Nesta pesquisa o esporte é abordado como prática cultural capaz de mobilizar a subjetivação dos seus praticantes. Desta forma, jovens atletas considerando suas experiências vividas, principalmente no esporte, se orientam existencialmente, ou seja, eles se valem das experiências no esporte para tomar decisões que nortearão o decorrer de sua vida. A partir disso, o presente estudo almeja explorar o horizonte de experiências vivenciadas por esportistas adolescentes buscando a compreensão de como eles passam por momentos decisivos, sendo inteira e publicamente envolvidos por suas atividades esportivas. Ou seja, o propósito deste estudo é identificar e compreender o horizonte de experiências vividas contextualizadas na prática esportiva de jovens atletas pertencentes a categorias de base de quatro modalidades esportivas (futebol, basquete, atletismo e tênis). Adota-se, para isso, uma atitude investigativa que contemple essa temática enquanto processo cultural, buscando ir além dos conceitos e fatores já pré-estabelecidos. Com efeito, o método fenomenológico na perspectiva clássica atinge, como resultado, um caráter descritivo-estrutural, em decorrência de um processo rigoroso de coleta e análise dos dados. Esse processo perpassa por procedimentos conhecidos como Entrevista Fenomenológica e Cruzamento Intencional. Estes consistem em um percurso que tem, em um primeiro momento, a intenção de apreender a experiência singular de cada sujeito, por relato guiado, em primeira pessoa; em seguida, contrastar estes relatos experienciais numa análise que explicite os elementos intencionais que estruturem a experiência vivida em questão. Por conseguinte, foram efetuadas e transcritas 24 entrevistas, com atletas pertencentes a categorias de base das modalidades citadas. Os resultados apontam para alguns aspectos predominantes entre os praticantes destas modalidades, como a constante tensão eminente da negociação que circunscreve o cotidiano destes jovens atletas por trafegar entre compromissos, treinamentos e lazer. / This research treats sports as a cultural practice that mobilizes the subjectivation of its practitioners. The results show some predominant aspects, such as the constant eminent tension of the negotiation that circumscribes the daily life of these young athletes by traveling between commitments, training and leisure.

Eles protagonizaram o apogeu do basquetebol brasileiro nos anos 50 e 60. Representaram o país vitoriosamente em diversas competições, sendo as conquistas dos títulos mundiais em 1959 e 1963, e as medalhas de bronze olímpicas em 1960 e 1964, os feitos mais emblemáticos. Mas embora desfrutassem de certa notoriedade por estes feitos, não foram isentos das implicações do amadorismo esportivo. A profissionalização da carreira atlética ainda era uma realidade distante para eles, e a dedicação ao esporte, para que pudesse ser legítima, tinha que ser majoritariamente voluntária e gratuita. Essas e outras configurações influenciaram decisivamente a forma como os bicampeões mundiais de basquetebol geriram suas carreiras e passaram pela transição respectivamente. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi trazer elementos para a reflexão e compreensão do fenômeno transição de carreira no esporte, analisando os significados e características deste processo por meio das narrativas biográficas dos bicampeões mundiais Wlamir Marques, Amaury Pasos, Rosa Branca, Antônio Sucar, Carlos Massoni, Luiz Claudio Menon, Jatyr Schall, Waldyr Boccardo, Friedrich Fritz e Vitor Mirshawka. Analisadas a luz do modelo de adaptação humana à transição de Schlossberg e das considerações teóricas sobre a transição de carreira no esporte, as narrativas sugeriram que a saída do papel de atleta, bem como o processo de mudança para outras esferas da vida, foram experiências decisivamente marcadas pelo momento histórico ao qual os bicampeões pertenciam. Nos tempos de amadorismo o apoio financeiro à carreira atlética era escasso, condição que requereu dos atletas a adoção de uma estratégia de gestão de carreira atlética que conjugasse prática esportiva com formação acadêmica e emprego remunerado. Esse trânsito contínuo entre carreira atlética e outros interesses estreitou a relação dos bicampeões com a vida cotidiana de maneira que seus términos e transições de carreira puderam ocorrer sem maiores dificuldades. As situações estruturantes dessa qualidade de transição caracterizam-se pela concorrência de atividades determinando a tomada de decisão pela priorização de interesses; pela possibilidade de mover-se para dentro ou dar continuidade à vida profissional dentro do contexto esportivo como professor, técnico ou gestor; pela possibilidade de realização em outras esferas da vida, e, por fim, pela presença de sistemas de suporte informais (família e amigos). As narrativas biográficas alertaram ainda para a dificuldade enfrentada pelos bicampeões no que se refere à conciliação da carreira atlética com a vida para além do esporte, bem como para a ausência de sistemas de suporte formais (apoio institucional, especializado, previdência social para atletas) para a transição e vida pós-atleta / They played leading roles in the heyday of Brazilian basketball