Emulace CPU pro výuku asemblerů / A CPU Emulator for Course of Assembly LanguagesCharvát, Lukáš January 2011 (has links)
The master thesis discusses the design of an emulator of a CPU architecture instruction set aimed at assembly languages course. While most of nowadays emulators are architecture specific, the emulator proposed in master thesis aims at education and better understanding of assembly languages. The emulator is not limited to a single CPU, but it easily allows defining a purpose-specific architecture and instruction set in order to perform operations upon it and to display its current state.

This thesis proposes a critical reading of Daniel Sadas novel Albedrío. It initiates with a presentation of North Mexican literature, in order to discuss some of the authors particularities, his distance from traditional Realism and the fable tone that pulses throughout his work. A strong category is the notion of Style, discussed in the perspective of authors such as Antoine Compagnon, Susan Sontag and Roger Fowler, to support a formal study of its construction, although not limited to it. The background of the novel is also our subject here, both upon popular culture (as in the romance poems and the corridos), and dialogues with other Latin American writers, such as Juan Rulfo and Guimarães Rosa. Besides formal aspects like punctuation, lexical choices, points of view and the narrators characteristics, the spatial component is also examined, leading us to subjects like nomadism and specific structural motives that can be found along the novel.

Generátor syntetické datové sady pro dopravní analýzu / Synthetic Data Set Generator for Traffic AnalysisŠlosár, Peter January 2014 (has links)
This Master's thesis deals with the design and development of tools for generating a synthetic dataset for traffic analysis purposes. The first part contains a brief introduction to the vehicle detection and rendering methods. Blender and the set of scripts are used to create highly customizable training images dataset and synthetic videos from a single photograph. Great care is taken to create very realistic output, that is suitable for further processing in field of traffic analysis. Produced images and videos are automatically richly annotated. Achieved results are tested by training a sample car detector and evaluated with real life testing data. Synthetic dataset outperforms real training datasets in this comparison of the detection rate. Computational demands of the tools are evaluated as well. The final part sums up the contribution of this thesis and outlines some extensions of the tools for the future.

Výuková sada mikroskopické anatomie bezobratlých pro střední školy / Educational set of microscopic anatomy of intervertebrates for secondary schoolsBartáček, Tomáš January 2011 (has links)
Diplomová práce Educational set of microscopic anatomy of intervertebrates for secondary schools. Tomáš Bartáček Pedagogická fakulty UK v Praze 2010 In this thesis, I compiled an educational set illustrating the microscopic anatomy of intervertebrates. This set is intended for use by students and teachers at high schools and gymnasia. It complements the common tools used for education in zoology of invertebrates. It combines a set of microscopic specimens (histological sections, smear and native specimens) and multimedia atlas. For the present work, I chose model invertebrates that have been commonly described in high school and gymnasia text books. For preparation of the histological sections, I used flatworms (Dugesia gonocephala), roundworms (Ascaris suum) and earthworms (Lumbricus terrestris). I prepared the specimens in accordance with standard methods shown in literature with slight modifications in order to make them suitable for the given specimens. I used paraffin as a cutting fluid and I stained the specimens using either Harris hematoxylin and eosin or Masson's trichrome stain. To create the smear specimens, I spread the animal tissues of interest, fixed them in methylene and stained using Giemsa-Romanowski stain. I prepared the native specimens both vital stained and non-stained. I...

Analýza vlivu trénovací datové sady na úspěšnost segmentace / Analysis of training dataset influence on the efficiency of segmentationBenešovská, Veronika January 2021 (has links)
Microbial structures are present in every living organism, so it is important to classify them for subsequent research of their origin and function. Bruker, s.r.o is developing the MBT Pathfinder for this purpose, which automates the transfer of colonies to MALDI plates, where the subsequent analysis of the sample takes place. Transferred colonies can be selected manually or using an algorithm that ensures automatic colony segmentation. This algorithm must be learned on a training set, which has huge influence on its accuracy. This work deals with measuring the influence of a dataset on the accuracy of this learning algorithm.

Zjednodušení přístupu k propojeným datům pomocí tabulkových pohledů / Simplifying access to linked data using tabular viewsJareš, Antonín January 2021 (has links)
The goal of this thesis is to design and implement a front-end application allowing users to create and manage custom views for arbitrary linked data endpoints. Such views will be executable against a predefined SPARQL endpoint and the users will be able to retrieve and download their requested data in the CSV format. The users will also be able to share these views and store them utilizing Solid Pods. Experienced SPARQL users will be able to manually customize the query. To achieve these goals, the system uses freely available technologies - HTML, JavaScript (namely the React framework) and CSS.

Validace metody nové multiplexní sady protilátek a její využití pro stanovení prognostických znaků dětských akutních leukémií / Novel antibody array validation and application to determine new prognostic markers in childhood acute leukemiaČerná, Daniela January 2011 (has links)
v anglickém jazyce Leukemia is the most common malignant childhood disease, which occurs in Czech Republic every year in about 100 cases. That's why has been devoted over the last 5 decades much attention and funding to this research and the children with leukemia have a high chance for achieving complete remission. Nevertheless, for about 10% of patients leukemia still remains lethal and these cases are subjects of current studies. Leukemia is a complex disease in its pathology involving lots of aberrations, which pathologically manifest at the DNA, mRNA and protein level. Nevertheless some symptoms of this disease are only at the protein grade (and not DNA or mRNA). Since a broad part of the protein profile in leukemic cell changes, it is necessary to develop newer, more sensitive and especially more efficient methods, which are able to follow up changes in large sets of proteins and detect prognostic and diagnostic markers. Within diploma study a new method - multiplex antibody array - has been tested. Our laboratory tests this method in collaboration with a Norwegian laboratory (Rikshospitalet University Hospital, University of Oslo) under leading by Dr. Lund-Johansen, who is the author of this method. Antibody array presents a set of 1152 latex bead populations labeled with fluorescent dyes in...

The Effects of Superstition as Destination Attractiveness on Behavioral IntentionZhang, Yunzhou 30 May 2012 (has links)
Superstitious beliefs date back thousands of years and continue to the present, and research suggests that superstitious beliefs have a robust influence on product satisfaction and decision making under risk. The study therefore examines how superstition attitude will impact potential tourists' intention to visit a destination so that relevant organizations (e.g. destination management/marketing organizations) could better understand potential tourists' behaviors, identify a niche market encompassing those prone to superstition, and tailor the tourism products to the needs and beliefs of potential tourists.
The study used a survey instrument which consists of four components: the scale of Superstition as Destination Attractiveness (SADA), the revised Paranormal Belief Scale, the measurement of Intention to Visit, and respondents' demographics and travel experiences. A mixed-method data collection procedure was adopted to populate the sample. A total of 323 questionnaires were collected from Virginia Tech students, at both undergraduate and graduate level.
A multiple regression analysis method was employed for hypothesis testing. The result of the data analysis supported both hypotheses, and the study finds that the more positive potential tourists' attitude is about superstition, the more likely they are to visit a destination with superstition as its attractiveness, and the more trait of superstition a potential tourist bears, the stronger the relationship between potential tourists' attitude about superstition and their intention to visit a destination with superstition as its attractiveness. Implications and future studies were suggested based on the findings of the study. / Master of Science
