ZPŮSOB NAHLÍŽENÍ NA SEXUALITU OSOB S "POSTIŽENÍM" V RÁMCI ZAŘÍZENÍ SOCIÁLNÍ PÉČE. Komparace projektů sexuální asistence v České republice a Novém Jižním Walesu / THE APPROACHES TO SEXUALITY OF PEOPLE WTH DISABILITY IN SOCIAL CARE ORGANISATION. Comparison of sexual surrogate projects in the Czech Republic and New South Wales

Janíčková, Kateřina January 2018 (has links)
In my thesis I discuss sexuality of disabled people, the service of sexual surrogacy and the conditions which are in this sense set in social care institutions. My aim is to offer an insight into the openness of the representatives of these institutions to discuss sexuality of social care recipients. This should outline what starting position for those who provide information or practical assistance in satisfaction of sexual needs of disabled people is. Besides, I compare the situation in the Czech Republic with the situation in New South Wales. In this Australian country, there was a survey few years ago similar to the one I recently made here in the Czech Republic and I want to compare their results. New South Wales is in my thesis the example of countries where providing sexual services is legal while in the Czech republic there this way of making money lies in "grey market". The different approach to legislation of providing sexual services in my point of view and also according to the information I found out influences how people perceive the service of sexual surrogacy for disabled. Based on that, I expect the results of Australian survey and also the extent of accessibility to information and sexual surrogacy shows to be more favourable than those in the Czech Republic.

DIGITAL ANSÖKAN – ETT HJÄLPMEDEL FÖR DET SOCIALA ARBETET? : Upplevelser och åsikter från handläggare inom ekonomiskt bistånd

Stensland, Nathalie, Hjelting, Emma January 2020 (has links)
Sweden has a vision of digitizing all domains of the public sector, with a goal of achieving good health and welfare for the entire population. The organizations that are increasingly becoming the subject of digitalization are, among other things, those that deal with financial aid matters. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the digitalization of the application for financial aid affects the social work and its clients. To answer this, we have sent out web surveys to 15 financial aid organizations in Sweden. The results show that the social workers for the most part are positive concerning the digitalization since the application process has become easier and more efficient. The social workers express that they have been assigned more clients than before and that they have gotten less time with each individual client. One prominent limitation regarding the digitalization of the application is when individuals who do not possess the digital tools required to apply have to apply via paper application. Our results show that digitalization can contribute to social work being more efficient and easily accessible for clients. Thus, for it to be accessible for the whole Swedish population more development needs to be done.

Applying for home care services : A qualitative study of how first-time users of social care for older people experienced the application process

Karlström, Pim January 2022 (has links)
Aim: To explore how older people (>65 years), who have been granted home care services for the first time, experienced their contact with the municipal need assessor and the process of the need assessment. Method/data: Semi-structured interviews (n=7) have been conducted with first-time users of social care for older people (>65 years) living in one district in the City of Stockholm. The interviews were thematically analysed based on the theoretical approach by Braun & Clarke (2006).Findings: Applying for home care services affects several dimensions of thoughts and emotions related to the process of ageing. Compromised ability/health/independence and the accessibility of informal care influenced the respondent’s tendency to apply. Thoughts and emotions related to identity, autonomy and managing tasks on their own was significant. Both positive and negative emotions related to the contact with the municipal need assessor was found. Conclusions: Municipal home care services include several aspects beyond the practical matters. The contact with the municipal need assessor was not the main topic discussed, instead focus was put on the thought process/introspective process leading up to an application. In addition, applying for home care services is sometimes experienced as “the last resort” when other possibilities are exhausted.