in the 50s and 60s. They represented the country triumphantly in a range of competitions, the most emblematic of their achievements being victories at the world championships in 1959 and 1963, and the Olympic bronze medals in 1960 and 1964. But although they enjoyed a certain level of notoriety as a result of these achievements, they weren\'t exempt from the implications of being amateur sportsmen. The athletic career as a profession was still a distant reality for them, and in order to be legitimate, their dedication to the sport had to be overwhelmingly voluntary and unpaid. These and other aspects decisively influenced both the way in which the two-time basketball champions managed their careers, and how they went through transitions, respectively. The objective of this research was to provide elements for the reflection and understanding of the phenomenon of career transition in sport, analyzing the significance and characteristics of this process through the narrative biographies of the two-time world champions Wlamir Marques, Amaury Pasos, Rosa Branca, Antônio Sucar, Carlos Massoni, Luiz Claudio Menon, Jatyr Schall, Waldyr Boccardo, Friedrich Fritz and Vitor Mirshawka. Analyzed in the light of Schlossberg\'s model of human adaptation and transition, and the theoretical reflections on career transition in sport, the narratives suggested that withdrawal from the role of an athlete, as well as the process of shifting to other spheres of life, were experiences decisively marked by the historical moment to which the two-time champions belonged. In this period where sport was an amateur affair, financial support for their athletic careers was scarce, a condition which required the athletes to adopt a strategy for managing their career which would unite sport training with education and gainful employment. This continuous compromise between athletic career and other interests gave the two-time champions such a close relationship with everyday life that the terminations and transitions of their careers were able to occur without great difficulties. The situations that give rise to this aspect of the transition are characterized by a multitude of activities making it necessary to prioritize interests; by the possibility of staying within or continuing with professional life within a sporting context as an instructor, coach or manager; by the possibility of success in other spheres of life, and, lastly, by the presence of informal support systems (family and friends). The narrative biographies brought further to light the difficulty faced by the two-time champions with regard to the reconciliation of their athletic careers with the world outside of sport, as well as the absence of formal support systems (institutional, specialized support, welfare for athletes) for the transition and life after sport

The transition is the time through which the individual is changing the settings of his work, is coming out of an activity towards another with different characteristics and requirements; when there is a change, which can be deep or not in the professional paper. The present study aims to analyze the reasons for the career transition to university teaching, the career anchors and more prevalent motivational types in the researched public. A literature review was conducted to identify the key concepts of career, types of career, transition, personal values, challenges and opportunities of university teaching. This feature research is exploratory and the type is a case study with business professors in a higher education institution in the city of São Paulo. The instruments used are: Questionnaire to identify personal and professional profile, as well as reasons for the transition to university teaching career; questionnaire to identify the career anchor and the motivational type of each participant. The data analysis is qualitative and quantitative. The results indicate that the main reasons for the transition were found the opportunity rise and "old dream". The career anchor more present is Service and Dedication to a Cause and the motivational type Universalism. It is found at the end of the work that the results coincide with the characteristics of career transition particularities and characteristics inherent to university teaching, studied in this work / É cada vez mais natural que os profissionais façam transições em suas carreiras, ou seja, mudança na natureza do trabalho, nas atribuições, atividades e responsabilidades, que configurem uma mudança de identidade. A transição é o momento pelo qual o indivíduo está mudando as configurações de seu trabalho, está saindo de uma atividade rumo a outra com características e exigências diferentes; quando há uma mudança, podendo ser profunda ou não, no papel profissional. O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar as razões da transição de carreira para a docência universitária, as âncoras de carreira e tipos motivacionais mais predominantes no público pesquisado. Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico para identificar os principais conceitos de carreira, tipos de carreira, transição, valores pessoais, desafios e oportunidades da docência universitária. Esta pesquisa é de caráter exploratório e o tipo é um estudo de caso com professores de administração em uma instituição de ensino superior da cidade de São Paulo. Os instrumentos utilizados são: questionário para identificar perfil pessoal e profissional, bem como razões para a transição à carreira docente universitária; questionário para identificar a âncora de carreira e o tipo motivacional de cada participante. A análise de dados é qualitativa e quantitativa. Os resultados apontaram que as principais razões encontradas para a transição foram o surgimento de oportunidade e sonho antigo . A âncora de carreira mais presente é Serviço e Dedicação a uma Causa e o tipo motivacional Universalismo. É constatado no final da pesquisa que os resultados coincidem com as particularidades da transição de carreira e as características inerentes à docência universitária, estudados neste trabalho

A pesquisa é de caráter qualitativo e exploratório, utilizando-se o método de investigação de Estória de Vida, por meio de entrevistas em profundidade com três empreendedores com formação universitária em cursos técnico-científicos. Identificaram-se experiências durante toda a vida do indivíduo capazes de desenvolver características e conhecimentos inerentes a um empreendedor, e que ao longo de suas carreiras pressionaram uma mudança de suas escolhas profissionais iniciais. / The present study search to understand how professionals graduated in technical-scientific courses, which initial career choice was thus not entrepreneurship, were instead taken to this transition along time and became entrepreneurs. The present study starts from the principle that a career choice is not the result of only one but of a complex whole of experience, that are related to each other during all the development of individual’s life. This research has a qualitative and exploratory character, making use of Story of Life method, through deep interviews with three entrepreneurs undergraduate in technical-scientific courses. Experiences along all the individual's life have been identified. These experiences were able to develop entrepreneur’s characteristics and knowledge on them, and that during their lives made pressure for a change on their initial career choices. These experiences were related within five groups of influence: familiar, personal, academic and professional, moment of transition and motivations.

Companies, in general, have faced difficulty in this regard, since there is a shortage of IT professionals with adequate profile and qualification. It has also been observed an issue namely ‘turnaway’, situation in which IT professionals make career transition to another functional area. Then, the main target of this work is to identify, through a Delphi study, the main motivations that lead IT professionals to migrate to other areas. Besides, this research also sought to obtain a rank by relevance of the antecedents of the career transition to other functional areas, and to compare the results with that presented in previous studies on this subject. Thus, the Delphi group was formed by 35 IT experts, with relevant experience in the field. The results accrued from this research unveil that the need for professional growth, the need to acquire further experiences and skills to remain attractive to employers, the area of activity in IT, prior and conscious development for career transition and exhaustion with work in the IT area are factors that have relevant impact on turnaway intent. On the other hand, low identification with the IT profession, age and gender are factors that have a low impact on turnaway intention. / Dada a grande demanda das empresas por profissionais de tecnologia da informação (TI) devidamente capacitados para que a área atenda às necessidades do negócio, torna-se relevante que as empresas consigam compor, reter e motivar suas equipes para o adequado desempenho de suas funções. As empresas, de modo geral, têm enfrentado dificuldades nesse sentido, uma vez que há uma falta de profissionais com perfil e qualificação adequada. Aliado a isso, tem sido observado o fenômeno denominado turnaway, situação em que o profissional faz transição de carreira para outra área funcional. O objetivo principal deste trabalho é, por meio de uma abordagem Delphi, identificar as principais motivações que levam profissionais de TI a mudar de área. Buscou-se também obter uma classificação, por relevância, dos antecedentes à transição de carreira para fora da TI, e cotejar o resultado encontrado com o apresentado em estudos anteriores sobre o tema em questão. Assim, participaram do painel Delphi 35 profissionais de TI, com expressiva experiência na área. Como resultado, o estudo mostrou que a busca de crescimento profissional, o desejo por colecionar novas experiências e habilidades para se manterem atrativos para os empregadores, a área de atuação na TI, a capacitação prévia e consciente para essa transição e a exaustão com o trabalho são fatores que têm considerável impacto na intenção de turnaway. Por outro lado, a baixa identificação com a carreira de TI, a crise de meia-idade e o gênero são fatores que têm baixo impacto sobre a transição de carreira da TI para outras áreas.

