Spektrální analýza erupcí na AD Leo / Spectral analysis of flares on AD Leo

Wollmann, Jiří January 2021 (has links)
Solar flare is a process which releases magnetic energy stored in the solar corona due to the effect of magnetic reconnection. Similar activity has been observed on other stellar types, namely type K and M stars, which usually have vast and strong magnetic field. Often during flares on M stars we observe asymmetry of profiles of some spectral lines with enhanced red wing. The cause of these asymmetries is not well understood. The aim of this thesis is to analyse spectra of AD Leo, which is frequently flaring dMe star, and to model radiation of the Hα line coming from flare loops analogically to flare loops on the Sun. The light curves of selected spectral lines rise sharply during initial phases of flares and gradually fall back to preflare state. The light curves of continua surrounding these selected spectral lines rise sharply in the blue part of the spectrum during flares. The continua in the red part exhibit only small rise. Simulations of Hα radiation coming from flare loops yield asymmetric profiles with highly enhanced red wings. 1

Överföring av NIR metod för kvantitativ analys mellan olika instrument / Transfer of a NIR Method for Quantitative Analysis between Different Instruments

Mado, George January 2019 (has links)
This diploma work treats the transferring of a method from an Antaris NIR-instrument at AstraZeneca Macclesfield to a Bomem 3600 NIR-instrument at AstraZeneca Gärtuna. The method is used to ensure that by-product form L is below the specified limit value for the product. Quantitative NIR methods are not absolute. They are predictive methods that are based on the inclusion of spectra for several samples that are also analyzed with a reference method. Then, a multivariate computer program is used that relates each spectra to its value with linear regression. To transfer a method between two different NIR-instruments, you need to mathematically transfer the spectra on which the multivariate model is based on, so that they are mathematically analyzed on the instrument that the method is transferred to. The raw data used to build the model is data from the NIR-instrument in Macclesfield and the NIR instrumentin Gärtuna. The transformation of data is performed in Matlab with local centering. The transformed data is then used to build the model in SIMCA 14 which is a software for managing multivariate data models. When the model's correctness is verified, a method is created in SenISS that uses the newly built model to predict Form L in the product. The model is a 2-component PLS model that has the SNV and second derivative spectral filters. These filters contribute to signal correction and reduce the individual differences in spectrum. To verify the correctness of the model, several parameters have been examined, these parameters are: linearity, accuracy, repeatability and selectivity. The linearity is verified by means of a validation set where the model can predict the content of Form L which is then compared with the Form L value determined with reference method. Regression statistics are calculated to verify that the slope includes the value 1 and that the intercept includes the value 0 in a 95% confidence interval. The accuracy is verified by examining how much the predictions deviates from the reference method. The accepted value is 20% RSD. The model has a maximum RSD value of 11.7%. The repeatability is verified by analyzing 2 capsules from 2 different batches 10 times each. Then the pooled standard deviation and a 95% confidence interval is calculated. The selectivity of the model is verified by analyzing capsules with other contents, 5 capsules with different contents is analyzed. The model gives high values of DModX (the distance for each observation to the model) and/or Hotelling's T2 (the distance from the observation to the center of the model) which means that the analyzed capsules with different content deviate from the model.

This Master's thesis deals with proposal of Flexible Spectrum Usage (FSU) algorithm based on policy agreed among operators. The introduction presents basic information about properties of next generation mobile communication ITM-Advanced system. After the introductory part the attention is given to the items efficient for FSU implementation as well as parameters used for evaluation of FSU algorithm efficiency. Several variants policy based FSU algorithm utilize value of Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) is designed. The SINR information is used to combat with mutual interference which is caused by coexistence of several operators in the same geographical area sharing over the same spectrum pool. Individual needed as traffic and quality of service requirements of each operator is taken into consideration as well. The main aim is to maximize cell troughput as well as data- rates for each user of HBS. For simulation of proposal algorithm is considered deployment of four Currently Home Base Stations (HBS) in indoor loacal area scenerio with random number of users in given range. Each operator makes independent dicision without signalling exchange among other. The only considered information that HBS can use is gotten by scenning its environment. This problem soliving is considered to use Cognitive Radio (CR)

REGULACE ROZHLASOVÉHO A TELEVIZNÍHO VYSÍLÁNÍ / REGULATION OF RADIO AND TV BROADCASTING

Paroubková, Martina January 2011 (has links)
An analysis of the state interventions into a broadcasting market will be the aim of this thesis. A state is in the most of countries represented by a special broadcasting market commission. In my thesis I will focus on the commission's behaviour. In the first part of my thesis I would like to consider a theoretical background, history and actual legislation of the electromagnetic spectrum regulation, particularly the legislation of both types of regulation -- structural and content regulation. Conclusions reached will be applied to the situation in the Czech Republic. The thesis should answer questions as whether the members of the commissions are objective, independent in their decision-making and behave within the defined legal frame. Acting of the Czech commission will be analyzed on the example of "Radio Wave affair". This radio station was taken from analog broadcast after the pressure from the Council of the Czech Radio.

Kostelecká, Magdaléna January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on Snoezelen as special educational support for children with autistic spectrum disorder. Snoezelen can be understood as a way of relaxation, spending free time, pedagogical action or comprehensive therapy. It can be practiced in different facilities and it brings profit to general public with different impairment. Autistic spectrum disorder is one of diagnoses in which therapists decide to use the effect of Snoezelen. There are some researches focusing on quantitative detection of the circumstances associated with Snoezelen. This is why this thesis is dedicated to a qualitative study of the use of Snoezelen in a special pedagogical institution. This Thesis aims to analyse literary sources to comprehensively characterize problems of autistic spectrum disorders and to outline the principles, benefits and requirements of Snoezelen. Subsequently, using a qualitative survey, describe coherently the way in which Snoezelen is practiced to children with autistic spectrum in a particular special pedagogical institution, evaluate this way and recommend possible improvements.
