Marknadsanalysverktyg : Estimering av tillväxt på telefon- och mobilabonnenter

Shirvani, Vahid January 2013 (has links)
Like most companies, True Software Scandinavia AB has a product out in the market. The product is a mobile application, called Truecaller. In order to deliver the best experience to the end users, a large global phonebook is required. In addition that the company has statistics of how things have gone and are going for their product, there is also a need to know how it will go in the future. Thus they want to know how much potential there is in the market and with regard to this, attempt to estimate when they reach their goal. The purpose of this project is to create a tool that can collect data and perform the necessary process in order to estimate future growth. The tool is created using the Java programming language and will be in the form of a desktop application. As these kinds of tools are large and complex, it will be solved by subdividing it into smaller constituent parts. After each part is separately developed, all parts will be put together at the end. In order for the tool to be functional and give any result, each component must work correctly. In the results, we will verify that each component performs its work faultless. Apart from the result, even some discussions about general sustainability, criticisms and improvements on the work will be included in this report.

Suitability of the NIST Shop Data Model as a Neutral File Format for Simulation

Harward, Gregory Brent 07 July 2005 (has links)
Due to the successful application in internet related fields, Extensible Markup Language (XML) and its related technologies are being explored as a revolutionary software file format technology used to provide increased interoperability in the discrete-event simulation (DES) arena. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has developed an XML-based information model (XSD) called the Shop Data Model (SDM), which is used to describe the contents of a neutral file format (NFF) that is being promoted as a means to make manufacturing simulation technology more accessible to a larger group of potential customers. Using a two step process, this thesis evaluates the NIST SDM information model in terms of its ability to encapsulate the informational requirements of one vendor's simulation model information conceptually and syntactically in order to determine its ability to serve as an NFF for the DES industry. ProModel Corporation, a leading software vendor in the DES industry since 1988, serves as the test case for this evaluation. The first step in this evaluation is to map the contents of ProModel's information model over to an XML schema file (XSD). Next, the contents of this new XSD file are categorized and compared to the SDM information model in order to evaluate compatibility. After performing this comparison, observations are made in relation to the challenges that simulation vendors might encounter when implementing the proposed NIST SDM. Two groups of limitations are encountered which cause the NIST SDM to support less than a third of the ProModel XSD elements. These two groups of limitations are: paradigm differences between the two information models and limitations posed due to the incomplete status of the NIST SDM specification. Despite these limitations, this thesis shows by comparison that XML technology does not pose any limitation which would invalidate its ability to syntactically represent a common information model or associated XML NFF. While only 28% of the ProModel element are currently supported by the SDM, appropriate changes to the SDM would allow the information model to serve as a foundation upon which a common information model and neutral file format for the DES industry could be built using XML technologies.

Monitorování provozu sítě pomocí dlouhodobě pracujícího analyzátoru / Network Traffic Monitoring using Long Working Analyser

Gilík, Aleš January 2015 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on network monitoring. The theoretical part describes using of detection and prevention systems, properties of these systems, their components and detection techniques. Next part of the thesis is focused on EndaceProbe analyzer and analytic application EndaceVision. Also web services, programming language WSDL and protocol SOAP are described. The practical part is focused on creating three laboratory exercises for network monitoring and for using EndaceProbe. Components of the exercises are the traffic generator IXIA and Cisco switches with the application of remote switched port analyzer. There are also used web services EndaceProbe, programming language WSDL and SOAP protocol.

Vývoj SQL/XML funkcionality v databázi PostgreSQL / Development of SQL/XML Functionality in PostgreSQL Database

Pospíšil, Tomáš January 2011 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to propose a way to implement the missing XML functionality for the database system PostgreSQL. The second chapter discusses the theoretical paradigm with an XML-related technologies like Xpath or XQuery. The third chapter discusses the ISO SQL standards and describes the current level of implementation of native XML databases, versus traditional relational databases. The last part focuses on different approaches and it proposes a solution to implement the XML API to PostgreSQL, which validates XML documents against XSD, DTD and RelaxNG schemes. Next point is focused on XML indexing techniques and proposal of new index based on GiST.

Transformace webových aplikací na webové služby / Transformation of Web Applications into Web Services

Zámečník, Miroslav January 2008 (has links)
Present web is aiming to the possibility of automatization of user behavior on web applications. Adding of semantics and creation of web service interface are the main approaches for accomplishment of this user comfort. Nevertheless, this direction brings some problems which can make more difficult publishing and implementation of web documents. Web services can connect heterogeneous systems, because they are based on XML markup language that is a place where all applications can meet without lost of platform independence. The automatic transformation of a web application into a web service could be considerably more effective than to create a web service from the beginning. However, this step is for some applications almost unreal without knowledge of their inner structure. In most cases, the transformation will be done semiautomatically with help of human decisions.

Publikace dat ze sítě meteostanic ve formátu DATEX II / Implementation of Datex II standard for road transport weather stations

Partika, Marek January 2016 (has links)
Master’s thesis deals with implementation of a European standard DATEX II. This standard specifies the data format for information transmission in road transport. The road traffic is flowing streams of current information. For the work was selected network of meteorological stations, which will publish the measured data, ie weather conditions of road transport. Measured data will be available to consumers in the format DATEX II. Implementation will be operational in its entirety meteorological station from design to the actual web service that will produce data information for consumers.
