A geração de energia hidrelétrica enfrenta uma crescente restrição a sua expansão, diretamente relacionada a fatores ambientais e da limitação de terrenos com potencial economicamente aproveitável. A partir deste fato, é relacionada uma possível fonte de energia hidrelétrica, resultante do aproveitamento dos potenciais presentes na rede de distribuição de água das cidades, ainda sem nenhum aproveitamento. O desenvolvimento desta fonte de energia se dá com a instalação de mini e micro centrais hidrelétricas nos condutos da rede distribuidora de água. Este trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar o potencial de aproveitamento hidrelétrico por mini e micro hidrelétricas por meio de técnicas de modelagem e de otimização, para agilizar e facilitar o procedimento de identificação dos potenciais e a instalação na rede de abastecimento. O trabalho leva em conta as diversas peculiaridades das redes de distribuição de água e dos equipamentos eletro-hidráulicos, discorrendo sobre a possível complementariedade da geração de energia durante os picos de consumo. Discorre também sobre a contribuição para a rede de distribuição elétrica, na logística e nos custos de implantação além de discutir a tipologia das turbinas capazes de aproveitar o potencial energético. É avaliado, com o auxilio de modelos hidráulicos e de otimização, o posicionamento das centrais geradoras na rede e os possíveis benefícios, restrições e impedimentos ao seu uso, desenvolvendo uma metodologia para facilitar a tomada de decisão quanto ao aproveitamento para geração, ou não, em redes diversas. A construção deste procedimento e ferramenta são desenvolvidos a partir do estudo de caso do sistema distribuidor de água do Município de Piquete no estado de São Paulo, Brasil. / Hydropower energy production is facing limitations in their capacity to grow due directly to environmental and space limitations, questioning the actual economic benefits that hydropower have always had compared to other energy sources. In order to face this problems and to propose a new technology, the study focus on the potential of hydropower generation in the water supply systems (WSSs) network that are yet to be studied. Developing this new technology means the introduction of mini and micro hydropower plants in the WSS network. This study intends to develop a methodology and evaluate mini and micro hydropower potential, adopting optimization and modeling tools to accelerate and facilitate the identification procedures of potential installation points and the possibility of implementing pressure controls in the form of turbines in the network. The study considers all WSS peculiarities and restrictions, evaluating the introduction of electro hydraulic equipment and their interference and complementarity when considering energy consumption and production that would make the installation feasible. There is also a discussion about how will this technique be implemented in the network without interfering in water supply, and the logistics, costs and how energy distribution issues can be treated, including turbines type and configuration and also the activation timetables. All these features will be linked and treated with an optimization method that can provide decision making easier, locating production units and evaluating benefits and restrictions imposed by the environment. The construction of this procedure will be applied in a case study in the Piquete municipality in São Paulo, Brazil.

This paper aims to discuss the public water system implantation in the Municipality of Taubaté during the last half of century XIX. There was a need for better life conditions concerning sanitation hygienic, due to the total lack of sanitary measures. The work also shows the solutions that were used to face the problems that where common to others cities in the Paraíba Valley and even in the Capital of the São Paulo State. It also describes the work developed by the Engineer Fernando de Mattos, who constituted the Companhia Norte de São Paulo that obtained from Taubaté Municipality Chamber the rights to explore the drinking water services in this region for 50 years and built up the system that was concluded in july 1893. / Neste trabalho é pesquisada a história da implantação do sistema de abastecimento público de água do município de Taubaté ocorrido em meados do século XIX. É descrita e analisada as péssimas condições de higiene nesta cidade durante este período, por ocasião da ausência total das condições sanitárias, causadas pela poluição das fontes de abastecimento de água, em torno das quais expandiram-se as construções formando o núcleo habitacional. Visando a solução do abastecimento de água para a população a Câmara analisou diversas alternativas. Por absoluta insuficiência de recursos a maioria delas foi descartada e a solução postergada
pela Câmara de Taubaté. Finalmente em 1885 foi adotada a proposta do Engenheiro Fernando de Mattos que se dispôs a trazer água desde os contrafortes da Serra da Mantiqueira, por meio de uma canalização de ferro fundido, atravessando o Rio Paraíba do Sul, sua várzea, construindo um reservatório de acumulação e rede distribuidora na cidade. É mostrado o desenvolvimento de seu trabalho, que se inicia com a obtenção do privilégio da exploração dos serviços de abastecimento de água de Taubaté por 50 anos, a formação da Companhia Norte Paulista para este fim, até a conclusão dos serviços em julho de 1893.

