The aim of thesis is to identify factors for future tourism development in Decin region. The theoretical part deals with general definition of tourism its position in the national economy and also outlines the importance of tourism for the regional and microregional development in Czech Republic. The practical part is focused on tourism in Decin region. Firstly, the basic and supporting infrastructure of tourism is defined by description, the areas of possible further development of the region are identified and the economic impact of tourism on the selected area is hypothesized. Consequently, the range of accommodation facilities and services for tourists in Decin region are evaluated by the questionnaire survey. The representative sample of 13 facilities, ie 10% of total, is randomly selected of the 131 providers of accommodation services. The structure of facilities and the quality of its services is identified by the synthesis of the data. In conclusion, the results may help us to determinate the temporary situation in accommodation services, to indentify the main barriers of the tourist development and to suggest possible improvements and funding for further tourism development in Decin region.

This project will markedly contribute to the development of the town of Horní Stropnice and as well as the whole South Bohemian Region in the area of tourist trade. Tourist trade is one of the key areas of the economic developement of the region. From the findings of the particular chapters of this paper it appears, that necessary organisational, technical and financial conditions for the implementation of the given capital assets and for consequent running of the planned project facilities will be created. The implemented project and its operation will generate a trading income exceeding the costs.

O resultado desse processo envolve profundas transformações no espaço e na sociedade, criando territórios para atender aos interesses do mercado turístico e objetos estranhos ao lugar. De forma planejada e por meio de estratégias voltadas para o crescimento econômico, o espaço é transformado em palco de ações que reforçam seu caráter imaginário, onde tudo está relacionado à condição de mercadoria, seja por meio da criação de projetos hoteleiros e empreendimentos imobiliários destinados à segunda residência, ou pela formação de mão de obra especializada, ou até mesmo, por conta do surgimento de empreendimentos comerciais. Essas ações são novas formas de produção capazes de introduzir ideias e valores, além de uma grande quantidade de objetos estranhos à paisagem, todos integrados na relação lugar - mundo, ainda que de forma segregadora e seletiva. Neste sentido, o propósito desta tese é compreender as transformações do espaço do litoral piauiense em função da introdução e desenvolvimento dos serviços ligados ao turismo. A metodologia consta de análise documental e pesquisa bibliográfica; observação; entrevista semiestruturada/aberta e questionários fechados, aplicados a gestores e trabalhadores, respectivamente, dos estabelecimentos de hospedagem e alimentação e questionários fechados aplicados a moradores dos municípios do Polo Costa do Delta. A aceleração das transformações de caráter territorial decorrentes do turismo em certos pontos do litoral do Nordeste brasileiro tem produzido novas formas de organização do espaço geográfico, com amplas repercussões socioeconômicas, políticas e culturais, que devem ser objeto da preocupação dos agentes responsáveis pelo planejamento e gestão do turismo. Esta tese é, pois, oriunda de uma reflexão sobre caminhos seguidos pelos órgãos público e privado, enquanto agentes do turismo, responsáveis pelo desenvolvimento de projetos nos municípios do litoral piauiense e que devem agir a partir de ações que dinamizem (e privilegiem) os interesses dos moradores locais, oportunizando sua inserção no mercado de trabalho mediante a qualificação da mão de obra local, bem como direcionando projetos para romper os fatores que limitam a inserção do litoral piauiense no mercado do turismo nacional e no internacional, com a dinamização dos fluxos, criação de novas conectividades e melhoria da infraestrutura. Este trabalho recomenda algumas proposições, como valorização do desenvolvimento pela justiça social para a conquista de melhores condições de vida e atendimento das necessidades da população local e a valorização do turismo de eventos para suprir os efeitos da sazonalidade do turismo de lazer. Assim, esta tese constitui documento geográfico que se esforça em apresentar a empirização de conceitos atinentes ao turismo, na modalidade Sol e Praia, que se realiza no litoral do Piauí. / Tourism has been set up as an activity able to perform the insertion and economic rehabilitation of depressed areas. The result of this process involves profound changes in environment and society, creating territories to meet the interests of the tourist market and unusual objects of the place. In a planned way and through strategies for economic growth, the space is transformed into a place of actions that strengthen its imaginative character, where everything is related to the condition of merchandise, either through the creation of hotel projects and real estate developments designed for second residences, or by the formation of skilled labor, or even because of the emergence of business ventures. They are new forms of production able to introduce ideas and values, besides a lot of unusual objects of the landscape, all integrated in the interaction experience, even though in a segregated and selective way. In this sense, the purpose of this thesis is to understand the transformations of the environment of the Piauí coast due to the introduction and development of services related to tourism. The methodology consists of document analysis and bibliographic research; observation; semi-structured/ open interview and multiple-choice questionnaires applied to managers and workers, respectively, of the lodging and food establishments and multiple-choice questionnaires applied to inhabitants of the towns of Polo Costa do Delta. The acceleration of the territorial transformations as a result of tourism in certain costal parts of the Brazilian Northeast has produced new forms of organization of the geographical environment, with broad socio-economic, political and cultural repercussions that should be the object of concern of the agents responsible for the planning and management of tourism. This thesis is, therefore, derived from a reflection about initiatives of public and private agencies, as tourism agents, responsible for developing projects in towns of the Piauí coast, and who should act based on actions that stimulate (and prioritize) the interests of local inhabitants, providing opportunities for their integration into the labor market through the qualification of local labor, as well as directing projects to break factors that limit the insertion of the Piauí coast into the national and international tourist market, with the stimulation of the tourist flow, creation of new connectivity and improvement of infrastructure. This study recommends a number of propositions, such as enhancement of development through social justice for the achievement of better living conditions and addressing the needs of the local population and the use of events to supply the effects of seasonality of leisure tourism. Thus, this thesis is considered as a geographical document that strives to present the empiricization of concepts concerning tourism, in the Sun and Sand modality, which takes place on the coast of Piauí.

