Využití XSLT při zpracování Topic Maps

Janeček, Petr January 2007 (has links)

XSLT and Application Maintainability: A Case Study

Stauffer, Andrew I., Pfeiffer, Phil 01 December 2010 (has links)
Software maintainability can be difficult to plan for when strategies for software development present tradeoffs between popular support and expressiveness. These tradeoffs were explored in the context of a recent software project, where two schema transformation applications were developed in two ways: a first that used the traditional XSLT 1.0 plus pull processing approach to application development, and a second using XSLT 2.0 and push processing. The improvements obtained with the second strategy, which took 1/4 of the time to implement while substantially reducing the size of both applications and the complexity of one, suggest that the benefits of transitioning to XSLT 2.0 and push processing far outweigh the benefits of the older approaches.

Översikt och tillämpning av XML

Al-abuhalje, Afrah, Al-abuhalje, Sanaa January 2007 (has links)
På så sätt får läsaren en god inblick i hur XML fungerar.</p> / <p>Abstract</p><p>HTML is not powerful enough to handle the increasing demands on Internet applications of today, which is one of the reasons to why a new markup language called XML has been introduced. In this report we describe the basics as well as more advanced parts of XML like DTD, XML Schema and XSLT.</p><p>XML combines the simplicity of HTML and the possibilties of SGML. One of the premier strengths of XML is that it may be used to store any type of data without any considerations to how it will be presented later. The content and the presentation are separated completely. Another important property is that XML documents are stored as</p><p>ordinary text files, which means that XML is system and platform independent.</p><p>In this report our aim consists of two goals. One goal is to create a suitable format for storing configuration data using XML. The configuration data is to be used by a network emulator. In order to emulate the conditions present in a real network the emulator is</p><p>capable of emulating things as bit errors, packet losses, bandwidth limitation and delay, all of which are examples of configuration data. The other goal is to describe the basics as well as more advanced parts of XML in general. As we describe XML, we continuously show how we apply this knowledge to our application. In this way, the reader achieves a good insight into how XML works.</p>

Generování výstupních sestav v prostředí webu / Generating printouts on the Web

Kolafa, Lukáš January 2010 (has links)
Today it is very often necessary to print different documents from company information systems. These documents, that are designed to represent the company, contain information that is usually stored in databases. The goal of this thesis is to show the methods for the automatic conversion of data into formatted documents. My aim is to show some methods, how to automatically generate printouts and how to create templates for them in an easy way. For the purpose of this thesis, I've developed a small web application, which stands for an information system of a logistics company. The application allows creating documents with the help of templates. All documents are generated in generally common formats.

Integrace Sociálních sítí / Integrace Sociálních sítí

Mašíček, Viktor January 2010 (has links)
Social networks are the current phenomenon, and their integration begins to gain importance. Basic idea is to pair identical pieces of information stored in various social networks and to detect inconsistencies between them. The most important data that need to be integrated are user profi les and lists of contacts. In our work, we propose the integration of both the pro files and lists of contacts, and even groups of users that could be created in social networks. Implementation is not part of the work. However the proposal suggests the creation of Main social network in form of a web application, that brokers the integration to end users. From the perspective of users it is bene cial to display data from all social networks in one place and automate detection of di erences. User's data could be used for commercial purposes, of course, within legal limits. From this perspective, the biggest contribution of Main social network is a social graph. It consists of various social graphs of social networks. Additionally it would contain information about membership of users in social networks. The proposal consists of three main parts: main processes of the Main social network, its data model and means of gathering information from different networks. The design of data model was partially inspired by existing...

XSLT Benchmarking / XSLT Benchmarking

Mašíček, Viktor January 2012 (has links)
The main goal of this work was to create an XSLT Benchmark, to compare available XSLT processors. At first, we determined main criteria of XSLT processors (price, correctness, speed, memory usage, support, OS and UX), which we discussed. Next, we summarized existing XSLT processors, described individual types of processors (program, library and browser) and measured criteria price, support, OS} and UX. We had to create appropriate test environment to measure criteria correctness, speed and memory usage. Created program XSLT Benchmarking is one of the main benefits of this work. The program also includes tests. We created tests based on 5787 downloaded XSLT files. Tests were created based on the analysis of these files. Firstly, we researched common features of XSLT files (used elements, used XSLT versions, output format etc.). Secondly, we researched focuses of their usages. Next big benefit of this work is a summary of results of tests from different views. We discussed other criteria and features of tested processors. Finally, we summarized possible extensions of our program and also of our analysis.
