Hodnocení kvality ejakulátu beranů získaných různými metodami odběru

Filipi, Helena January 2019 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was to focus on the evaluation of ejaculate quality from rams obtained by various methods of sampling and description of ejaculate collection methods in male farm animals with a focus on small ruminants. The ejaculate collection method of rams in the zwartbles breed did not affect ejaculate parameters. A significant difference was found in the volume of ejaculate, and also in other indicators of ejaculate quality, for example in sperm activity, as well as in eddy motion, sperm concentration and percentage of morphologically normal spermatozoa. The most significant difference seems to be in sperm concentration; in other indicators, differences do not have such an impact on the production of insemination doses and practical utility in reproduction. The effect of the ejaculate collection method on rams was also evident in short-term preservation in commercial diluent and pasteurized milk.

Gongol, Jaroslav January 2017 (has links)
Jaroslav Gongol, Monitoring of Norway Spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) Wood and Phloem formation at the microscopic level. The thesis deals with monitoring of the norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.) wood and phloem formation on a research plot Rájec-Němčice during the growing season of 2012 and 2013. At weekly intervals from 5.4. to 7.11. were taken 11 -microbore samples from 6 different selected trees by using trephor. From taken microbore samples were created permanent microscopic preparations, which were further evaluated under a microscope. This thesis is focused on the evaluation of cambial activity and the process of formation of wood and phloem in relation to climatic conditions. Part of this thesis was also to evaluate the resulting annual growth ring character and the influence of the formation of wood on its properties and use. The findings were compared with the literature, which has already dealt with this issue. The average length of cambium activity in 2012 was 119 days and 112 days in 2013. The average growth of wood was 55 cells in the first year and 33 cells in the second year, when the average growth of phloem was 5.3 cells and 5.2 cells.

Kresta, Jan January 2014 (has links)
Title: Analysis of errors futsal referees in relation to their position and physical activity on the pitch Problem: Description of the performance of the referee should be one of the key aspects of the futsal referees system preparation. The current situation, according to knowledge of descriptors of futsal referees performance is not sufficient and adequate to those players' or referees from other sports games. These descriptors will help in the planning and implementation of a systemic approach to futsal referee training in the Czech Republic with the possibility of transfer to the international level. The issue is whether futsal referee error in the assessment of game situations changes in connection with its status and physical strain in the game. Objective: The main objective is to contribute to solving the problems of performance analysis referee in sports games. The specific objectives of the work are: exploration and description of physical activity of futsal referees in the game; description and explanation of referee decisions in relation to their position on the pitch and physical activity; make recommendations supported by the results of the work which will help in the upbringing and education of futsal referees in the country the position on the field - to obtain evidence for systemic...

Efekty sluneční aktivity v rozvodných sítích / Effects of solar activity in power-distribution grids

Výbošťoková, Tatiana January 2019 (has links)
Eruptive events on the Sun have an impact on immediate cosmic surround- ings of the Earth. Through induction of electric current also affect Earthbound structures such as the electric power distribution networks. Inspired by recent studies we investigate the correlation between the disturbances recorded by the Czech electric-power distributors with the geomagnetic activity represented by the K index. We found that in the case of the datasets recording the disturbances on the power lines with the high and very high voltage levels and disturbances on elec- trical substations, there was a statistically significant increase of failure rates in the periods of maxima of geomagnetic activity compared to the adjacent minima of activity. There are hints that the disturbances are more pronounced shortly after the maxima than shortly before the maxima of activity. Our results provide hints that the geomagnetically induced currents may af- fect the power-grid equipment even in the mid-latitude country in the middle of Europe. A follow-up study that includes the modelling of geomagnetically induced currents is needed to confirm our findings. The second part of our research includes modelling of geoelectric field using one-minute geomagnetic measurements from Intermagnet database. We applied this model to the long-term...

