Analyse von Schnittstellenkompatibilität von Steuergeräten auf Basis von MSC-Beschreibungen

Ma, Zheng 18 March 2008 (has links) (PDF)

An Evaluation of the Effects of Session Distribution on the Acquisition, Retention, and Endurance of Material Learned Using Precision Teaching

Hasbrouck, Elizabeth G. 08 January 2014 (has links)
Precision Teaching (PT) is a data-based educational tool that allows individual changes to be made to educational programs based specifically on the needs of the learner. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of session distribution on the material learned in the context of a PT intervention program. Typical children, ages 3- to 5-years-old, whom were enrolled in a church-based child development program, participated. The goal of this study was to assess if the administration of PT sessions one day-a-week or five days-a-week effected the acquisition, retention, and endurance of material learned. Results indicate that there was minimal difference in the rate of acquisition, retention, and endurance on the material learned between session distributions for four of the five children.

\"Análise da qualidade de prontuários odontológicos para fins de identificação humana através da auto-avaliação\" / Quality analysis of dental charts, for human identification purpose, through professionals´self-assessment

Ilka Corrêa de Meo 18 October 2006 (has links)
The quality of a dental chart has direct relation with its capacity in supplying definitive necessities of the professional practice. Among the characteristics of this documentation we find its capacity to function as evidence of great value in cases of human identification, especially in cases presenting massive destruction of the bodies (carbonization, advanced decomposition, drowning and mutilation), making it difficult to accomplish the identification through dactyloscopy or even the recognition by the family members. With the decrease in the number of radiographic takes carried out through the dental treatment and the reduction of the incidence of caries in the population in general, the detailing of written documentation elaborated by the dentist becomes essential to make possible its comparison with postmortem data in a forensic identification. Thus, our goal was to evaluate the quality of the dental charts made by graduated dentists. Moreover, we made also a comparison between the quality of the documentation elaborated by newly graduated professionals and professionals graduated for more than 5 years, as an attempt to establish the time of graduation as a relevant factor in the elaboration of the written documentation. For that, a non probabilistic sample of 132 professionals was submitted to a questionnaire with questions referring to the routine elaboration of the dental documentation, having been used for its analysis the quantitative observation of the trends of the answers. It was noticed that there is a great deficiency in the professionals´ knowledge in producing this documentation, and also of its importance in cases of human identification. Regarding the time of graduation, generally, the performance of the two groups presented very similarly, what led us to the conclusion that it does not reflect in the final quality of the documentation.

Evaluating the Effects of Different Frequencies on Retention

Greene, Bethany Owings 29 June 2016 (has links)
Traditional teaching methods use accuracy-only criterion when teaching students a specific skill, but more and more students are being left behind in classrooms because they are not mastering the skill. Using fluency, a combination of speed and accuracy, as a mastery criterion has shown to improve both retention and mastery. Previous research suggested that frequency scores closer to the predicted frequency aim produced greater retention. It is unclear at what frequency aim a decay in retention begins to occur. The purpose of the present study was to examine the differential effects of retention on preschool participants’ reading first grade Dolch sight words once the skill had been strengthened to 3 frequencies (i.e., 15 correct words/min, which is 25% of the accepted fluency aim, 30 correct words/min, which is 50% of the accepted fluency aim, and 60 correct words/min, which is 100% of the accepted fluency aim) using fluency training and the Precision Teaching method. Three preschool age participants were assessed for retention 2 weeks and 6 weeks after reaching criterion. All participants maintained teaching frequencies of correct responding 2 weeks after reaching mastery for all 3 frequency aims. Six weeks after teaching, 1 out of 3 participants showed retention for the 15 correct words per min criterion, all participants showed retention for the 30 correct words per min criterion, and all participants showed a decay in retention of correct responding for the 60 correct words per min criterion. Limitations and future research were discussed.

Couleur et nuancier, territoires et fonctions : analyse poïétique de l'échantillonnage de la couleur par les manufactures, l'industrie et le commerce / Colour and color chart, territories and functions : poïetical analysis of the sampling mode by manufacters, industry and commerce

Varichon, Anne 03 December 2011 (has links)
Colour is omnipresent in our daily lives, but its representation in today’s marketing shows a double paradox: on the one hand, the use of advertising rhetoric, invoking characteristics of color – the same being manifestly denied by the manufacturing industry, and on the other hand, the multiplication of the image of color chart – but under printing-conditions that are opposed to the functions of exemplification it is supposed to fulfill. Using tools from poietic, this thesis intends to demonstrate what kind of changes manufacturers, industry and commerce has gone through in terms of construction of theidea of colour since the mid-nineteenth Century by questioning its various sampling modes, in particular how the color chart was introduced by manufacturers. Sampling of colour is here considered as an interface of maximum expression betweencolour producers and traders and those for whom it is intended: it originates from specific creative conducts - which it also generates. The purpose of this work is to measure the evolution of each type of provided - and obviously communicated - information through the color chart. The research is anchored to a body of documentation, upon which an analytical grid isapplied, first of all in order to define the five fields of information the colour sampling has allowed for. It also enables one to explore their quantitative and qualitative characteristics. Thus it has been possible to develop operational concepts in order to define precisely two distinct creative lines: one generating the color chart and the other generating the sample collection. The chronological amplitude of this research and the prejudice to let the field maintain its ability to display all its treasures, has imposed its own limitations to this research. It has defined the framework and the main landmarks of a - until now - poorly explored subject and developed the conceptual tools capable of being re-used. An evaluation has been performed on the adequacy of the methodology, the tools and on implemented concepts. The results are encouraging as they show that the undertaken research has successfully identified the issues the color chart, the rich entity of where it comes from and what it leads to can contribute to deciphering contemporary society. The purpose is to extend this first step by carrying out new investigations on the sampling of color.

Robust MEWMA-type Control Charts for Monitoring the Covariance Matrix of Multivariate Processes

Xiao, Pei 06 March 2013 (has links)
In multivariate statistical process control it is generally assumed that the process variables follow a multivariate normal distribution with mean vector " and covariance matrix •, but this is rarely satisfied in practice. Some robust control charts have been developed to monitor the mean and variance of univariate processes, or the mean vector " of multivariate processes, but the development of robust multivariate charts for monitoring • has not been adequately addressed. The control charts that are most affected by departures from normality are actually the charts for • not the charts for ". In this article, the robust design of several MEWMA-type control charts for monitoring • is investigated. In particular, the robustness and efficiency of different MEWMA-type control charts are compared for the in-control and out-of-control cases over a variety of multivariate distributions. Additionally, the total extra quadratic loss is proposed to evaluate the overall performance of control charts for multivariate processes. / Ph. D.
