Abstract: The general purpose of this work is to describe the labour conditions of the handiworkers of th.e Municipal Prefecture of Botucatu (MPB) while trying o identify the The description of the work done by the administrative staff of the MPB was not object of study in this research. The death rate, registered in the Municipal Workers Ambulatory, during the period between the seventh of June and the fourth of December in 1987, was analysed, as well as, the occupational accidents that happened to the municipal workers in 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987. Based on the data obtained from the guidelines of the VIII National Conference of Health and
the I National Conference of the worker health, the setting in of an
Occupacional Health Program aiming at the municipaI workers of the MPB, was proposed. The description of the handiworkers section, revealed that the tasks at the MPB are mosty executed in a manual way, without any technology. This fact projects the "antiergonomic positions" as a very frequent risk condition. The incidence coefficient caused by about
accidents, was high since 1984, and it was similar in 1986 and 1987. The coefficients of the seriousness of these same accidents, were high since 1984 ...Note: The complete abstract is available with the full electronic digital thesis or dissertations.

No entanto,
aspecto classista do regime.

understanding of labour history, especially during the period of the Brazilian military
dictatorship (1964-1985), as it reveals the class character of its subsequent governments
after the outbreak of a coup articulated by the most conservative sectors of society, in
opposition to the growing political mobilization of the working and popular classes, and
advancement of the lefts. The “business-military” coalition in power, in pursuit of the ideal
of "development with security", created mechanisms that intensified the process of
exploitation of the working classes and accelerated the accumulation and concentration of
capital, giving rise to the "Brazilian economic miracle." However, as a result of the search
for development at any cost, Brazil was considered the "world champion" in work accidents,
according to the ILO, during the so-called "economic miracle" years. Similarly, military
response to the issue of accidents - policies to prevent accidents and assist the victims of
these casualties, such as professional rehabilitation - also reinforce the regime's class-based
nature. As it will be analysed, during the military dictatorship, the preventionism was
directed primarily to the worker who, after all, was considered the victim and the cause of
the accidents. Therefore, it was necessary to value the Brazilian worker, but, above all, to
reform him, teaching how to prevent accidents. Finally, this thesis seeks to examine the
Professional Rehabilitation programme, which is primarily aimed at the social security
beneficiaries who had been injured and incapacitated for work. As will be discussed, this
programme has functioned as a political tool to control and cushion the tensions between
capital and labour, by assuming the responsibility of recovering the labor power
incapacitated by capital, through the use of its residual work capacity, with a view to return
them to the market. In this sense, the records of the Professional Rehabilitation Center of
João Pessoa (CRP-JP) were analysed, aiming to detail the stages and functioning of the
rehabilitation, and to give voice to the labourers who were dilapidated by the capitalist
production and were in the process of reconstruction of their bodies, aiming to its recycling
to the capital.

Atividade de vigilância em saúde do trabalhador no SUS / Not availableSantos, Simone Alves dos 07 May 2018 (has links)
This study was interested in analyzing the current model in Workers\' Health Surveillance in the state of São Paulo and exploring the challenges, possibilities and obstacles for the effective performance of the Reference Centers for Workers\' Health. / Conduct of nursing professionals from a specialized oncology hospital who were exposed to biological materialLuize, Paula Batista 26 June 2012 (has links)
Introduction: occupational accidents involving biological material are a concern for the health institutions, since it can cause serious damage to the health of professionals. Previous issue date: 2015-10-30 / The analysis of information related to workers' health is a fundamental element for
understanding the health-disease mechanism in the work environment, identifying

appropriate means of gathering and recording of information and the establishment
of effective reporting systems, availability of data and proper handling should be part
of the permanent routines of all institutions, public or private, which allow employees
and those responsible for their safety and protection. In Brazil, the Ministry of Social
Welfare, whose data are limited to insured workers, has reported statistics on workrelated
accidents in particular. The aim of the study was to describe the information
on occupational accidents among workers protected by the social security general
regime in the State of Goias in the decade 2003-2012. The criteria adopted
followed the classification proposed by this information system: reasons / situations,
outcomes, chapters of the International Classification of Diseases prevalent, major
segments of the National Classification of Economic Activities affected and the
specific indicators related to the topic. This is a retrospective analysis of quantitative
and descriptive nature of the underlying pension historical data in this period, from
the statistical yearbooks of industrial accidents. The results indicate overall
improvement of indicators such as mortality rate, mortality rate, and proportional
accident rates in the age group 16-34 years. External causes of accidents and those
related to the musculoskeletal system predominate, as well as occurrences in the
manufacturing follow-up, followed by agriculture and commerce. They are still the
major labor accident rates and most events notified by compulsory official document,
the Communication Workers' Compensation. There is, however, a significant
percentage seen only by some pension technical relationship (professional / technical
work, epidemiological technical pension or technical sickness treated as accidents at
work) after expert assessment and, therefore, without proper notification in the early
stages from the event. This allows reference underreporting. No limitation of details
relating to the health of the insured employee and excluding those in the informal
sector. This indicates the need for improved reporting systems, monitoring and
surveillance of potentially interfering occurrences in occupational health, no matter
what the worker's situation. A potential and desirable advance would be to establish
an integrated information system that can articulate all the assistance and promotion
bodies in health in this segment. Currently available systems limit the data and
indicators to employees on the payroll and certain events that have been given
notification requirement under the public health through the Notifiable Diseases
Information System, little comprehensive and descriptive. Despite many advances in
the field of labor law, still do not have any more sensitive and systematically capture
and recording of occupational accidents. This necessary task continues depending
on the communication itself of a work accident or pension expert assessment, restricted to CLT insured. This remains a major challenge to universality, as it is the
workers' health of the state's responsibilities.
No
