Vývoj periferií v postindustriálním období v Česku a Rakousku na příkladu Slavonic a Waidhofenu an der Thaya / Peripheral development in the post-industrial period in the Czechia and Austria with the examples of Slavonice and Waidhofen an der Thaya

Horáček, Michal January 2014 (has links)
The thesis is focused on the analysis of peripherals for the presence of post-industrial phenomena. We are mainly focusing on the outer periphery. The object is to reveal the main factors and barriers that affect peripheral development and help periphery overcome their positional disadvantage. Analysis of a survey conducted in the municipalities of Slavonice and Waidhofen an der Thaya indicated fundamental differences in relation to the post-modern values between these two geographically close locations. Structured interviews with community representatives bring out certain details on cooperation and the barriers to individual development. We can conclude from the results that the different social behaviour of peripherals caused by distinct historical and political development has not grown closer to the Austrian model even after 25 years of democracy in the Czechia. Key words: periphery, post-industrial period, development, cooperation

Pejchlová, Tereza January 2016 (has links)
This Master thesis deals with the development, mainly the technological development of the Greek mosaics in the Hellenistic period. Mosaics of the late Classical period are also included in this work as the early Hellenistic mosaic pavements continued to use and improve the late Classical technique. With respect to the technological aspect it is important to describe the production process, sources of which also exist in the ancient literature. The working environment and the organization of the mosaicists or other craftsmen involved can be to some extent reconstructed based on the archaeological finds. The next part of the thesis is concerned with the architectural context, the function and the meaning of the Greek mosaics. Certain hierarchy of the mosaic importance and the meaning can be identified on the basis of their motifs, the technique of the performance and their location inside the building. Furthermore, it is examined, how spaces of private houses changed with mosaics from the late Classical to the late Hellenistic times. In closing there is basic information about the Hellenistic mosaic repertory presented. Keywords mosaics, Greek, Hellenism, Art, Hellenistic, development

Vliv povrchové ubiquitinace spermií na časný embryonální vývoj u prasat / Effect of sperm ubiquitination on the early embryonic development in pig

Kroumanová, Kristýna January 2016 (has links)
The ubiquitin-proteasomal system which is the major pathway for intracellular protein degradation is also involved in sperm quality control in the mammalian epididymis. Defective sperm become surface- ubiquitinated during epididymal passage. The level of sperm surface ubiquitination negatively correlates with their quality. Hypothetically it is possible that after fertilization, highly ubiquitinated sperm, naturally present in mammalian ejaculates, would be actively recognized by oocyte (probably via 26S proteasomal complex). Subsequent partial or total sperm degradation should negatively affect the development of the potentially defective embryo. In this study, we examined the effect of sperm ubiquitination on the early embryonic development in pig (Sus scrofa f. domestica) using the method of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). In vitro embryonic development to the blastocyst stage after ICSI was comparable with other laboratories. In this study, no significant difference was observed in the formation of pronuclei between oocytes fertilized by lower and highly ubiquitinated sperm cells. On the other hand, significantly better embryonic development to the blastocyst stage was observed in oocytes fertilized by sperm with lower surface ubiquitination (17 %) compared with oocytes fertilized by highly...

Sukcese vegetace a vývoj půd na výsypkách po těžbě hnědého uhlí / Vegetation succession and soil development on heaps from brown coal mining

Veselý, Martin January 2012 (has links)
Plant diversity and selected soil parameters from 36 sites placed on brown coal mining spoil heaps were analyzed and compared. Spontaneously revegetated or technically reclaimed spoil heaps of different age were situated in brown coal mining district of eastern Most basin in north western part of the Czech republic. Samples were sorted in groups according to vegetation growth and type. Plant diversity increases during succession development and is higher on non-reclaimed sites than reclaimed sites, where diversity decreases with time. Soil bulk density decreases during succession on all sites. Soil pH is decreasing too and this process is faster on spontaneously revegetated sites. Old successional forest type sites have very acid soils probably due to properties of original mineral matrix. Thickness of organic horizon and A horizon is increasing during succession and they appear in mid-aged sites first. Content of soil organic carbon is increasing continuously. Non-reclaimed sites reach higher contents, mainly because of higher content of fossil organic matter in spoil mineral matrix. Keywords: vegetation succession, soil development, reclamation, brown coal mining heaps
