Henriksson-Krusell, Jeanette January 2012 (has links)
SummaryI work at upper secondary school, Vehicles The program - Transport Technology where I participates in the education of pupils to the professional drivers on the heavy lorry and even bus. Min questionnaire survey are delimited to the solely truck drivers. I experience that there missing relevant feedback from professional drivers where there is clear if professional drivers follows the they rules and regulations as included in their professional business. This survey illuminates to what extent vocational the driver in working life follows the applicable rules and regulations. It illuminates the what shortcomings that are available, within what area and in which contexts these are. This can in my work lead up to if something in education needs to change or if there front comes something area that we would need focus more on in our training of professional drivers on the heavy truck. The purpose is to see if it needed one omvärderande of the training which shows where or on what is more focus in education needed. How we can improve the training of professional drivers and thereby also increase road safety. My investigation is of empirical and quantitative character. Time required is a semester with halvfarts students.I have used Me of questionnaire substrate from professional drivers who been active various long time, and taken note of already existing facts. The areas who the survey treats through survey questions are load fuse, traffic rules, driving and rest times, laws-such as for instance overload and smuggling, competence, Jurisdiction, continuing education and health.Min question at issue was if vocational driver follows the regulations and rules which fall within his professional practice? And the answer must on the large the entire become, - yes.Sen, there are areas as we can improve, and it was course my purpose to try to get front if needed one omvärderande of the training which shows where or on what is more focus in education needed.Through my investigation have I come to the conclusion that we in the education of professional drivers need to add even more time, and as I see it, even more practical use of tachographs and driving and rest provisions.I have also come to a conclusion that we need add still more focus on load calculations and goods handling. My investigation shows even on that a professional drivers today actually have a extensive training and usually with special concentration for just that purpose they perform. This I think feels safe and it contributes to status-enhancing of the profession and hopefully one professional pride of chauffeur.

Robust Torque Control for Automated Gear Shifting in Heavy Duty Vehicles / Robust Momentreglering vid Automatiserad Växling i Tunga Fordon

Abrahamsson, Henrik, Carlson, Peter January 2008 (has links)
<p>In an automated manual transmission it is desired to have zero torque in the transmission when disengaging a gear. This minimizes the oscillations in the driveline which increases the comfort and makes the speed synchronization easier. The automated manual transmission system in a Scania truck, called Opticruise, uses engine torque control to achieve zero torque in the transmission. In this thesis different control strategies for engine torque control are proposed in order to minimize the oscillations in the driveline and increase the comfort during a gear shift. A model of the driveline is developed in order to evaluate the control strategies. The main focus was to develop controllers that are easy to implement and that are robust enough to be used in different driveline configurations. This means that model dependent control strategies are not considered.A control strategy with a combination of a feedback from the speed difference between the output shaft speed and the wheel speed, and a feedforward with a linear ramp, showed very good performance in both simulations and tests in trucks. The amplitude of the oscillations in the output shaft speed after neutralengagement are halved compared to the results from the existing method in Scania trucks. The new concept is also more robust against initial conditions and time delay estimations.</p>
