However, the Eucharist and symbolisms treated not as separated theme but in the ecumenical context. Once ecumenism and its different ramifications are too vast, the concentration will be only around the churches that are members of National council of Christian churches of Brazil (CONIC). Here are the names of the churches that are members of CONIC; The Roman Catholic church, Catholic Orthodox church of Sirian, The reformed Christian Church, Episcopal Anglican Church of Brazil, Evangelical church of Lutheran Confession of Brazil and the Presbyterian United Church. Eucharist is the center of Christian faith surviving in the midst of plurality of believes in Brazil. Will it be possible one day seeing the Christians celebrating the Lord s Supper around one altar? According to one of the persons we interviewed, when this type of celebration happens, then it will not be called anymore the ecumenical celebration but fulfillment of the Jesus dreams. May they all be one, just as you, father, you are in me and I am in you . / O ponto central deste trabalho é a eucaristia e o simbolismo. Contudo, a eucaristia e o simbolismo não como tema elaborado isoladamente, mas no contexto do ecumenismo. Uma vez que o sentido da palavra ecumenismo, em suas ramificações, é bastante grande, o aspecto ecumênico da eucaristia aparece somente naquelas igrejas que fazem parte do Conic. As denominações cristãs que compõem o Conic são as seguintes: Igreja Católica Romana, Igreja Católica Ortodoxa Siriana, Igreja Cristã Reformada, Igreja Episcopal Anglicana do Brasil (IEAB), Igreja Metodista, Igreja Evangélica de Confissão Luterana no Brasil (IECLB) e Igreja presbiteriana Unida (IPU). O ponto central da fé cristã é a eucaristia, a fé cristã existente no meio de uma pluralidade de outras crenças no Brasil. Based on the dynamics and structure of the reggae movement in Brazil and in the world and based on the discussions and theoretical approaches that give substance to the understanding of the relationship between culture and consumption in the context of the commodification of cultural products, an immersion in aspects involving the production of reggae sound systems, to identify the meanings designed from the products offered and practices from the production of these enterprises, as well as symbolic aspects existing in the forms of consumption of the product by the reggae public. The choice of participant observation as a methodological approach, made on account of the need to seek a partial or complete description of situations in order to identify specific aspects and operations of sound systems as cultural products, whose representations, from the relational interactions between producers and consumers of their offerings, cause a large repertoire of symbols and meanings that have properly identified and analyzed to understand the dynamics of marketing projects and their impacts in the city of São Luís / MA. Thus, the discourse of informants, treated under the guidance of the method of discourse analysis, allowed the identification of aspects, whose peculiarities have to understand the nature of identity reggae movement in the city and their role of this process as contributors. In general, the research results shows that the produced by reggae sound systems, since its initial design, includes a dynamic system, producing a network of symbols and meanings that shape the relations of the market, involving images, types of communication and a peculiar way of consumption by reggae public of São Luís. / O presente estudo tem por objetivo compreender as relações de produção e consumo no universo das radiolas de reggae, identificando os significados, simbolismos e aspectos mercadológicos, decorrentes de suas operações na cidade de São Luís. Inspirado na dinâmica e estruturação do movimento reggae no Brasil e no mundo e tendo como base as discussões e abordagens teóricas que dão substancia ao entendimento da relação entre cultura e consumo no contexto da mercantilização dos produtos culturais, faz-se uma imersão nos aspectos que envolvem a produção musical das radiolas de reggae, buscando identificar os significados projetados e práticas desses empreendimentos, assim como os aspectos simbólicos existentes nas formas de consumo do produto pelo público regueiro. A escolha da observação participante, como abordagem metodológica, se deu por conta da necessidade de buscar uma descrição parcial ou completa de situações como forma de identificar aspectos e particularidades nas operações das radiolas enquanto produtos culturais, cujas representações, decorrentes das interações relacionais entre produtores e consumidores de suas ofertas, originam um grande repertório de significações e simbologias que devidamente identificadas e analisadas permitiram a compreensão da dinâmica mercadológica desses empreendimentos e seus impactos na cidade de São Luís/MA. Assim, os discursos dos informantes, tratados sob a orientação do método de análise de discurso, possibilitaram a identificação de aspectos, cujas peculiaridades permitiram a compreensão do caráter identitário do movimento reggae na cidade e o papel das radiolas como contribuintes desse processo. De maneira geral, os resultados da pesquisa mostram que o reggae produzido pelas radiolas, desde a sua concepção inicial contempla um sistema dinâmico, produzindo uma rede de significações e simbologias que modelam as relações de mercado, envolvendo imagens, formas comunicacionais e de consumo peculiares e únicas pelos regueiros de São Luís.

