This thesis deals with horse tourism and the current situation of horse tourism in Žďár nad Sázavou. The practical part is devoted to the research of identifying possibilities and equipment of the stables in the selected area and which activities in connection with horses are the most used and demanded ones by the public. The survey was conducted by using the questionnaires. The first questionnaire was created for stables in the selected area. The second questionnaire was dedicated to the public. The results are processed graphically and verbally. The aim of the thesis is to propose some possibilities of development for this type of tourism based on the results of the questionnaires. The proposals for development options of horse tourism in the selected area are described in the next part. In conclusion, it is a brief evaluation and commenting of the whole thesis.

In my thesis, I focused on the issue of equestrian tourism in the region of the Slovak-Moravian Carpathians. The thesis also deals with the overall question of equestrian tourism, its problems, real facts and conflicts with other interests and sports. Furthermore, the work analyzesthe current situation of already existing horse trails in the sphere of interest in The Czech and Slovak Republic. The second part identifies the problems of horse tourism of the concerned area where I suggest the appropriate riding paths including links to already implemented bridleways, taking into consideration all aspects of that territory.

This core work is a mutual comparison approach, which relates to the internal character and motives of the three specific forms of travel: pilgrimage, wandering and hiking. They are presented in chronological order, with an emphasis on comparison, resources, development and continuity of individual approaches. Regarded as the basic motive of these three ways which one sets out of the home; the author considers the human need for change, a desire for knowledge and an escape from everyday life, which are presented in more detail. In addition, being discussed is the concept of looking at these forms of travel as a kind of ritual transition when a person away from their normal environment becomes an individual that is on the border, detached from his past and his future already changed thanks to the newly acquired experiences and expertise - a man who returns is never the same. Pilgrimage, wandering and hiking are presented as activities in which by their own way often enable an individual to abandon everyday life. The level and manner of this work are expressed via a culturally and historical contingent and subject to further transformation. The thesis presents an analysis of the current status of rural tourism in the "Za Moravú" microregion and the possibility of its development. The first part of the thesis clarifies the theoretical background and the basic concept of the topic and, at the same time, it describes the current situation in the microregion as far as rural turism is con-cerned and the services to tourists as well as local inhabitants. The second part of the thesis analyses a questionnaire survey which focused on the level of satisfaction of the tourists and local people with rural tourism. The final part of the thesis offers a draft of a project for grants from the European Union funds which would help to increase the quality of rural tourism and proposes several measures for the development of rural tou-rism in the "Za Moravú" region.

The thesis addresses the recreational potential in the cadastral Výšovice. The first part deals with the topic of countryside, rural tourism, rural development and highlights the current state of landscape planning. The study informs the reader about the options how to spend leisure time in the tourist area, it depicts the natural givens, historical land use and it describes the local community. As a part of the thesis, a survey among local residents and a questionnaire intended for municipal council were prepared and carried out. Effort has been devoted to evaluate satisfaction of local residents with current recreation options in the selected area and to uncover their uttered wishes in order to further develop options for recreation. Utilizing the survey, SWOT analysis and field research, the study designs measures, which aim is to increase the recreational potential of the village. Technical support for particular components as well as estimation of indicative costs has been prepared for the selected measures. To provide a visual depiction of the suggested measures, those are displayed in graphical enclosures attached to the thesis.

The subject of my thesis is the creating project of cooperation between the Czech Republic and Chile. Whereas the both countries, more or less, they grow grapes and offer opportunities in wine tourism, the proposed project will involve just in this area. The work is divided into two parts. The first one is a literature review, which focuses on aspects of international cooperation among Latin America countries, approaches to cooperation from the perspective of the European Union and the methods for evaluating the effectiveness of projects. Part of the literature review is also the current situation of viticulture, winemaking and wine tourism in both countries. The main source of information is special literature. Then there is the own work including evaluation of examples of successfully implemented projects in wine tourism, comparison of the two countries in the field of wine tourism and the proposed project of cooperation for the Czech Republic and Chile in this area. At last but not least, there will be given information from the survey.

This thesis is based on the development of rural tourism and agro-tourism in the Vysocina area. In the tourism industry there are new trends that are mindful of protecting and taking care of the environment, among this being, rural tourism, agro-tourism and eco agro-tourism. The first part is based on theoretical foundations concerning the tourist industry, its services, subjects, rural tourism, agro-tourism and business. The research part is aimed at the demands in agro-tourism. It discovers the ways in which respondents prefer to spend their leisure time, which part of their time is spent in the Czech Republic, as well as observing the respondents´ knowledge of offered possibilities in rural tourism and agro-tourism. Preferences in accommodation and catering, are also observed. A further part of this thesis is dedicated to the theme of doing business in the area of agro-tourism. The focus point of this work is dedicated to two selected Eco farms in the Vysocina area.

This graduate thesis is focused on a tourism issue in Greece. Due to the wide spectrum of the existing product, is this thesis concentrate on only one segment, the excursions tour. In the first section of this thesis are defined the most important terms in the field of tourism. The following parts characterized the chosen destination, which is Greece republic. In the next part of this graduate thesis is analyzed the current supply of excursion tours. The four excursion tours are designed based on the results from previous analyze. These designed excursion tours supposed to fill the gap on the tourism market and to enhance current supply.

Currently, the tourism industry is one of the most dynamically developing forms of international trade in services. The development of international tourism leads to the development of economic infrastructure. Thus, international tourism is seen as one of the most promising industries. The specifics of the tourism as a sector of the economy lies in the fact that it combines in itself a number of sectors, such as transport, communications, hotels, banks, entertainment, etc. In some countries, tourism is one of the most important articles of foreign trade and the intraeconomic activities. The current study aimed at investigating the current situation of domestic tourism industry in Ukraine. Strategic analysis which is presented in this thesis consists of the examination of the importance of tourism sector, determination of structural problems and challenges which industry currently face.
