The main aim of the thesis is the reconstruction of three-dimensional surface from a~set of two-dimensional images. For the implementation of this application the programming language Java and its extension, that allows work with three-dimensional models, were chosen. First, viewing of three-dimensional models of two different file formats was necessary to allow. To create the three-dimensional models, the Marching Cubes algorithm was used. This algorithm is decribed theoretically in the text, description of the implementation and correction of deficiencies follows. Finally, the implementation of the inversion procedure of reconstruction of the three-dimensional surface, which is the extraction of two-dimensional images from the three-dimensional model, is described.

The subject of this thesis is the study of cryptographic hash functions, which utilize block ciphers as underlying chain functions. It is mainly concerned with the analysis of the three hash algorithms, the Whirlpool, Gr&oslash / stl and Grindahl. All these hash functions have underlying block ciphers that are modified versions of the Advance Encryption Standard and we investigate the behavior of these block ciphers under the integral attack. Statistical tests, such as the avalanche test and the collision test, are the regular tools for examining the hash function security. In this work, we inspect the statistical behavior the three hash functions and search for collisions. Although it is very difficult to obtain collisions for the actual algorithms, we find some collisions under slight modifications of the original constructions. The ease or difficulty of finding a collision for a modified version also shows the respective importance of the specific hash function branch, missing in the modified version.

Rapid prototyping (RP) is a set of fabrication technologies that are used to produce accurate parts directly from computer aided drawing (CAD) data. These technologies are unique in a way that they use an additive fabrication approach in which a three dimensional (3D) object is directly produced. In this thesis study, a RP application with a modular architecture is designed and implemented to satisfy the possible requirements of future rapid prototyping studies. After a functional classification, the developed RP software is divided into View, RP and Slice Modules. In the RP module, the process parameter selection and optimal build orientation determination steps are carried out. In the Slice Module, slicing and tool path generation steps are performed. View Module is used to visualize the inputs and outputs of the RP software. To provide 3D visualization support for View Module, a fully independent, open for development, high level 3D modeling environment and graphics library called Graphics Framework is developed. The resulting RP application is benchmarked with the RP software packages in the market according to their memory usage and process time. As a result of this benchmark, it is observed that the developed RP software has presented an equivalent performance with the other commercial RP applications and has proved its success.

Hybrid courts and their impact on the development of substantive international criminal law

Magister Legum - LLM / The aim of this study is to scrutinise, in particular, the legal bases of and decisions taken by various hybrid courts with regards to such consolidating or fragmenting effects on substantive international criminal law. The first section (Chapter 2), it will examine what is to be understood by the notion of a hybrid court. This will be followed by an analysis of the hybrid courts that have been established thus far. Furthermore, the advantages and reasons for which hybrid courts have been established in recent decades will be discussed, especially regarding their potential advantages as a transitional justice instrument. Moreover, disadvantages of hybrid courts and their deficiencies in the past will be addressed. Subsequently, the role of hybrid courts within the international legal system and their utility in the future will be discussed. This will include, on the one hand, the scope of the jurisdiction of hybrid courts in relation to other national and international criminal courts, especially vis-à-vis the ICC. On the other hand, it will be addressed whether hybrid courts will – or should – be established in the future, given the creation of the permanent ICC as well as the shortcomings of hybrid courts in the past. Against this background, the impact of hybrid courts on the further development of international criminal law will be assessed in the third section of the paper (Chapter 4). In this regard, the discussion will focus on a representative selection of hybrid courts, namely the Special Court for Sierra Leone (SCSL), the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) and the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL). It will be discussed how their legal bases as well as their jurisprudence relate to the previous state of international criminal law, and whether they constitute adverse diversifications or positive contributions to international criminal law. In a concluding section (Chapter 5), the results of the study will be analysed and possible correlations between the structural elements of hybrid courts and their impact on international criminal law will be discussed. Finally, further questions regarding the use of hybrid courts in the future will be addressed.

This diploma thesis deals with the design of a selected structural part of multi-tasking machine tool. The solved construction part is the design of a turning table with the possibility of positioning with specified parameters. The research part is focused on CNC machine tools, multi-tasking machine tools and individual parts of turning tables with possible positioning. In a design part, the design of design variants of possible solutions is made and the choice of the design solution is made with the help of multicriteria analysis. Subsequently, the selected design solution is processed with the help of the necessary technical calculations. The result of the work is then a 3D model and the required drawing documentation.