Além dessa questão, observa-se que apesar das boas oportunidades de emprego no setor, a evasão nos cursos superiores de TI tem atingido patamares altíssimos, agravando ainda mais o problema da escassez por talentos qualificados. Assim, esta pesquisa estuda a migração dos profissionais de TI para outras áreas, fenômeno denominado turnaway, problema que agrava ainda mais a situação em que se encontra o setor de tecnologia da informação no mercado brasileiro, requerendo uma solução a curto prazo e merecendo uma exploração e discussão em profundidade. O objetivo principal deste estudo é, portanto, identificar as principais razões que explicam a intenção dos profissionais de TI em abandonar a área. Assim, foi realizada uma pesquisa explanatória, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e investigação empírica, aplicando-se questionários disponibilizados eletronicamente a profissionais de TI de diferentes empresas e áreas de atuação. A amostra utilizada teve 323 respondentes e os dados obtidos foram analisados estatisticamente via modelagem de equações estruturais. Como resultado, esta pesquisa mostrou que a transição de carreira na área de tecnologia da informação está intimamente associada ao dinamismo natural da área, às condições de trabalho que geram fadiga física e mental, e às restrições de crescimento profissional na área técnica, levando os profissionais de TI a uma insatisfação com a área que os faz buscar capacitação gerencial e novas experiências de trabalho, de modo a ampliar sua rede de relacionamento interpessoal e abrir oportunidades em diferentes campos de trabalho, possibilitando, desta forma, a migração dos mesmos para outras áreas que oferecem melhores condições de trabalho, maior reconhecimento e possibilidade de crescimento profissional. / The lack of professionals with qualification and profile in information technology (IT) is a difficulty faced by companies in general, which increasingly invest in IT and are significantly dependent on and influenced by technology. Besides this issue, it is observed that despite good employment opportunities in the sector, the evasion in higher IT has reached very high levels, further aggravating the shortage of qualified talent. Thus, this research studies the migration of professionals to other areas, a phenomenon called turnaway, a problem that exacerbates the situation of the information technology sector in the Brazilian market, requiring a short term solution and deserving exploration and in-depth discussion. The main objective of this study is therefore to identify the main reasons for the intention of IT professionals to leave the area. Thus, an explanatory survey was conducted, through literature and empirical research, applying questionnaires electronically available to professionals of different companies and fields. The sample had 323 respondents and the data were statistically analyzed via structural equation modeling. As a result, this research showed that the career transition in information technology area is closely associated with the natural dynamism of the area, working conditions that cause physical and mental fatigue and restrictions for professional growth in the technical area, leading IT professionals dissatisfaction with the area that makes them seek managerial training and new work experiences in order to expand their network of interpersonal relationship and open up opportunities in different fields of work, allowing thus the migration of them to other areas that offer better working conditions, greater recognition and opportunity for professional growth.
