The problem with which this study is concerned is that of citing the themes which occur most often in the essays of Maurice Maeterlinck, and of tracing the development of these themes in selected representative essays. Since no detailed study of the essays has appeared since the time of Maeterlinck's death, the major sources of information are the essays themselves.

The diploma thesis is based on the web Prestastyle.com that was founded in the first half of 2010. Initially it was a non-commercial project where users could find one free Prestashop theme that was ready for download and might be applied for eshop. (Prestashop is open-source solution for eshops) Due to personal reasons I stopped to build the project after short time. By this work I want to continue in the original intention. However, there should be more than just free themes. I want to offer also paid themes and modules of high quality so the users get valuable products. I describe the complete process of reconstruction of Prestastyle project -- setting the goals, analyzing of requirements, defining of users. As well, I present my business plan, which includes also a description of competitive sites and shows my advantages. Then I get to the technical solution and the realisation. There are variety of insights to problems I encoutered during the development. At the end I describe testing of the project and themes, I analyze results and compare them with the set objectives. I evaluate the final results and benefits of the work.

Mikhail Bulgakov's preoccupation with evil in Master i Margarita is set against the background of spiritual barrenness which is outlined in the essays of Vekhi (1909) as dominating Russian radical thought at the beginning of the 20th century. The themes of loss of spirituality, utilitarian faith or atheism, man-godhood, split personality, lack of faith in people and ethical inaptitude, as depicted in Vekhi, re-emerge in Bulgakov's novel more than two decades after the publication of the essays. The devil's genealogy is examined in relation to the sources which Bulgakov is known to have used while writing the novel. The study of the devil's role reveals that, in the case of the conformist characters, Woland appears as a manifestation of the irrational and metaphysical aspects of existence while, in the case of the ordinary Moscow citizens, he advocates a more common sense, rational attitude to life than that which relies on magic and witchcraft. The writer's dilemma in a philistine, authoritarian society is examined through the phenomenon of split personality (Ivan Bezdomny versus the Master). Throughout the thesis C. G. Jung's ideas are employed to illustrate how Bulgakov shapes the myth which gives meaning to the life of a writer whose work might never be published. The Pontius Pilate story is shown to contain the philosophical kernel of the novel; in accordance with Jungian ideology moral absolutes are conceived by Bulgakov, not as opposites, but as part of a paradoxical whole. The joint immortality of Pontius Pilate and Jeshua serves as a most explicit metaphor of this view which is echoed in Woland's question: what would happen to good if there were no evil?Yet, as a whole Master i Margarita must be seen to demonstrate that there may be justification, but there is no consolation, for a person who turns away from truth.

A coherent reading of the Solomon Narratives in First Kings is obstructed by a variety of textual contradictions and uncertainties.  Such difficulties can be approached through a variety of interpretive and critical schemes.  Using a literary/stylistic approach, the difficulties are perceived as components of a larger narrative format, of which an ambiguous tone towards Solomon is integral.  This ambiguity is maintained by the presence of two literary forces in the text.  The first is an overt presence of Deuteronomic values supplied through various agencies.  Larger Deuteronomic themes of blessing are situated in the text which herald Solomon as one who achieved Deuteronomic privileges for his kingdom.  Other Deuteronomic principles are dispersed through a seven-fold selection of Deuteronomic terms, placed in a context of contingency and exhortation.  The chiastic arrangement of these Deuteronomic word-clusters highlights national solidarity and contingence. The cumulative force of these Deuteronomic elements contributes a pro-Solomonic tone to the text.  The second literary force is a sustained ambiguity which is provided through a variety of stylistic devices designed to subvert a purely one-dimensional favourable vision of Solomon.  The consequent ambiguity is not an autonomous feature within 1-2 Kings, however.  Instead, the ambiguous tone towards Solomon and his accomplishments provides the thematic and narrative framework by which Josiah, Solomon’s narrative foil, will be later presented.  The accounts of these two monarchs are connected through a complex of literary and thematic elements common to both accounts, one of which is the reissuing of the Deuteronomic word-clusters found in the Solomon Narratives.

The themes of sensual experience, nature, and mysticism in James Dickey's poetry are examined. Dickey's "Poems 1957- 1967" and "The Eye-Beaters, Blood, Victory, Madness, Buckhead and Mercy" are the primary sources for the poems. Selections from a decade of Dickey criticism are also represented. Dickey presents a wide spectrum of attitudes toward acceptance of the physical body, communion with nature, and transcendence of the human condition, but the poems exhibit sufficient uniformity to allow thematic generalizations to be made.
