The ability to communicate is the key to develop good relations even those theres other problems that can occur. Good communication skills make it easier to build and maintain good realtionships between teachers/students assistants and students with ADHD and autism. Other factors than communication is trust, respect and good professional skills of teachers which simplify the building of relationships between students with ADHD and autism and teachers/students assistants.Previous literary studies that i have studied show that there are very few students with ADHD and autism who achieve success in schooling to continue on to further studies in high school. Its because students with ADHD and autism have difficulties with communication, understanding and adaptation. In addition, students with ADHD abd autism experience lack of concentration and completion of school assignmrnts, leading of failure. Therefore its important that teachers and student assistant have a good knowledge and background on ADHD and autism.

The Effects of Extended Loan Period, Released Time, and Incentive Pay on Increasing Shelving and Shelf-Reading Productivity of Student Assistants in Academic LibrariesBanks, Julia Ann 05 1900 (has links)
The purpose of this research was to determine if an extended loan period, released tine, and incentive pay increased the student assistants' shelving and shelf-reading rates. The first quasi-experiment utilized loan, time, and pay given across the board as motivators. Because the population for this study was small, a questionnaire, intended to strenghten the study's results by identifying additional libraries which effectively use similar motivational techniques, was mailed to the forty private university libraries throughout Texas. A second questionnaire polled the student participants about their feelings about shelving and shelf-reading and about the motivators used in the study. The second quasi-experiment motivated the student assistants by pay tied to productivity. Gender, grade point average, and academic classification were control variables for this study.

Till alla lärare och för alla lärare? : En kvalitativ intervjustudie om elevassistenters upplevelser om makt i en samverkansprocess. / To all teachers and for all teachers? : A qualitative interview study about student assistants' experiences of power in a collaborative process.Svensson, Lenina January 2022 (has links)
Background: The curriculum for both adapted upper secondary school and adapted compulsory school states that everyone within the school must use the curriculum. Nevertheless, it is stated in the introductory chapter of the curriculum that the curriculum is aimed to all teachers and for all teachers. It shows an exclusion of other professions, including student assistants, which are so important for students in need of adaptations. Along with them, the school's goal is to provide the right conditions for the students and the conditions come from the staff but also from the collaboration meeting that the school staff has together with other professions and relatives of the students.Aim: The purpose of the study is to interpret and understand the picture of how student assistants at an adapted school, experience power structures and power relations that they may encounter in a collaborative process. The issues related to the purpose are: What perceptions do student assistants have about their participation and influence in a collaboration process and what perceptions do the student assistants have about their room for manoeuvre in a collaborative process. Methods: I have done a qualitative semi-structured interview study. Where I interviewed five student assistants. Results: The results show that the student assistants may participate before the collaboration meeting but not in the meeting. The results also show that they have room for manoeuvre that they can use when they encounter resistance in the operations. Conclusions: The result of the study showed that there is a balance of power based on mandate and status within the organisation because the educators and principals have the overall decisive decision-making.
