Nesses sistemas, nos quais o interator se comunica com o computador em sentido bidirecional, a interface atua fazendo a mediação e conversão de sinais entre dois sistemas de naturezas diferentes, o biológico e o tecnológico. Essa comunicação passa por várias etapas de conversão , camadas de interfaceamento que permitem a entrada de informações por meio desses dispositivos físicos, as interfaces tangíveis, que transformam os dados captados por sensores em sinais digitais, que são processados e retornam ao interator por meio de outras interfaces. Ao longo da breve história da informática digital, as interfaces se aprimoraram e proporcionaram novas possibilidades interativas, tornando a relação do homem com o computador mais intuitiva, amigável e rica, permitindo assim a ampliação do uso da informática em várias áreas, inclusive nas artes. O artista, incorporando o computador em suas obras, acaba também por se envolver na criação de novas interfaces, por isso a importância da investigação de caráter conceitual e técnico, que também é o escopo desta pesquisa, que busca encontrar e desenvolver soluções técnicas acessíveis à comunidade artística para o desenvolvimento de novos dispositivos, para uso de obras de arte interativas. / This paper is a reflexion on the invention of the special interface computer science, produced from all the period of the time of the author's research and their artistic use in interactive multimedia facilities. In these systems in which the interator communicates with the computer bi-direcional way, the interface acts doing the mediation and conversion of the sings between two different nature systems, biological and technological. This communication goes through several conversion steps, interface process layers, allowing the information entry through those physical devices, tangible interfaces, changing the collected data by sensors in digital signs, prossessing and returning to the interator through others interfaces. Along the brief history of the digital information science, the interfaces improved and provided new interactive possibilities, becoming the relation between the man and the computer more intuitive, friendly and rich, allowing thus the enlargement of the use of technology in several areas, including in the arts. When the artists incorporate the computer in their works, they also involve themselves in the creations of new interfaces, therefore the importance of conceptual and thecnical investigation character, that is also the scope of this research, searching and developing accessible technical solutions to the artistic community for the development new devices, using in interactive art works.

The purpose of this search is inspect if the teachers of Mathematic - acting at the public schools in Belém/PA that has Informatic Laboratory - create proceedings with that technologic to find better ways for your pedagogical praxis; favouring the transmission of informations to the build of knowledge and Math concepts. / O uso das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação -TIC no ambiente escolar, além de permitir o acesso a um universo de informações tão caótico quanto inimaginável, promoveu uma profunda transformação na relação de seus principais atores -professores e alunos - com o conhecimento. Desde o final da década de 1980 que, no Brasil, diversos programas surgiram com a finalidade de prover a educação pública de condições de igualdade com a educação privada, procurando através da inserção nas escolas da rede municipal e estadual de um ambiente tecnológico de aprendizagem com base em rede de computadores conectados a Internet, garantir o ansiado salto de qualidade do ensino público. A proposta desse trabalho é investigar se os professores de Matemática que atuam nas escolas da rede estadual em Belém/P A, que possuem Laboratório de Informática, estabelecem interações com esse ambiente na busca pela melhoria de sua práxis pedagógica, favorecendo a transmissão de informações, a construção de conhecimentos e de conceitos matemáticos.

We present the opinion and feeling of students and teachers with respect to the use of the computer in the teaching of Mathematics, having Tikhomirov theories as backgrounds. Through a counter point between Instructionism and Constructionism, we are leaded to favor Constructionism. By the end, we present an elaborated reflection about the role of the computer in the teaching of Mathematics. / O presente trabalho mostra o resultado da pesquisa realizada em cinco instituições universitárias de formação de professores de Matemática do Estado do Pará. Apresentamos o sentimento de que formandos e formadores têm em relação ao uso do computador no ensino da Matemática, relacionando-o com as teorias de Tikhomirov. São abordados, ainda, dois paradigmas: o Instrucionismo e o Construcionismo, onde o Instrucionismo deve ser substituído pelo Construcionismo, no qual a ênfase maior está na aprendizagem e na construção do próprio conhecimento do aluno. São ainda exibidas as falas dos sujeitos da pesquisa, devidamente analisadas e, ao final, há uma reflexão sobre o ensino da Matemática e o emprego do computador, e como este se relaciona com fórmulas, algoritmos e símbolos sem uma maior significação e que são tão presentes na prática docente dos formandos e formadores de Matemática, com objetivo de mostrar que o ensino tradicional, por si só, não justifica a não utilização do computador no processo ensino-aprendizagem de Matemática.

Item's OAI Record identifier: oai:bdtd.ufpa.br:256 / This work aims to investigate the knowledge shown by the students of the course of Mathematics at Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), concerning the use of the computer science in its Education formation. To achieve that objective we used a methodology based on qualitative research, referring to the case study. We made a brief historical study on the educational computer science in Brazil; we highlighted the progresses and researches in the area and we mentioned the best ways to use them in education; we centered our investigations on the aspects related to the Mathematical Education of some educational software and the experiences with the use of computers; and, soon after, we got to our investigation, based on the writings of the students and Professors of the graduation course of Mathematics of UFPA. The information was obtained by means of questionnaires applied to the students during the second term of 2004 and to the Professors in the first term of 2005. We could observe through the analyses that students and Professors consider the insert of the computer science to the curriculum of graduation in Mathematics extremely important they highlight that this teaching doesn't still happen and if so it must be an effective part of the process of the Math teachers formation, because it can contribute to the improvement of the process of teaching/learning and it is a too much important tool for the education. / Este trabalho visa investigar os saberes manifestados pelos alunos do curso de Matemática na Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), em relação à utilização da informática em sua formação. Para atender esse objetivo, utilizamos uma metodologia referente ao estudo de caso. Fizemos um breve histórico sobre a informática educativa no Brasil, destacamos os avanços e pesquisas na área e abordamos as principais maneiras de utilizá-los na educação; tratamos dos aspectos relacionados à Educação Matemática com alguns softwares educativos e as experiências com o uso do computador; e, em seguida, passamos para a nossa investigação, fundamentada nos documentos escritos pelos alunos e professores do curso de Licenciatura em Matemática da UFPA. As informações foram obtidas por meio de questionários aplicados aos alunos, durante o segundo semestre letivo de 2004, e aos professores no primeiro semestre letivo de 2005. Pudemos observar, nas análises, que alunos e professores consideram muito importante a inserção da informática ao currículo da Licenciatura em Matemática, porém destacam que este ensino ainda não ocorre e há necessidade de que ele faça parte efetiva da formação dos professores de Matemática, pois, pode contribuir para a melhoria do processo de ensino aprendizagem e é uma ferramenta indispensável para a educação.
