Firstly, theoretical part deals with information society, real estate market in the Czech Republic and how the evolution of information society influenced Czech real estate market in the past. Also the thesis contains description of real estate agency portals in the Czech Republic, their typology and a selection of a web portal for further analysis. The analysis of Sreality.cz contains a description of key processes and also description and fees of provided services. Practical part is focused at specification of real estate agencies web portal according to Kadlec's methodology which can be found in his dissertation thesis. Firstly, there is a description of real estate agencies portal as a system. Then there is an assessment how the proposed solutions meets the criteria specified by Kadlec, which the "ideal" web portal must have. In conclusion, the business case was prepared to Compaq the costs of development and operation of the portal and potential revenues according to competition market analysis. The outcome of the whole thesis is a recommendation whether the investment in the portal makes business sense.

Recent work in the literature has shown that information on these segments may be useful to improve the results of numerous tasks in information retrieval and data mining areas. For this reason, there are many scientific works proposing different methods for Web pages segmentation. Generally speaking, the targeting methods found in the literature only use evidences of the page to be segmented. However, based on the observation that the pages of a site tend to have very similar layouts, we present a strategy based on machine learning that explores overall evidences of Web sites. Our method, which adopts Support Vector Machines for the learning process, and use the SOM structure (Site Object Model) to aggregate information from all pages of aWeb site, achieved good results when compared a manual segmentation approach, and with a recent approach in the literature.

Vytvoření prezentační vrstvy a rozhraní systému pro integraci a vyhledávání informací / Presentation layer and interface for a system for information integration and search

Hladík, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse, design and implement a system to present business objects. These objects are accessible through an existing RESTful API of an integration system. The system combines various sources and publishes them together with information how these data are stored. The task of the thesis is to create data views that meet the following requirements - they can react to metadata changes, they support multiple output formats and these views can be customized. The application should be easily modifiable and connectable to already existing web systems.

What about online store software solutions? : An evaluation study comparing the administrative side of two online store software solutions with criteria from web design, usability and online shopping.

Blomfeldt Olah, Paulina January 2022 (has links)
Online stores today need to be attractive to compete on the rapid growing market of online businesses. Standardized online store software solutions sold from IT companies to small businesses are also growing making it easier for anyone creating an online store. Less attention has been paid to how well these software solutions help the administrators to create a competitive online store regarding the administrator’s limited knowledge about usability and web design. This research intends to develop knowledge about how well two online store solutions perform from evaluation criteria within online shopping, usability and web design and how an online store solution for small businesses can benefit from a comparison with another online store solution sold to a larger range of businesses. The two products are evaluated and compared through Heuristic evaluations and A/B testing with 5 usability experience (UX) experts and analyzed with Trend analysis. The results show strengths in the solutions where they both were easy to learn, had easy access to help and good tools for creating loyal customers and weaknesses in inspiring, navigation and lack in mobile adaption. The findings suggest how the online store solution for small businesses can improve their statistics and design colors from the comparison of the larger product. A limitation in the study is that all evaluators come from the same team. For future work more cultural studies can be conducted for online stores in western countries, and user tests with administrators of online shops.

Its impact on society is increasing more and more, which means that it is becoming indispensable. In this context information searching systems are becoming increasingly important. In this paper, we propose a new search method capable of learning ranking functions that explore Web pages structure in blocks, using genetic programming. Different from previous works, our method allows combining traditional evidence in information retrieval with evidence derived from the structure of Web pages. To validate the proposed method, we use three real collections of pages (IG, CNN and BLOG). Experimental results show that our approach is able to overcome the results of a baseline of information which uses blocks information without learning machine, presenting precision benefits (MAP) of 9.38% in the IG collection, from 7.13% in CNN, and 25.87% in collection BLOG. Regarding our second baseline, which uses genetic programming out of traditional evidence in information retrieval, our method achieved benefits of 5.25% in the IG collection, 10.37% and 4.37% on CNN in collection BLOG. / Na atualidade, a Internet é considerada uma poderosa ferramenta de comunicação e informação. Využití sociálních sítí pro podporu webového portálu / Use of social networks to support the web portal

Mysliveček, David January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the use of social networks for business support. Its main focus lies in designing a strategy for working with Facebook's social network of Coffee Media s.r.o. The first part of this work summarizes general theoretical knowledge from the field of social networks and competitive intelligence. The individual concepts are explained and the area that the thesis deals with is determined. The second part of this work consists of the proposal of the web solution of Coffee Media. The first is the comparison of individual web site creation options, the key factors and creative requirements are determined, according to which the most suitable solution is then selected. With this solution, websites are subsequently designed and implemented. The third part deals with a detailed analysis of competition in the field of online marketing. Four competing companies are selected and their work with the Facebook social network is analysed. The analysis is carried out using both a customized method and a free specialized tool. Based on this analysis, individual trends in Facebook social networking are determined. The last part proposes detailed strategy for working with the Facebook social network. In this strategy, a publishing plan for contributions is designed and individual advertising campaigns are designed to promote Coffee Media.
