Deformačně napěťová analýza zubové spojky / Strain-stress analysis of gear coupling

Vondra, Róbert January 2020 (has links)
This thesis deals with the contact analysis study of crown gear couplings during the simulation of its working conditions. The toothed coupling transmits high torque, even when the input and output shafts are misaligned due to outside tooth shape. For this reason, it is necessary to design the gear shape correctly. The inherent use of toothed couplings results in a wide range of working speeds and load transfers. This can cause several problems, if the parameters are selected incorrectly. Among the most significant of these is the generation of vibrations during gear engagement, accompanied by noise and the excessive loading of components, such as shafts and bearings. It is not possible to completely reduce uneven running, even with knowledge of the latest trends in the field of gear development. For this reason, it is necessary to eliminate the paths where the vibrations can propagate during the design itself. Inefficient and costly experiments are often used to determine the correct shape of gear teeth. For this purpose, a computational approach to describe a contact pressure on the teeth of couplings at different misalignment and loads is proposed. The model helps to understand the composition of the contact pressure during the working mode of misalignment and its behaviour within the rotation of the gear coupling. The introductory part of thesis presents the current state of knowledge of gear couplings and a description of load distribution issues, regarding the angular misalignment, torque and friction. In the following chapter, three possible approaches to the problem are described - analytical, experimental and computational. The following work offers the introduction and creation of two different computational models, varying in different tooth shape on the hub and the sleeve. Each geometry was subjected to a different load moment, a misalignment of the hub, or the rotation of the gear coupling as a whole. The main monitored parameter was the course of contact pressure in each step, when changing the degree of misalignment or the rotation of the model. Finally, three main sets of contact pressure on the teeth are presented, in connection with the reduced pressure plotted on the toothed rings. There is derivation of results and mutual comparison of each load case. The computation approach in FEM program Ansys Workbench was used to solve the problem.

Analýza kostry synchronního generátoru / The analysis of frame synchronous generator

Marada, Ondřej January 2011 (has links)
The thesis is focused on the examination of the utility of a synchronous generator of a small hydroelectric power station in the case of a change of working position of the machine. The utility will be measured on the basis of the examination of deformations and state of stress of the frame of the generator for the present running (with vertical axis of rotation of the generator) and subsequently for modified running (with horizontal axis of rotation). This will be accomplished partly on the static shell model by finite element method and consequently on the simplified dynamic model.

Optimalizace uložení projektorové čočky / Placement Optimization of Projector Lens

Bezděk, Matěj January 2014 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the creation of engineering design of holder of projector lens. The thesis is created in cooperation with department of development in Varroc Lighting Systems, s.r.o. Initial part provides a brief description of the development of lighting technology used in car´s headlamps. The following part describes solutions currently used in clamping the lens in holder. The main part of the thesis focuses on the design of holder of projector lens itself. Projector lenses testing provide critical values of cohesive failure of the lens material, which cannot be exceed during the process of lens fitting and its subsequent clamping. In the final part the engineering design is verified and optimized using finite element analysis.

Deformačně napjatostní analýza prvků totální náhrady trapéziometakarpálního kloubu / Deformation and stress analysis of the parts of the total replacement of the trapeziometacarpal joint

Svojanovský, Tomáš January 2015 (has links)
The presented diploma thesis builds on author’s bachelor’s thesis of the similar name which was focused, in particular, on rhizarthrosis. Because of this joint disease, implantations of the total joint replacement are performed. The bachelor’s thesis also served as a familiarization with the finite element method and contact analyses issues, giving a theoretical framework for this diploma thesis. As opposed to that, the diploma thesis aims entirely at deformation and stress analysis of the total replacement. The main objective is to carry out analyses of different variants of geometric models. In addition, there is a tendency to analyze contact pressures of advanced model concerning all the total replacement, bone tissues, ligaments and tendons guaranteeing the static equilibrium of components. The bachelor’s thesis has been developed in ANSYS Workbench, whereas the diploma thesis in ANSYS APDL. Work in APDL allows user to control better over the entire computational process, however, requires more skills and theoretic knowledge. Contact analyses bring a lot of problems associated with convergence of procedures and accuracy of results. Therefore, explanations of important terms and set of recommendations are included for the purpose of easier solving of the contact problems.

Dynamische Auslegung von Zahnradgetrieben mittels Mehrkörpersimulation

Eiselt, Uwe, Kelichhaus, Thomas 02 July 2018 (has links)

Francisconi dos Rios, Luciana Fávaro, Casas-Apayco, Leslie, Calabria, Marcela Pagani, Francisconi, Paulo Afonso Silveria, Borges, Ana Flávia Sanches, Wang, Linda 04 1900 (has links)
El texto completo de este trabajo no está disponible en el Repositorio Académico UPC por restricciones de la casa editorial donde ha sido publicado. / PURPOSE: To assess the long-term effect of a 2% aqueous chlorhexidine (CHX) solution on bond strength to artificially eroded dentin compared to sound dentin. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Flat mid-coronal dentin surfaces of extracted third molars (n = 28) were subjected only to grinding with a 600-grit SiC paper for 1 min (sound dentin S, n = 14) or additionally to erosive pH cycling with a cola-based soft-drink (eroded dentin E, n = 14). After acid etching, rinsing, and air drying, S and E were rehydrated with 1.5 μl of 2% CHX (S2%, n = 7; E2%, n = 7) or of distilled water (control SC, n = 7; EC, n = 7). Composite buildups were incrementally constructed with Filtek Z350 following Adper Single Bond 2 application. Specimens were sectioned into beams, which were subjected to microtensile testing immediately or after 6 or 12 months of aging. Fractured surfaces were observed under a digital microscope (50X magnification). Microtensile bond strength (μTBS) (MPa) was analyzed by three-way ANOVA and Tukey's tests (α = 0.05) and failure mode by the Kruskal-Wallis test (α = 0.05). RESULTS: Compared to sound dentin, eroded dentin was consistently related to lower μTBS. Immediately and after 12-month aging, the effect of CHX was insignificant, but it was significant after 6-month aging, when it conserved the bond strength to both eroded and sound dentin. The percentage of adhesive and mixed failures were equivalent, and significantly more frequent than cohesive failures, whether in dentin or in composite. CONCLUSION: The 2% CHX effect on bond strength conservation to both eroded and sound dentin was not found to be persistent. / Revisión por pares
