La place du transport semi-collectif dans les mutations des systèmes de mobilité urbaine en Chine : Le cas de Shanghai / The place of paratransit in the mutations of urban mobility systems in China : The case of ShanghaiSun, Ting 05 December 2016 (has links)
In the context of the rapid development of Chinese cities, the expansion of the city and the new areas of developments lead the strong mobility needs. Public transport cannot meet all the demands of movement of citizens. They organize their own services, paratransit, with an approach bottom-up. With the advantages of local adaptation, on-demand service and flexibility, this transport becomes important to their modern lives. However, this transport is out of the traditional transport system. The current legal and institutional framework is not suitable for the operation of this spontaneous transport. Government regulations on this type of transport also show difficult because of lack of suitable frames. In addition, the sustainable urban transport system requires integration of various modes of transport. The relationship between the paratransit and other transportation modes is another key issue. Therefore, we propose approaches to change legal and institutional framework, to improve organization and operation and integrate this mode in the system of urban transport, to create an innovative environment for future of paratransit

Možnosti tramvajového spojení Suchdol - Bohnice / Possibillities of connecting Suchdol and Bohnice by tramNádvorník, Petr January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the possibilities of building a tram track between the Prague districts of Suchdol and Bohnice. It summarizes basic facts about public transport in general and in Prague, mentions the organization of the Prague Integrated Transport system and its financing. The practical part deals with the specific project of the tram track connecting Suchdol and Bohnice using the already designed tracks Kobylisy - Bohnice and Podbaba - Suchdol. Moreover, the nearby Troja area is added to the project. Based on current bus traffic data, new tram lines serving these areas are suggested. At the final stage, the project is complemented by the new P + R parking lots and the possibilities of their use.

Využití controllingu pro porovnání plánované a skutečné výkonnosti podniku a budoucí plánování / Application of Management Control System for Comparison of Planned and Actual Performance of the Company and for Future PlanningKoubek, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
The master's thesis deals with application of Management Control System methods, described in theoretical part of the thesis. In analytical part, those methods are used for comparison of planned performance of individual trucks in the transport company with real performance of those trucks in year 2017. Detected deviations from the plan are further analysed, in order to identify their sources and to formulate corrective measures to eliminate them. This knowledge is put to use in the proposal part, in order to create plan for year 2018, which takes into account established facts and corrective measures from previous year. Finally, part of the plan for year 2018 is compared with real data collected by the company in that period, in order to assess the plan’s accuracy, identify deviations from the plan and their sources.

GEOCASTING-BASED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MESSAGE DELIVERY USING C-V2XAbin Mathew (18823303) 03 September 2024 (has links)

Cellular-Vehicle to Everything or C-V2X refers to vehicles connected to their surroundings using cellular based networks. With the rise of connected vehicles, C-V2X is emerging as one of the major standards for message transmission in automotive scenarios. The project aims to study the feasibility of C-V2X-based message transmission by building a prototype system, named RampCast, for transmitting traffic information from roadside message boards to vehicles. The RampCast framework would also implement geocasting-based algorithms to deliver messages to targeted vehicles. These algorithms focus on improving location-based message delivery using retransmission and prioritization strategies. The messages used for transmission are selected from the 511 web application built by INDOT, which contains the live traffic information for the state of Indiana which includes Travel Time information, Crash Alerts, Construction Alerts etc.

The major objectives of this project consist of building the RampCast prototype, a system implementing C-V2X networks using a Software Defined Radio(SDR). The RampCast system implements a Publisher-subscriber messaging architecture with the primary actors being a Road Side Unit(RSU) and a Vehicle Onboard Unit(OBU). A data store containing traffic messages sourced from the 511 API is set up to be the input to the RampCast system. An end-to-end message transmission pipeline is built that would implement message transmission algorithms on the RSU and OBU side. Finally, the performance of message transmission on the RampCast system is evaluated using a metrics-capturing module. The system was evaluated on a test track in Columbus, Indiana. The performance metrics of the system were captured and analyzed, and the system met the key performance indicators for Latency, Packet Delivery Rate, and Packet Inter-reception Rate. The results indicate the satisfactory performance of the C-V2X standard for message transmission in the RampCast traffic guidance scenarios.

Využití českých a evropských informačních dopravních systémů při přepravě nebezpečných věcí po silnici / Utilization of Czech and European Transport Information Systems for the Road Transport of Dangerous GoodsZapletal, Jan January 2014 (has links)
The topic of my thesis is an application of Czech and European transport systems for shipping dangerous articles by road transport. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first one is pointed to importance of effective legislation in the Czech Republic and the European Union, which is dedicated to shipping the dangerous articles by road transport. Also it regards to risks of accidents and possible ecologic impacts to an environment. This part compares the amount of traffic accidents in the Czech Republic and states of the EU in a frame of ADR. It shows the risks related to shipping the dangerous articles by road transport. The closing part belongs to important elements of safe transportation of dangerous matters. The second part of the thesis analyses current state of shipping information systems in the Czech Republic and in the European Union. There is the analysis, the suggestions for improvement of the systems´ efficiency and its application in the Czech Republic. The closing part belongs to my own project of shipping information system.
