La théologie de la Tentation supralapsaire du récit biblique à laquelle renvoie la tentation morale infralapsaire et qui réunit dans un premier face à face le Principe, l'Homme et le Monde, postule l'identité ontologique de l'Être et de l'Un et situe l'origine de ces crises dans la perte peccamineuse de puissance de l'être à être un par l'Être. Mais l'échec de ce postulat implique la réinterprétation de la Tentation à partir de la différence hénologique de l'Un et de l'Être qui met à jour la faute originelle de la Métaphysique occidentale de dissimulation de l'impuissance de l'être à être un par l'Être et détermine dès lors une eschatologie du Salut au sens d'unification de l'être par l'Un à fin de remédier à ses crises. / How to remedy the metaphysical, theological, moral and political crises of man's being faced with the Principle, himself and the World? The theology of the supralapsarian Temptation in the biblical narrative, to which the infralapsarian moral temptation refers, postulates the ontological identity of Being and the One and places the origin of these crises in the sinful loss of power of being to be one through Being. But the failure of this assumption implies interpreting Temptation anew on the basis of the henological difference of the One and of Being, which unveils the original lapse of Western Metaphysics of concealing the powerlessness of being to be one through Being and consequently establishes an eschatology of Salvation in the sense of unifying being through the One in order to ultimately remedy its crises.

Key words: Jesus Prayer, Gethsemane, the disciples, strength and weakness, vigilance, temptation, anxiety, sadness, exegesis. The work deals with the interpretation of passage from the Gospel of Mark 14,32-42. It should serve to intensified understanding of the biblical passage. The actual interpretation is preceded by textual criticism, suggesting of a possible structure of the text and a description of the circumstances. It also includes a brief comparison with synoptic evangelists Matthew and Luke. The interpretation is structured in accordance with verses. The translation into Czech is cleared when useful. The interpretation is conceived primarily as a comparison of several contemporary exegetical work, but the comments of the Church Fathers are also consulted. In the passage, we can follow two ways to respond to the crisis. Jesus, who faces difficult challenge, when he is fully going to be given over the sinners, confessess his weakness and disinclination before the Father, and finally succumbs the God's will through prayer and gaines solid confidence. Examining strategies for reducing cell phone use while driving: investigating the potential of targeting non-driving participants of cell phone conversations and testing the utility of techniques for reducing habitual responses to cell phones

Anti-distracted driving campaigns, which typically communicate risk information and target driver behavior, may produce limited effects because people tend to underestimate their risk from this behavior (e.g., Schlehofer et al., 2010). Study 1 compared the effects of messages targeting drivers to messages targeting non-drivers in order to examine the potential of discouraging people from having cell phone communication with others who are driving. Some anti-distracted driving campaigns have emphasized the potential harm to both the driver and others, but whether one approach (self-oriented or other-oriented messaging) is more persuasive than the other has not been examined empirically. Study 1 compared messages that were self-oriented, other-oriented, or neutral in terms of who could be affected by cell phone use while driving. Although cell phone use while driving generally is perceived as dangerous, people may make justifications for engaging in the behavior on at least some occasions, and these justifications may override the influence of risk knowledge on behavior. Consistent with inoculation theory (McGuire, 1961), if given the opportunity to practice refuting these justifications in a controlled setting, people will be more likely to defend themselves against justifications to engage in cell phone use while driving. Thus, Study 1 tested the prediction that participation in an inoculation task would reduce the likelihood of cell phone use while driving. Results from Study 1 suggested an advantage of targeting non-driving participants of cell phone conversations to enhance efforts for reducing on-the-road cell phone use. Study 1 also demonstrated a positive effect of inoculation, but primarily for behavior of non-driving participants of cell phone conversations. In addition to overconfidence in ability to avoid risk, habitual tendencies also may impede the influence of risk communication campaigns (Bayer & Campbell, 2012). Study 2 investigated the potential of mindfulness-based and implementation intentions techniques for helping people overcome habitual responses to their cell phone when doing so is inappropriate or inconvenient. Results indicated that pairing mindfulness-based training with risk information may be significantly more effective than risk information alone at inhibiting inappropriate cell phone use.

The theme of the thesis is to look into the conflict of good and evil in the work of Tolkien The Silmarillion from a Biblical perspective. The text of Silmarillion itself is mainly used for identification of themes related to the central one. These themes are further analysed to reveal their origin, namely whether they came from the biblical tradition or some other tradition. The first part is devoted to the Silmarillion itself and provides a brief summary to remind reader of the basic plot line and motifs. The second part addresses the issue of good and evil from a cosmic perspective and its definition. This section also identifies the general principles of this combat taking into account its particular realisations and allows reader to determine the influence of Christianity, Norse mythology, and other sources on Tolkien's work. The third part deals with the conflict between good and evil in relation to particular persons or groups of persons, and describes the way people surrender to the evil and how they can resist it. It makes clear what values Tolkien considered important. In this thesis reader can once again find summarisation of the factors that influenced Tolkien's work.
