Ce travail de recherche reconstruit la valeur de la notion de securitas d'un point de vue conceptuel et du point de vue de l'histoire de la philosophie dans le but de montrer la centralité du concept et la cohérence de son développement dans la réflexion philosophique de Sénèque. À cette fin les dimensions intérieure et extérieure sont examinées dans leur relation d'implication mutuelle : premièrement la securitas est étudiée par rapport à la dimension psychologique du sujet dans le contexte du progrès moral, deuxièmement, elle est étudiée par rapport à la relation à autrui dans le contexte sociale de l'Empire. La securitas est également analysée en référence au statut épistémologique des Naturales Quaestiones pour étudier la relation que l'homme entretient avec le monde des phénomènes naturels grâce à la science. En outre le concept a été examiné à l’intérieur de la relation entre oeuvre philosophique et oeuvre tragique (Oedipus). Le postulat éthique de la securitas trouve une résonance et un sens complémentaires dans la poétique de l’oeuvre tragique, ce qui détermine donc une poétique de l'incertain. La recherche montre que la présence du focus sur la dimension intérieure vise des objectifs éthiques concernant la sphère extérieure. Ce qui ressort en outre de l’étude de la notion de securitas est une relation tendue avec le monde. Ce caractère tendu de la relation au monde nous a conduit à clarifier la position de Sénèque vis-à-vis de la tradition stoïcienne à laquelle il appartient, ainsi que son attitude par rapport aux autres influences philosophiques (Lucrèce, Cicéron, Celse) et idéologiques (Velleius Paterculus) auxquelles il est perméable. / This research reconstructs the value of the concept of securitas in Seneca's thought with the aim to show its centrality and the organic nature of its development both from a conceptual point of view and from the point of view of the history of ideas. Therefore the interior and the exterior dimensions of the notion and their mutual implications are analyzed: securitas is examined in its interior psychological dimension in the context of moral progress, subsequently the importance of the concept is taken into account in connection with social relations in the imperial context. The epistemological questions of the notion in Naturales Quaestiones are also studied in order to investigate the relationship that man entertains with the world of natural phenomena through science. Securitas was also examined within the relationship between philosophical and dramatic works (Oedipus), suggesting the presence of ethical assumptions of securitas in their inverted sense on a poetic level and allowing us to describe Seneca's poetic as a poetic of uncertainty. The research shows that the ethical aspects which focus on the interior dimension become part of relating to the outside world as well. The tense relationship with the world, which emerges from the study of the concept of securitas, can also be linked to the way Seneca deals with previous philosophical tradition and have contributed to clarify his position with respect to the Stoic tradition to which he belongs, as well as with respect to other philosophical (Lucretius, Cicero, Celsus) and ideological (Velleius Paterculus) influences which are present in his works.

All interviews took place at Aroundio’s headquarters in</p><p>Linköping on the 5th of May 2008. All of the respondents gave consent for the recording of</p><p>the interviews. Also notes were taken during the interviews. The questions asked during the</p><p>interviews were based on a semi structured interview format, dealing with the two areas of the</p><p>investigation, Aroundio’s sales training and coaching.</p><p>The result indicates the sales training and coaching provided by Securitas Aroundio is</p><p>adequate. Sociala Intranät : Dess användning, möjligheter och risker

Organizations over the world increasingly start to realize the possibilities of the use of a social intranet, also known as Enterprise 2.0. The social intranets can be used to collaborate and communicate with colleagues in the workplace. Both Cook (2008) and Coope (Barnett, 2011) say that Enterprise 2.0 is about to fundamentally change the way organizations communicate. But do companies know how these tools can be used? The study emanates from three questions: How can social intranets be used in business? How can internal communication and collaboration get easier through the use of a social intranet? What are the possible risks with the use of social intranets? In this study we have in a qualitative manner been interviewing two companies that currently use social intranets in their daily activities – Securitas and Skåneme-jerier. The interviews where performed via telephone with two people familiar with the respective social intranets. We have also sent out a questionnaire via e-mail to a user group of each company's intranet, to gain knowledge of users' opi-nions. The interviews show that both companies agree that it is important for peers to communicate and exchange information and knowledge with each other. The so-cial intranets are used both for communication, collecting employees' knowledge, and to ease the employees information need by gathering all information at the same place. Respondents also pointed out the advantage of written information and knowledge. As it is written it is also searchable. It will also remain in the organiza-tion even though the creator might leave the company. The fact that all users can edit for example wikis and files on the intranet can be used to keep information up to date. / Organisationer börjar i allt större grad inse möjligheterna med att använda sociala intranät, också kallat Enterprise 2.0, för att samarbeta och kommunicera i arbetet. Både Cook (2008) och Coope (Barnett, 2011) menar att Enterprise 2.0 är på väg att fundamentalt ändra de sätt som en organisation kommunicerar på. Användningen av sociala verktyg, som till exempel ett socialt intranät, breder ut sig i företag världen över. Även i Sverige ökar användningen, men hur används egentligen dessa intranät? Studien tar utgångspunkt i tre frågor: Hur kan sociala intranät användas i företag? Hur kan sociala intranät användas för att underlätta intern kommunikation och samarbeten inom företag? Vilka eventuella risker finns med användningen av sociala intranät?   I studien har vi valt att kvalitativt intervjua två företag som idag använder sociala intranät i sin dagliga verksamhet – Securitas och Skånemejerier. Vi genomförde telefonintervjuer med två personer insatta i arbetet med respektive socialt intranät. Vi har också skickat ut ett frågeformulär per e-post till en användargrupp av de båda företagens sociala intranät, för att få kunskap om användarnas åsikter. Både Securitas och Skånemejerier är överens om att det är viktigt att kollegor kommunicerar och utbyter information och kunskap med varandra. De sociala intranäten används bland annat för att samla in de anställdas kunskap, i syfte att nå konkurrensfördelar.  Tanken är också att de anställda enkelt ska kunna finna all den information och hjälp de behöver på intranätet, för att kunna utföra sina dagliga affärsprocesser. Det anses också av respondenterna viktigt med en ”kommunikativ kultur” i organisationen, något som ett socialt intranät kan stödja. De anställda kan på ett enkelt sätt genom ett socialt intranät ventilera åsikter och utbyta information. De båda intranäten innehåller bloggar, forum, statusuppdateringar etcetera för att ge de anställda flera olika kanaler att använda beroende på situation. Respondenterna påpekade även fördelen med nedskriven information och kunskap. Genom att den är nedskriven är den även sökbar. Den kommer också att finnas kvar i organisationen trots att skaparen eventuellt lämnar företaget. Samtliga användare kan redigera exempelvis wikis och filer på intranätet, vilket gör att dessa behållas uppdaterade.