The aim of the thesis is to identify and analyze the utilization and implementation of the existing infrastructure support for rural tourism in the Czech Republic on the example of Rural Development Program of the CR, actions III.1.3. The theoretical part deals with the definition of tourism infrastructure, tourism as one of the factors of regional development and the potential to promote tourism with a focus on its infrastructure. The practical part is focused on promoting tourism within the Rural Development Program of the CR. At the micro level there are assessed subsidies for the period 2007-2010. The source for analyzing is the data obtained from publicly available databases of the State Agricultural Intervention Fund and interviews with representatives of the regional offices of the intermediate body (SAIF). In this thesis descriptive, comparative and analytical methods are used. The character of the gained data is both primary and secondary. The main contribution of this work, based on the findings, is evaluation of the use of subsidies to support the tourism infrastructure within the Rural Development Programme of the CR - Encouragement of touristic activities during the 1st half of the current programming period.

La investigación busca la planificación del territorio considerando el espacio natural, la dinámica de su ecosistema y la infraestructura turística en lo que convergen varios aspectos como sociales, económicos, medioambientales y sobre todo de infraestructuras sostenibles con dinamismo, frente a los impactos negativos generados en su patrimonio natural. Por tal motivo, la investigación inicia a partir del reconocimiento de la situación actual de la zona reserva de Chancay Baños, para así conocer su realidad y potencial turístico. También se hace un estudio de la dinámica turística, como de sistemas turísticos para observar su comportamiento y dinamismo del sistema vial que conecta el espacio natural con los centros poblados para dar mayor soporte a la red turística; con el fin de proponer un sistema turístico para reactivar, integrar y dar identidad a la zona de reserva, para llegar a proponer una infraestructura turística que integre, potencialice y de soporte a todo el sistema turístico. La metodología aplicada es cualitativa, definiendo una categoría descriptiva se enfoca en el estudio de la reserva y su ecosistema evaluando sus potencialidades, deficiencias que delimitaran las estrategias y lineamientos en la propuesta final de la investigación para posteriormente proponer un master plan turístico. Todos estos valores ambientales, culturales y paisajísticos nos dan potencialidades turísticas no solo en el ámbito natural sino en desarrollo social, histórico y desarrollo vial, los cuales se tiene en cuenta al momento de plasmar las estrategias proyectuales a lo largo del territorio limitado, para culminar en la propuesta de un balneario turístico. / The research seeks the planning of the territory considering the natural space, the dynamics of its ecosystem and the tourist infrastructure in which several aspects converge such as social, economic, environmental and above all of sustainable infrastructures with dynamism, in the face of the negative impacts generated in its natural heritage. For this reason, the investigation begins from the recognition of the current situation of the Chancay Baños reserve area, in order to know its reality and tourism potential. A study is also made of the tourist dynamics, and of tourist systems to observe their behavior and dynamism of the road system that connects the natural space and the populated centers to give greater support to the tourist network; in order to propose a tourist system to reactivate, integrate and give identity to the reserve area, to come up with proposing a tourist infrastructure that integrates, enhances and supports the entire tourist system. The applied methodology is qualitative, defining a descriptive category focuses on the study of the reserve and its ecosystem, evaluating its potentialities, deficiencies that will delimit the strategies and guidelines in the final research proposal to later propose a tourism master plan. All these environmental, cultural and landscape values give us tourist potential not only in the natural environment but also in social, historical and road development, which are taken into account when shaping the project strategies throughout the limited territory, to culminate in the proposal of a tourist thermal spa.

This thesis deals with the comprehensive development of accompanying infrastructure for sports and recreational activities. The aim is to analyze the supply and demand of tourism in Hlubocko area. An increased emphasis is placed on analysis accompanying infrastructure for leisure time activities. At the end of this work are presented a suggestions and recommendations on modernization of accompanying infrastructure to improve comfort, safety and technical standard of sports and recreational facilities in the investigated area. Furthermore is presented design of ideal tourism product with regard to the requirements and wishes of visitors, based on research and structured interviews.

This thesis focuses on support of tourism, namely grants of private entities. There are described ex post assessments of Rural Development Programme (RDP) 2007-2013 impacts in this thesis. The programme focused on accommodation and sports devices in the region Jihočeský kraj (CZ). The influence of the support and the utilization range of new services are analysed here. There is measured a success rate of support in conclusion and there is also given an advice, how to improve the support efficiency.

The main target of this diploma thesis is to confirm the hypothesis that the project "Ski resort Lipno regional winter sport centre" has an unquestionable and a region wide impact on social and economical development of the municipality Lipno nad Vltavou as well as on the whole micro region Lipensko. Within the assessment of social and economical costs and benefits and based on a set of methods used to evaluate projects of ROP NUTS II Southwest which was also a financial source of this project, it was possible to prove the existence of significant and positive impacts on social and economical development of both municipality Lipno nad Vltavou and the whole micro region Lipensko (new jobs, increase revenue of other tourism subjects in this area etc.). Total social and economic effect of the investment is financially positive. It was confirmed by means of the cost- benefit analysis. Present value (PV) is 330 million CZK, net present value (NPV) of the project is about 133 million CZK. Economic rate of return (ERR) reached 11.47 %, profitability index (NPV/I) reached 0.67 CZK net discounted profit per 1 CZK invested in 8 year payback. All these values are positive and it is possible to state that this project has a great value added and it brings good societal benefits.
