Computer Visualization Fatigue Testing in Composite Laminates

Chiou, Ji-Yun 01 July 2003 (has links)
ABSTRACT This research adopts virtual reality technology to construct a virtual experimental system for fatigue testing in composite laminates. May let the user glance over the entire experimental process, including the specimen manufacturing and the machine operation, and providing the user to simulate the operation of material testing machine. In addition, also may expedite the inquiring of correlative data and the related information of experiment. That is different from the traditional way of teaching. By the 3D operation display, it enables the beginner to quickly understand the entire experiment operating sequence, that will save testing time, reduce cost, promise safety, enhance the interest of study and promote the study efficiency. This research uses virtual reality simulation software 3D Studio MAX 5.0 and Cosmo World 2.0, and the import of photo edit software PhotoImpact to create a virtual experimental system for fatigue testing in composite laminates. And use JavaScript language to control virtual scenes, enable the virtual scene along with user's operation, and present the instantaneity correspondence. Additionally, we use homepage technology and JavaScript language to make an inquiry surface in experimental data, that enhances the usability of this system.

Building a Multi-View 3D Web GIS with VRML

Chen, Tai-hung 02 August 2001 (has links)
Abstract ¡§Web GIS¡¨ is a Geographic Information Systems¡]GIS¡^ operating on the Internet. Web GIS is very popular in the world now. This 2D web GIS can¡¦t display real world spatial information in three dimension. Virtual Reality (VR) is a fancy technology, which can display real world objects in 3D and is able to walk or fly through in this virtual world. Virtual Reality Modeling Language¡]VRML¡^can be used to construct local terrain and structures in 3D on the internet. In order to use geographic coordinates in the VRML, GeoVRML was developed for GIS purposes. This research tries to integrate the tools of 2D web GIS, VRML and GeoVRML into a 3D web GIS. Concept of multi-view is used for this 3D web GIS, which combines a plan view, a model view and real view in a web page. The function of the plan view is to display 2D map and query attributes. The model view and real view are used to display 3D objects and link with database. However, the real view provides more object details in content and texture. This study tried to transform 2D polygons of the manmade structures into VRML and GeoVRML format without using specific software tools. The transformed 3D buildings are independent objects, which can link with database. The ways of creating terrain in GeoVRML are also discussed. A new node in the GeoVRML is suggested. A simple 3D spatial analysis is also explored. Finally, the campus of our university ( National Sun Yat-sen University ) was used as an example for 3D web GIS. The orthophoto of the IKONOS satellite image and 40m digital terrain model data were used. The interaction among plan view, model view and real view were also designed. A database was successfully linked with model view and real view. The calculation of 3D spatial distance between two points was demonstrated. This 3D web GIS is proved to be a 3D GIS with capabilities of 3D data display, query and 3D spatial analysis.

3D komercinis vizualizavimas internete / 3D komercion vizualization in internet

Aksionova, Arina 14 June 2010 (has links)
Šiame darbe analizuojamas erdvinių objektų kūrimo ir vizualizacijos metodai, bei priemonės naudojamos Internetine. Sparčiai vystantis informacinėms technologijoms ir didėjant plačiajuosčio Interneto prieinamumui plačiam vartotojų sluoksniui, tampa vis labiau įmanomi išraiškingesni ir interaktyvesni virtualūs turinio pateikimo metodai. Tačiau svarbiausia, jog šie metodai efektingiau ir realistiškiau perduotų norimą informaciją. O pirmasis žingsnis realybės link – perėjimas nuo šiuo metu labiausiai paplitusio dvimačio informacijos pateikimo būdo į trimatį – erdvinį informacijos pateikimą. Pagrindiniai tyrimo aspektai – trimačių objektų atvaizdavimas, vaizdavimo priemonių valdymas bei panaudojimo galimybės plačiam vartotojų srautui. Darbo objektas – reprezentacinis web-projektas, kuriame naudojami valdomi trimačiai objektai. Šis projektas skirtas sukurti Akrobatikos Sporto mokyklos internetinė svetainę. Joje panaudota manim suprogramuota vidinio valdymo sistema dinaminiam tekstinės informacijos redagavimui, tekstinių dokumentų ir nuotraukų įkrovimui. Svetainėje pateikiamas trimatis sporto mokyklos salės modelis su integruotu virtualiu pasivaikščiojimu po sporto salė. Virtualios kelionės metu galima apžiūrėti akrobatikos sporto salės elementus bei specializuotą sporto įrangą. / In this document I examine the spatial objects and development of visualization techniques and tools used in today’s web. The rapid development of information technologies and the increasing availability of broadband Internet lead to a wide usage of virtual content presentation methods. But more importantly, that these methods are realistic and more effectively translates the desired information. The first step toward reality - the transition from the current two-dimensional information to three-dimensional information. Key aspects of the study: three-dimensional object imaging, imaging operation, and uses of wide user traffic. My project is a web site with three-dimensional objects, the concept of project – user friendly acrobatic school website. It uses dynamic system of internal management information, text editing, text documents and photo galleries. Inside you can find a three-room school built for a virtual tour, to walk in the gym. Virtual trip takes you to see the elements of acrobatics sports hall and other sports facilities.

Virtuální model technologického procesu řízený PLC / A Virtual Model of a Technology Process with PLC Control

Hendl, Adam January 2020 (has links)
This Diploma thesis describes the procedure of setting the parameters of communication blocks and functions in PLC and PC, so that it is possible to remotely control part of the production process. TCP / IP protocol is used for communication between devices. Part of the production technology is represented by the created 3D model, which serves for three-dimensional interpretation of the simulation of the mathematical model of this part of the process. Part of this work is the design of this model and description of its dynamics.

Trimatės vartotojo sąsajos, kuriamos atkuriamosios grafikos priemonėmis / Establishing of three-dimensional connections using graphic communications

Vižinienė, Asta 16 August 2007 (has links)
Atkuriamosios grafikos priemonės leidžia sukurti trimatę vartotojo sąsają, panaudojant įvarius trimačius modelius. Darbo tikslas: Trimačių modelių aprašymo kalbų analizė ir trimatės vartotojo sąsajos modelio sukūrimas. Darbo uždaviniai: išnagrinėti literatūrą apie trimatės vartotojo sąsajos kūrimą, atlikti atkuriamosios grafikos priemonių, skirtų kurti trimačius objektus, analizę bei pagrindinių virtualios realybės aprašymo kalbų analizę, pasinaudojant atkuriamosios grafikos priemonėmis sukurti trimatė vartotojo sąsajos modelį – trimatį tinklalapį. Trimatė vartotojo sąsaja gali būti kuriama pasinaudojant X3D priemonėmis arba naudojantis atskiromis programomis, skirtomis kurti trimačius objektus (pavyzdžiui, CAD, 3ds max, Maya) juos vėliau apjungiant. Virtuali realybė aprašoma VRML bei X3D kalbomis. / Objectives of the work: Literature analysis on use and construction of the three-dimensional connections, analysis of graphic tools used for construction of the three dimensional objects, the analysis of main computer languages for building the virtual reality, and establishing a model/web site of three dimensional connections by implementing investigated tools for three dimensional graphics. Reference base: Different tools for construction, modulation and data processing of the three dimensional environments, literature references. Three dimensional connections could be established by implementing X3D tools or by first using the programs for construction of three dimensional objects (for example CAD, 3ds max, Maya) and connecting them later. Virtual reality could be described using VRML and X3D languages.