Behovsanpassad bevakning / Customer-oriented security services

<p>The market for security is one filled with great opportunities. The security services companies are numerous and diverse, the Swedish market is dominated by two large companies: Securitas Bevakning AB and Falck Security AB. In this study we have focused on the bigger of the two, Securitas. </p><p>This report describes and analysis the security service branch and its surroundings in an involved manner. The target group of the result is mainly people within the security branch. However, by making a wide theoretical description the person unacquainted with the business will be able to understand the concept of this interesting trade. Further, those who are familiar with this field will be enabled to broaden their minds. The aim with this project is to create a foundation upon which Securitas can further continue their work. We have not presented any direct solutions, instead we have displayed concrete problems and presented guidelines for further exploration. </p><p>The purpose of the investigation is to discover how modern technology can improve today’s guard services. Moreover, the aim is to show how a change of attitude needs to be present while developing future security services. This change can also be applied to other security services than the time-sharing guarding. </p><p>The methodology used to meet our goals was a qualitative investigation based on interviews and literary studies. In order to form a robust overview of the study area the objects were carefully selected according to set preferences. These were, among others, which function the object has in society, how long they have been customers with Securitas and what kind of business they run. </p><p>In the discussion and analysis four important areas is to be taken into consideration: The change of the market, the adaptation of the service to the needs of the customer, the adaptation of technology, and the assertion to the customer of the profound effects following these amendments. These four areas represent the foundation for the presented model. </p><p>A solid cooperation between the customer and the supplier of the security service is vital. In contemporary society the customers have become more specialised and thereby the delivering company must aim to meet the increasing demands expected of this specialised service. Therefore the demand on the competence of the guard is getting higher. Another conclusion is also that one should introduce a quality measurement system that together with a statistical basis makes reporting and the analysing of the effects of the guarding easier to the customer. </p><p>Technology is the most important corner stone in an effective alarm system. The time for an emergency call response must be reduced. Further qualities that the customer demands are that the security companies possess good knowledge of the object and its surroundings. The effectiveness in the guarding rounds and the learning time for a new object can be reduced by multimedia teaching aids. </p><p>The customer satisfaction is not likely to be long term if they cannot see the results and high quality that they ask for. This is why it will be very important to measure, calculate and point out what both the guard and the security company can contribute with to please the customer. To enhance the dialogue the guard will be presenting solutions rather than static reports, and an acting counsellor strengthen the feeling of professionalism. Any change from the customers that affects the actual risk picture has to be identified promptly by the security service company.</p>

Online communication of CSR by Swedish MNEs : A multiple case study

Most multinational enterprises face difficulties regarding what and how to best communicate activities related to corporate social responsibility. Therefore, this master thesis addresses the online communication of corporate social responsibility by Swedish multinational enterprises. The purpose is to contribute to the understanding of the way Swedish multinational enterprises reveal messages regarding corporate social responsibility to their international stakeholders while communicating with them online via their websites and social media. This research is of qualitative nature and follows a multiple case study design. The six Swedish MNEs the Volvo Group, H&amp;M, Atlas Copco, Securitas AB, Svenska Kullagerfabriken, and Svenska Cellulosa AB are included in the sample. Two methods for data collection are combined: online observation of the communication regarding corporate social responsibility on the corporate websites including sustainability reports or alike and in social media as well as qualitative, semi-structured interviews with the employees in charge of corporate social responsibility. The results indicate that the examined multinational enterprises communicated corporate social responsibility in different ways depending on whether they communicate via their corporate websites, their reports or in social media. This master thesis concludes with practical recommendations for multinational enterprises involved in communication of corporate social responsibility.
