Inserida em um contexto de ressurgimento de relações autogestionárias de trabalho, esta pesquisa tem por objetivos compreender o processo de construção da cooperativa de costureiras gaúchas Unidas Venceremos (UNIVENS) e, principalmente, identificar e discutir as principais repercussões psicossociais desta experiência na vida das sócias-trabalhadoras. Ou seja, busca compreender como a vivência de relações autogestionárias de trabalho afetaram e afetam as vidas sociais de seus sujeitos, tanto no âmbito do trabalho, quanto nos espaços da família, do bairro ou até mesmo da cidade. Trata-se de um estudo de caso que teve como escolhas metodológicas a observação etnográfica e a realização de entrevistas semi-abertas de longa duração. Como resultados, este trabalho apresenta e analisa tanto o processo histórico de construção da cooperativa, como as histórias de trabalho e as principais repercussões da experiência de autogestão apontadas por quatro cooperadas. A experiência política vivida por algumas cooperadas junto ao Orçamento Participativo local surgiu como fonte simbólica da cooperativa, tendo inspirado, inclusive, parte de seus princípios, como o caráter igualitário das relações e a gestão democrática e participativa. Neste sentido, concluiu-se que foi a experiência política que propiciou a experiência econômica, e não o contrário. O direito ao trabalho, o pertencimento ao grupo da cooperativa e o enraizamento como sujeitos nos espaços da Vila e do trabalho, representam as principais repercussões destas experiências – Orçamento Participativo e cooperativa – chamadas aqui de permanências, na medida que compõem dialeticamente um campo estável de referências para essas trabalhadoras, capaz de salvaguardar a manutenção da vida familiar e o poder de intervenção de suas ações cotidianas. Dessa forma, essas permanências possibilitam o enlace firme e perene destas pessoas em seus lugares através do tempo, uma vez que passam a conhecer e a construir a história da cooperativa e do bairro (passado), a circular por estes espaços com maior apropriação e segurança (presente) e a arquitetar para eles novas ações interventivas (futuro). As permanências também se apresentaram como condições simbólicas para a ação política, por permitir a estas trabalhadoras, ainda que momentaneamente, o afastamento das atividades voltadas para a sobrevivência e o alcance da liberdade necessária para a prática da política em espaços comuns. Ainda como conclusões, esta pesquisa apresenta a possibilidade de sonhar, projetar e realizar ações políticas em horizontes mais amplos como uma repercussão de segundo grau destas permanências e, por conseguinte, desta experiência autogestionária, para seus sujeitos. / This study is closely tied to a social context which witnessed the reappearance of self-management as a characteristic of work relations. The objectives of the study are to comprehend the process of construction of the Porto Alegre-based seamstress Cooperative Unidas Venceremos (UNIVENS) and most importantly, to identify and discuss the principle socio-psychological repercussions of that experience in the lives of the worker members of the organization. In other words, this investigation strives to understand how the experiencing of self-management work relations affected, and affect, the social lives of the subjects considered, in the work environment as well as in the family, the neighborhood, and even the city. The investigation is a case-study in which the researcher opted for a methodology based on ethnographic observation and the realization of partially structured long-duration interviews. The results present and analyze the historical process of construction of the cooperative, as well as the "work histories" and the principle repercussions of the self-management experience on four members of the cooperative. The political experience which some of the members of the cooperative underwent, influenced by the local so-called Participatory Budget, surfaced as a kind of symbolic mainspring of the cooperative, having even inspired some of its principles such as the equalitarian nature of its work relations and the democratic and participatory tendencies of its management practices. Due to the above facts, the study reached the conclusion that it was the political experience that led to the economic experience, and not vice versa. The right to work, the fact of belonging to the group constituted by the cooperative, and the character of rootedness as subjects in the spaces of neighborhood and work represent the principle repercussions of these experiences – that is, of the Participatory Budget and the cooperative – and are referred to here as permanencies since they make up a dialectically-construed stable field of references for these workers, references which safeguard the maintenance of family life and the enabling power of intervention in daily life. In this way, these permanencies make possible the firm and perennial connectedness of these persons to their spaces through time, since they are able to know and construct the history of the cooperative and the community (the past), to circulate through these spaces with more of a sense of security and belongingness (the present), and to construct for themselves new ways of intervening in these particular spaces (the future). The permanencies also appeared as symbolic conditions for political action, permitting these workers, even though momentarily, to go beyond mere survival activities and to attain the necessary freedom for political practice within communal spaces. Finally, in conclusion, this study presents the possibility of dreaming, projecting and realizing political actions on a wider scale as a secondary repercussion of the above cited permanencies and, therefore, of the self-management experience itself.

