Role Dlx genů v odontogenezi a kraniogenezi bichira / Dlx genes in odontogenesis and craniofacial mophogenesis in bichirs

Macháčová, Simona January 2014 (has links)
Bichirs, Polypteriformes, are a basal group of vertebrates with many unique characters as ganoid scales, fleshy pectoral fin, spiraculum or paired lung originated from ventral outpocketing from floor of pharynx. Among the most notable is also the dentition, which contatin teeth among whole area of oropharyngeal cavity. This arrangement is not easily call oral and pharyngeal, what is recently used e.g. for medaka, because it is only one dention with teeth on majority of oral as well as pharyngeal elements. This diploma thesis utilizes expression patterns of Dlx genes to visualize morphogenesis of dentition and pharyngeal arches in the Senegal Bichir (Polypterus senegalus). The very first developing teeth of oral dentition, as well as its further patterning were detected and accurately located using gene expression analyses. It was also discovered an interesting histological context connected with unique mouth opening mechanism during early development of teeth in oral cavity. Another discussion point is establishment of dorsoventral polarization in pharyngeal arches development of bichir based on results from Dlx gene expression analysis. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

My findings corroborate the thesis that the ethical and values education, in its close relationship with religious education and the spiritual dimension in general, forms an integral part of the school system and has a significant impact on the formation of moral consciousness and competences of an individual and thus the society as a whole. The first chapter introduces the terminology of ethical education which, despite being essential for both interdisciplinary and international cooperation, has not yet been well established in the literature. The second chapter focuses on the formation of values system and shows that besides family, peers and the macro environment it is the school that plays a distinct role in the moral and character development of an individual. In conformity with the presented stages of gradual strengthening of the moral consciousness of a child, the school can designedly support the desired social interactions that lead to...

Veselý, Ondřej January 2015 (has links)
The thesis examines the utilization of linguogenetic (Proto-Indo-European) and cultural- historic (through borrowing) relationships among European languages in instruction and self- study of foreign languages, and as a means of strengthening European unity. As an example serves German, English and Czech, occasionally Latin and Old Greek, in Teaching German as a Foreign Language. The methods are secondary sources research (to present concise history of the languages and their ancestral proto-languages), analysis of linguistic relationships (between 450 lexemes of the German basic vocabulary and their semantic equivalents - translations - in English, Czech, occasionally Latin and Old Greek) and an opinion survey (among 75 respondents about their interest in the historiolinguistic approach and about their belief in this improving the international relations). The results showed that more than a half of the 450 German words are linguogenetically cognate to English and a significant amount of them also to Czech and Latin. On the contrary, borrowings did not play such an important role within the basic wordstock. Most respondents expressed some kind of interest into the historiolinguistic approach and many of them also believed this approach to have a positive impact on intercultural aspects. KEY WORDS...