Deriváty Amaryllidaceae alkaloidů jako potenciální léčiva / Derivatives of Amaryllidaceae alkaloids as drugs

Ritomská, Aneta January 2019 (has links)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Botany Candidate: Aneta Ritomská Supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Ing. Lucie Cahlíková, Ph.D. Title of diploma thesis: Derivatives of Amaryllidaceae Alkaloids as Drugs Plants of the family Amaryllidaceae belong to the widespread species. They contain a large amount of Amaryllidaceae alkaloids (AA) which are known for their biological activity. AA possess a broad spectrum of biological activities including an antiviral, antimalarial, antitumor, cholinesterase's inhibitory activity and others. An interesting AA is ambelline which occurs mainly in plants of the genus Crinum and Nerine. So far the biological activity of this compound has been studied only marginally. In the studies conducted, this substance appears to be less interesting. A series of aliphatic and aromatic derivatives of ambelline has been prepared in the framework of this thesis. Subsequently, their cholinesterase inhibitory activity and GSK-3β inhibitory activity were studied. Cytotoxic activity on a panel of selected tumor and resting cell lines was also screened. Of the prepared derivatives, LC-125 (3-methoxybenzoylambellin) had an interesting biological activity. This substance showed a promising activity in all biological studies. GSK-3β inhibitory...

Comparison of soil microbial activity on sites with different forest management practices

Volánek, Jiří January 2016 (has links)
Presented thesis is focused on microbial activity of forest soils and aims at characterizing some of its parameters on sites with different silvicultural management practices. Coppice, coppice-with-standard and high forest stands were compared in terms of carbon and nitrogen content, content of microbial biomass, enzymatic activity and selected physical properties of soil. Study was conducted between September 2015 and April 2016 on pre-existing TARMAG II research plot near Soběšice, Brno, Czech Republic. Samples were collected during three different calendar seasons, allowing for seasonal dynamicity assessment of the studied parameters. Statistical evaluation detected significant effect of management type on potential respiration of studied soil samples as well as significant effect of seasonality on microbial biomass content in incubated samples, phosphatase activity in fresh soil samples, catalase activity in both fresh and incubated samples and potential respiration of studied samples. Results also show that the overall potential activity of urease and catalase was at its highest during the winter season.

Sledování antioxidantů v sušeném ovoci / Study of antioxidants in dried fruits.

Barošová, Michaela January 2008 (has links)
Presented diploma work is focused on study of antioxidants in different kinds of dried fruits. Analyses of ascorbate, tocopherols, carotenoids and flavonoids were performed using RP-HPLC with spectrophotometric detection. Analysis of dried fruits showed high level of vitamins and phenolocs mainly in berries. High level of carotenoids was observed in dried apricots and plums. Further, antioxidant activity of dried fruit extracts was tested by ABTS method. High antioxidant activity was found mainly in dried apples, cranberries and blueberries. The biological test with yeast Sascharomyces cerevisiae D7 was used for the analysis of antimutagenic efects of dried fruits. High antimutagenic activity exhibited dried cranberries and blueberries. Most of tested dried fruits with high antimutagenic effect exhibited also high antioxidant activity as well as high content of some antioxidants. No direct correlation was found among these parameters. Last part of this work was focused on study of influence of drying on antioxidant content in two types of apples. Drying at mild controlled conditions exhibited no significant negative effect on active substance content; in some samples their concentration was observed.

Fráňová, Anna January 2019 (has links)
The Diploma thesis deals with the topic of yeasts culture and its influence on aromatic profile of white wines. The first part of the thesis focuses on literature overview, where we can find more details about wine yeasts and its species. The main focus is on possibilities of reproduction these yeasts. The result can be seen on growth curve, which shows the speed and intensity of multiplication of the yeasts. We will see the proces of alcoholic fermentation and determine the difference between spontaneuos fermentation and controled fermentation using special active dry wine yeasts. Smoothly going to second part of literature overview, where we can learn about aromatic properties of wines, especially the aromatic profile that is typical for variety Grüner Veltliner. The beginning of the experimental part will familiarize us with brief description of variety Grüner Veltliner, that were used for the experiment and its origin. Then we can see clear diagram describing the proces of the experiment following the analysis of analytic parametrs. The parametrs are concered about the stum and description of the proces of fermentation of partial variations. In the result part we can find analytical of resultant wines from spectrophotometric apparatuses ALPHA and MIURA and the results of senzoric evaluation done by committee of seven degustators. The final part of the thesis is about comparison of results within discussion and final results listed in the chapter conclusion.
