the collection of Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague

Bednářová, Tereza January 2012 (has links)
The Diploma thesis "Silesian Baroque Cut Glass in the collection of Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague" deals with the collection of Silesian Baroque cut glass at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague spanning from the last quarter of the 17th century to the third quarter of the 18th century. The thesis describes the technique of glass cutting and its history. It also deals with the beginnings of glass cutting in Silesia, which are associated with the Schaffgotsch family in the Hirschberger Valley. Worth mentioning is also the renowned glass cutter Friedrich Winter, who along with his glass workshop substantially influenced Silesian glass cutting in the following decades. The thesis also mentiones other well-known glass cutters, particularly Christian Gottfried Schneider. The chapters dealing with the development of the shape and ornament of Silesian Baroque cut glass are important for correct classification by periods and localities. A catalogue of selected objects from the collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague follows the first part of the thesis which comprises the text. Most of the catalogue's objects have not been published thus far or were often never presented in detail if they appeared in literature.

Československo-polské vztahy a Těšínské Slezsko 1918-1920 / Czechoslovak-Polish Relations and Cieszyn Silesia

Berousková, Karolína January 2014 (has links)
Czechoslovakia-Poland relations were immediately after their establishment influenced by the territorial dispute concerning the region of Teschen Silesia. The dispute lasted two years. What were the main causes of the conflict? Was the conflict caused by the mixed national composition on the territory of Teschen Silesia or by Czechoslovak and Polish political ambitions in Central and Eastern Europe? The study is based on the analysis of historical sources and scientific literature. It follows the formation of conflict lines and subsequent escalation of the conflict. Thesis is divided into two parts. First part represents internal dimension of the conflict, it focuses on the historical connection of Teschen Silesia and describes it as a distinctive territorial unit with special emphasis on selfperception of its inhabitants. It clarifies the mental shift from the identity which is perceived on the basis of social status to the identity based on the affiliation to the nation, which is later embodied by the establishment of Czechoslovakia and Poland. Second part of the Thesis turns its attention to the external, international dimension of the conflict, i.e. mutual Czechoslovak-Polish negotiations, genesis of their attitudes and the role of the Entente powers and decisive bodies of the Paris Peace...

Breaking down barriers: Euroregional cooporation of the Czech Republic

Benko, Karen January 2014 (has links)
Cooperation between people of different nations has existed throughout Europe for centuries on an informal basis as borders have shifted and power has found its way into different hands. During the European integration process of the 1950s, this cooperation was formalized with the creation of the Euroregions, or cross-border regions. These regions were formed to promote common interests and cooperation to counteract barriers and benefit the people residing in the area. The Czech Republic is currently a member of 13 different Euroregions either exclusively or with multiple neighboring countries: Poland (7), Austria (3), Germany (4), and Slovakia (2). Of these 13 regions, four - Silva Nortica (Czech-Austrian, 2002), Bílé-Biele Karpaty (Czech-Slovak, 2000), Silesia (Czech-Polish, 1998), and Egrensis (Czech-German, 1993) - have been chosen to further evaluate how the creation of Euroregions has facilitated regional development. This thesis aims to analyze the level of regional development in the programming periods before and after the accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union in these four Euroregions through the application of the theory of learning regions. Then, by applying the three criteria of theory of learning regions to the four chosen Euroregions, it will determine how the...

Zeměpanské konfirmační listiny pro česká a slezská města do r. 1420 / The Sovereign Confirmations of Chartres for Bohemian and Silesian Towns to 1420

Velička, Tomáš January 2014 (has links)
The present work deals with confirmations that have issued Bohemian kings and princes of Silesia to Bohemian or Silesian towns. The work is divided into five parts. The first deals with existing exploration and methodological inspiration that I subsequently used. The second chapter summarizes the findings regarding the process of confirmation documents - from motives of its release, through the process of the documents in the office during the procedure, to handing over the finished instrument beneficiaries and paying taxes. Then I deal with the various types of confirmations and also I discuss separately the observational charters. The third part is devoted confirmations for the Bohemian towns with regard to all documents which the royal towns received, published by Bohemian kings. The problems are discussed from the perspective of publishers and recipients, as well as the documents themselves (their content, form). The same shall apply also in the case of the fourth chapter, which deals with the same aspects of the Silesian towns and confirmations, which they were received. The final chapter summarizes the findings, which I reached on the previous pages. An important part of this thesis is a variety of reports and graphs to better perceive the immediate context and development trends. I also deal with...

Die Bedeutung der "Ratiborer Singakademie" für Operaufführungen in Ratibor im 19. Jahrhundert

Póspiech, Remigiusz January 1998 (has links)
