Kreditrisk och betalningstid för små- och medelstora företag i Sverige : En studie om hur betalningstider påverkar kreditrisken hos små- och medelstora företag

Lönnqvist, Mikael, Kendes, Antonio January 2019 (has links)
In Sweden, small and medium enterprises (SME:s) represents a majority of the total employement and number of enterprises. Even though this is the case, there is a challange for these companies to get access to the financial resources they need. For several reasons SME:s do not have the same access to the capital markets as large enterprises; therefore, banks are the the main source of SME funding. First of all, banks need a more efficient way for making decisions regarding SME lending. Second of all, it is essential that managers of SME:s knows the critical parts of their financial statements. Purpose: This thesis purpose is to analyze what factors that best determines the credit risk of a SME and further analyze how trade-credit affect these factors. Method: The study is done by the use of two statistical analysis techniques: principal component analysis and oneway-ANOVA. These two analysis techniques are used in a complementary procedure. The data applied is describing 16 financial variables from totally 939 Swedish SME:s.  Results: In the result we introduce the most crucial financial ratios (regarding probability of default) for an SME and their interrelation to trade credit. This data shows, together with the statistical analysis techniques, that there are five financial ratios that have an additional importance compared to the rest. These five financial ratios also shows some interelation to the credit period.  Conclusion: Three out of the five most important financial ratios showed statistical significance. We can conclude that the trade credit has an affect on at least two of the three financial ratios that showed statistical significance.

Gynnade neutraliteten Sverige under andra världskriget? : En analys av den svenska exporten 1930-1950

Jackson, Tobias January 2022 (has links)
The research regarding the effects of the Second World War on the Swedish economy is divided into two parts; on the one hand, there is research that says that neutral Sweden benefited because the country was spared from the war, but on the other, there is research that says that the total effects of the war were negative. Furthermore, researchers such as Hirschman that the prevailing conditions created a situation where small states like Sweden were exploited by great powers. For example, Child argued that Germany in particular exploited smaller trading partners to create favorable terms of trade. This was reflected in their trade agreements. According to this perspective, countries such as Germany used their stronger bargaining power in negotiations to achieve advantages. According to the dependent school theory, which e.g. Hirschman represents, exploited Germany especially smaller, neutral, trading partners. But there is also research by e.g. Neal which shows that there is no evidence that Germany's trade relations with trading partners were in Germany's favor.

Krigsekonomi? : Hur den privatägda ammunitionsfabriken Norma Projektil AB i västra Värmland påverkades av staten under perioden 1938-1943 / War economy? : How the private owned ammunitionfactory Norma Projectile AB in western Värmland was affected by the state during the period 1938-1943.

Forsberg, Mattias January 2013 (has links)
The topic of this essay is whether the private owned ammunition factory Norma Projectile AB was a part of a war economy system from 1938 to 1943. This is done by analyzing specific documents from the company´s archives that expose the connection with Swedish authorities. The selection and analysis of these documents are based on four main criteria’s of the concept war economy. These criteria’s are based on Ivan T. Berends texts about war economy. The results show that the factory to some extent was a part of a war economy based on these four criteria’s. However, the answer to the questions is a bit more nuanced. By nuanced I’m referring to the company’s independence towards the state. By the end of this essay there is a more detailed discussion on this subject.