A presente tese analisa a aderência e a coerência da economia solidária a partir de um estudo de caso descritivo de grupos autogestionários em Mato Grosso do Sul, com ênfase nos coletivos de produção do MST. Para tal, identificam-se os principais elementos formadores da teoria da economia solidária presentes entre os precursores, Owen, Marx e Yunus, e os contemporâneos, Singer, Arruda, Mance, Coraggio e Gaiger. A análise dos contemporâneos é auxiliada por uma pré-estrutura conceitual, que observa uma crítica ao capitalismo, uma teoria da transição e uma utopia. Os elementos identificados têm a aderência testada por meio das generalizações analíticas do estudo de caso. Em complemento, esta tarefa é estendida para abranger outros temas desenvolvidos na literatura específica por autores esparsos. Na conclusão, avalia-se a coerência da economia solidária, verificando os pontos em comum entre experiências endógenas, experiências exógenas e teorias propositivas. Verifica-se que a autogestão é o principal desencadeador da economia solidária, que defende um Estado distribuidor, é capaz de gerar uma distribuição de renda média, conforma uma economia heterogênea, procura superar o subdesenvolvimento, é auxiliada pela militância, mas tem um obstruidor, os dominantes na luta de classes. Apesar dos pontos em comum, a pesquisa confirma a necessidade de se reconhecer uma tripla natureza da economia solidária, como teoria, objeto e movimento social, uma dupla dimensão da teoria, descritiva e propositiva, e a existência de duas modalidades de experiências, exógenas e endógenas. Esta confirmação é realizada pelas diferenças que emergem em tais classificações. Por fim, conclui-se que a economia solidária, na conceituação abrangente, não refere-se à defesa de uma economia cordial e afetuosa, mas sim de uma economia capaz de ampliar os direitos sócio-econômicos, emancipar as pessoas e aumentar a capacidade reivindicativa da sociedade. / The present thesis analyzes the adherence and the coherence of the solidary economics from a study of descriptive case of self managed groups in Mato Grosso do Sul, with emphasis in the production collective groups of the MST. For such, main elements of the theory of the solidary economics are identified among the precursors authors, Owen, Marx and Yunus, and the contemporaries, Singer, Arruda, Mance, Coraggio and Gaiger. The analysis of the contemporaries is assisted by a conceptual prestructure, that observes a criticism to the capitalism, a transition theory and an utopia. The identified elements have their adherence tested by analytical generalizations of the case study. In complement, this task is extended to enclose other issues developed in specific literature among sparse authors. In the conclusion, coherence of the solidary economics is evaluated verifying the points in common among endogenous experiences, exogenous experiences and prepositive theories. It is verified that the self management is the main propelling force of the solidary economy, that supports a distributive State, it is capable to generate a distribution of average income, it conforms a heterogeneous economy, it looks for to surpass the subdevelopment, it is assisted by militants, but has an obstructor, the dominants in the class struggle. Despite the points in common, the research confirms the necessity of recognize a triple nature of the solidary economy, as theory (solidary economics), object (solidary economy) and social movement, a double dimension of the theory, descriptive and prepositive, and the existence of two modalities of experiences, exogenous and endogenous. This confirmation is carried through by the observation of differences that emerge in such classifications. Finally, it concludes that the solidary economy, in the broad conceptualization, does not mean the defense of an economy of cordiality, but an economy responsible for extending the social and economic rights, emancipating the people and increasing the requiring capacity of the society.

This field of study endeavors to find support in the theoretical perspective of the social constructionism by using references such as Singer s Solidary Economics (2006; 2004; 2000; 1999), Mance, (2003), Arruda (2006), Tiriba (2004), Souza (2006), as well as the discursive practices and senses production (Spink, M. J., 2000), in the Social Psychology. The methods which characterize this research are the case study of an informal team work, in depth interviews made with the members of said team, the participative observation of its progress during a year and a half and the analysis of the Base Document, which subsidized the I National Conference on Solidary Economics. This study has enabled us to conclude that closer ties, between the Solidary Economics movement and the social players, are needed in order to legitimize this movement into the day-to-day of people and society groups as a whole / O presente estudo teve como objetivo comparar os sentidos sobre Economia Solidária presentes no Documento Base da I Conferência Nacional de Economia Solidária e os sentidos que estão em uso nos espaços de trabalho, de um grupo de trabalho informal constituído por mulheres da Comunidade Monte Moriá, para investigar as coerências e incoerências entre o que é discutido institucionalmente e o que é vivenciado no cotidiano das pessoas. Busca-se referenciar este campo com a perspectiva teórica do construcionismo social, usando referências da Economia Solidária de Singer (2006; 2004; 2000; 1999), Mance, (2003), Arruda (2006), Tiriba (2004), Souza (2006), bem como das práticas discursivas e produção de sentidos (Spink, M. J., 2000), na Psicologia Social. Os métodos que caracterizam esta pesquisa são o estudo de caso de um grupo de trabalho informal, entrevistas em profundidade realizadas com integrantes do grupo; além da observação participante em relação ao seu progresso durante um ano e meio e a análise do Documento Base que subsidiou a realização da I Conferência Nacional de Economia Solidária. O estudo permitiu concluir que se faz necessário maior aproximação do movimento da Economia Solidária institucionalizado com os atores sociais para torná-lo legítimo no cotidiano das pessoas e grupos da sociedade como um todo