La gestión de inventarios asume protagonismo como parte medular en el sistema de abastecimiento de las empresas, cuyo objetivo es satisfacer la demanda de productos y servicios, constituyéndose como una de las actividades determinantes del éxito de toda organización. Por esa razón, es necesario tomar decisiones oportunas, para llevar a cabo una gestión de inventario ágil y eficiente; este aspecto constituye la principal motivación para el desarrollo del presente trabajo que busca garantizar la atención de los clientes de forma ininterrumpida.
La metodología aplicada tiene un enfoque explicativo y cualitativo, que se fundamenta en la recolección de 67 artículos del quartil 1. Esta investigación busca especificar lo concerniente a las variables que tienen influencia en la agilidad de inventario. El trabajo se estructura en secciones, cada una desarrolladas con rigurosidad científica. En la sección “método”, se realiza una recopilación del enfoque metodológico asumido por los autores para evaluar factores como la eficiencia, incertidumbre, planificación y flexibilidad vinculados a la gestión del inventario. El apartado “antecedente teórico”, destaca las principales teorías y conceptos que estudiaron los factores antes mencionados. Posteriormente, se exponen los “análisis y resultados” de la evaluación de los enfoques y planteamientos de los autores considerados en el estudio y, finalmente, se tiene la sección de “discusión y conclusiones” en la que se muestran los principales hallazgos del estudio en los que se concluye que, las organizaciones se ven influenciadas en gran medida por la incertidumbre, la cual obliga a las empresas a replantear sus operaciones para poder satisfacer la demanda. / Inventory management takes center stage as a core part of the supply system of companies, whose objective is to satisfy the demand for products and services, becoming one of the determining activities of the success of any organization. For that reason, it is necessary to make timely decisions, to carry out an agile and efficient inventory management; This aspect constitutes the main motivation for the development of this work, which seeks to guarantee uninterrupted customer service.
The applied methodology has an explanatory and qualitative approach, which is based on the collection of 67 items from quartile 1. This research seeks to specify the variables that influence inventory agility. The work is structured in sections, each one developed with scientific rigor, in the “method” section a compilation of the authors' methodological approach is made to evaluate factors such as efficiency, uncertainty, planning and flexibility related to inventory management. The "theoretical background" section highlights the main theories and concepts that studied the aforementioned factors. There is described working of a EPANET and his algorithm also there are explain principles on which EPANET is based. During the hydraulic analysis of real system was used sophisticated software EPANET 2.0. With this program was processed hydraulic analysis of chosen water supply system of small consumption area. Based on the results of analysis pressure conditions has been designed and optimized measure to improve pressure conditions in the water network.

The diploma thesis is focused on risk analysis of water supply system in a small community. The WaterRisk project was solved by using tools of risk management including risk identification and quantification in the field of public water supply systems. Methodology and software for the risk management of water supply were evolved by using this project. In this thesis there is applied the methodology to the water supply system of Hradek village. The hydraulic analysis was performed for a thorough knowledge of water supply and its characteristic behavior. Risk analysis could be performed thanks to the knowledge of the entire system, its working and the most common faults. Analysis results are evaluated and compared for the water supply system which is consider like a system simple and complex. The corrective actions eliminate number of risks. These actions were proposed like a part of complex methodology. Further, there were determined optimal costs which corresponds with these corrective actions.