We assume, supported by Northrop Frye, Carl Jung, Mircea Eliade, Joseph Campbell and Gilbert Durand the perspective in which the myth remains but restore itself infinitely by images and archetypical symbolism. First, we reach to rebuild the conforming cultural essence of the fictional s sebastianist legends of Portugal and Brasil identifying its archetypical components. Thus, we look for sebastianist messianic references, for its thesis and discourse, in the plurilinguistic design of RPR, considering its relevance in the mythical discourse s configuration of the narrative. We notice a forceful tension between apocalyptical and demoniac images, resulting from narrator-protagonist idealistic view and his involvement in realistic world incongruence, pointing myth s dislocations and ironic manner predominance in the narrative. Besides the external and unconcluded character s contest, connected to the judicial process and to the production of his Obra de Gênio da Raça (Genius Lineage/Race Work), foundation stone to his sebastianist messianic kingdom of the Fifth Empire, we distinguish some inner demand linked to his way to maturity which doesn t consolidate effectively. The character s project and their temporary dismissal state plus his expectation of its accomplishment in a not far future constitutes the most important sebastianist messianic bias in the production, strengthened by other thematic recurrences in the Pedra Bonita s sebastianist legend, and make possible still the establishment of a more fertile analogy to the Portuguese manifestation. These different fronts of myth s restoration grant universality and absence of temporality to RPR. / Este trabalho propõe um estudo da lenda sebastianista como matéria mítica no Romance d A Pedra do Reino (RPR), de Ariano Suassuna. Assumimos, com o auxílio das teorizações de Northrop Frye, subsidiadas por Carl Jung, Mircea Eliade, Joseph Campbell, e Gilbert Durand, a perspectiva de que o mito permanece e se atualiza infinitamente por meio de imagens e simbolismos arquetípicos. Buscamos inicialmente reconstruir os veios culturais conformadores do imaginário das lendas sebastianistas de Portugal e do Brasil e identificar seus componentes arquetípicos. Em seguida buscamos as recorrências do messianismo sebástico no tecido plurilinguista do RPR, temática e discursivamente, considerando sua relevância na configuração do discurso mítico na obra. Verificamos a existência de uma forte tensão entre imagens apocalípticas e demoníacas, decorrente da incongruência entre a visão idealista do narrador-protagonista e o mundo realista em que se encontra envolvido, evidenciando os deslocamentos do mito na obra e o predomínio das convenções do modo irônico. Ao lado da demanda exterior e não concluída do personagem, ligada ao processo judicial e à criação de sua Obra de Gênio da Raça , pedra fundamental para a instalação de seu reino messiânico-sebastianista do Quinto Império, distinguimos uma demanda interior ligada a seu percurso rumo à maturidade, o qual não se consolidada efetivamente. O estado de suspensão nos projetos do personagem e a expectativa de sua concretização num futuro próximo constituem o viés messiânico-sebastianista mais importante na obra, fortalecido pelas demais recorrências temáticas da lenda sebastianista de Pedra Bonita, e possibilitam ainda o estabelecimento de uma analogia mais fértil com a manifestação sebastianista portuguesa. Essas diferentes frentes de atualização do do mito na narrativa conferem ao RPR sua universalidade e a intemporalidade.
