<p>The project team has chosen to carry out the project itself. The problem has become so common that we do not even notice it in the media. Each year the theft of 1 billion of Sweden and the entire 82 billion in Europe in 2008. This is an increase of 10 billion by 2007. However, reducing the number of crimes committed but the value of thefts increases. This, in turn, creates an unsafe working environment for both truck operators and drivers. With this information, it is clear that the truck industry is in urgent need of a new more reliable security product.</p><p>Throughout the project has worked with technologists to create a wide network of contacts with representatives from all stages of transport. This has resulted in technologists had a broad aspect of how widespread the problem is and what is demanded by the market. The project has during the whole project worked to Athena should be as automatic as possible. This is not the drivers or truck have to press some unnecessary buttons to activate the system or any of its functions. This is to facilitate for the drivers so much and also to streamline the shipment as much as possible. The group has in the project worked to Athena to be constantly active. It should never play any role if the cause is at an unattended location or at a terminal, it will always be automatically monitored.</p><p>With the help of the group's specifications, observations, and all information collected Athena has been developed. The project began in early stage testing Athena with successful results. These results have in turn been shown in various seminar Police have kept in and also the Länsförsäkringar Halland to use Athena as the only security product in their briefings of the haulage industry.</p>

Computer security is of ever increasing importance in the modern corporate world due to the risk of disclosing sensitive assets. In a world where technology can be found in most organizations and businesses the importance of ensuring secure assets is not only a good habit but a necessity.This study concerned an Internet service provider in south western Sweden who saw an interest in ensuring the security of their computer systems. The Internet service provider wished to remain anonymous to protect its name and interests in casesensitive information were to be disclosed.The approach to test the service provider’s security was to perform an extensive penetration test of the ISP's relevant network and computer infrastructure. The aims of the penetration test were to map vulnerabilities and assess the risk that a possible flaw would pose if exploited.The results indicated that the systems of the ISP included several critical flaws that could lead to a denial of service condition and a complete compromise of the service provider’s office intranet. Furthermore the results indicated the possibility that the Internet service provider had in fact already been hacked by an unknown perpetrator.Finally the study was beneficial for the Internet service provider since they were provided with a deeper understanding of the security flaws in their computer system infrastructure. Moreover they were alerted to the presence of a possible crime scene on their property.

Denna kompletteras av en enkätstudie på Stockholms Läns Landsting och tre intervjuer på Uppsala Kommun med målet att se hur dessa organisationer hanterar BYOD. Arbetet ger en djup insikt i BYOD olika aspekter och visar även på hur de risker som uppkommer kan hanteras.

Säkerhetsmedvetenhet : En kvantitativ studie beträffande mätning av säkerhetsmedvetenhet hos medarbetareArvidsson, Mattias January 2016 (has links)
Denna rapport syftar till att besvara tre frågeställningar; går det att mäta säkerhetsmedvetenhet, vilka variabler påverkar säkerhetsmedvetenheten samt är skillnaderna i variablerna signifikanta. Undersökningen har genomförts i en region och av yrkeskategorin brevbärare, inom företaget Posten Meddelande AB. För att besvara de tre frågeställningarna har en omfattande enkätundersökning genomförts på tio arbetsplatser, där ett dataunderlag på 164 svar inhämtats. Underlaget har indexerats till ett index som är avsett att beskriva hur god säkerhetsmedvetenhet de svarande har. Säkerhetsmedvetenhetsindexet har sedan analyserats med olika sambandsanalyser för att se om de oberoende variablerna påverkar resultatet. Totalt har sju oberoende variabler analyserats, och av dessa har fem påverkat resultatet. Till sist har dessa fem testats med medelvärdes- och variansanalyser för att se om skillnaderna i grupperna är signifikanta. Resultatet av det visar att skillnaderna är signifikanta och i princip alla med mer hög tillförlitlighet. Slutsatsen av dessa analyser är att äldre personer som jobbat länge inom Posten Meddelande och genomgått en säkerhetsutbildning har statistiskt säkerställt bättre säkerhetsmedvetenhet. Då ålder och erfarenhet är omöjligt att erhålla på kort sikt, anser författaren att den viktigaste framgångsfaktorn för att uppnå god säkerhetsmedvetenhet är att alla inom företaget bör genomgå en säkerhetsutbildning.

<p>Can you ensure that your smoke detector will sense fire and sound the alarm in the middle of the night?</p><p>In 80 percent of the cases where emergency pulls out, smoke detectors are missing where the fire occurred. In the year of 2009, 118 people in Sweden died in fires – most of them would have survived if there had been a functioning smoke detector.</p><p>Earlier development of smoke detectors has mainly been focusing on components that sense smoke and alert in case of fire. But in most cases the problem has not been whether the smoke detector was working or not as fully assembled, but rather that it was missing. The smoke detector has in these cases unfortunately been removed because of unwanted alarms in connection with e.g. cooking and therefore been disassembled and forgotten about. Another major problem is the lack of power supply to the smoke detector i.e. the batteries run out and have not been replaced by new ones. Therefore, the project team has put the focus in the users when developing a new smoke detector, Safire, in order to eliminate the causes of having a non-functioning smoke detector at home. Safire is a unique solution that combines high security with simple using. Ett annat stort problem är att det saknas strömförsörjning till brandvarnaren; batterierna tar slut och man glömmer att sätta i nya.</p><p>Därför har projektgruppen arbetat med användaren i fokus vid utvecklingen av en ny brandvarnare, Safire, för att eliminera orsakerna till att man har en icke fungerande brandvarnare i bostaden. Safire är en unik lösning som kombinerar hög säkerhet med enkelt användande. Dessutom har den en snygg design som gynnar helhetsintrycket och förstärker säkerheten.</p>
