The Master’s thesis deals with the development of construction of residential properties and housing estate in the locality of Tišnov. The thesis describes the particular historical building periods in Tišnov. In shows the historical development, changing and growing on the town. Some chapters describe the current status of building activities and the possible future development of this area in the residental properties. The main purpose of the thesis is to get the detailed summary of the construction of residental properties in the elected lokality from the very beginning to these days. All results the research are displayed in the overwiew map, the individual period sof building development in the town of Tišnov are distinquish with colors.

This dissertation analyzes the effect of insulation on the price of housing units in Opava city. In the theoretical part of the dissertation deals with the subject of appraisement, the energy intensity of buildings and technical-economic evaluation. In the practical part sets the prices of selected housing units by direct comparison, the comparative method by regulation and yield value. It assesses whether the possible range in the valuation regulations (5%) reflects the fact that the recognized building insulated in accordance to the current legislation. It detects the energy nature of a apartment building in which they are placed selected apartments. The goal is to determine a price increase of housing units due to insulation and evaluates the appropriateness and inappropriateness of buying from the investor's perspective.

This thesis describes the design of an apartment building in Roznov pod Radhostem. It is a detached building on a large and gently sloping land. The building block of flats has five above and consists of a total of 25 residential units. The flat on first floor is designed as a barrier-free. On first floor are situated two mass garages (for 18 cars). The building is designed of structural systém of ceramic blocks, except first and second floor, which has walls and columns of reinforced concrete. The ceilings are from reinforced concrete and the roof is designed as a flat surcharge. The work includes project documentation for the construction and specialization.

Project of a tiered apartment building. It is a four-storey above ground object.On the ground floor there are garages, storages and technical equipment of the building. The second to fourth storey are designated for dwelling, there are twelve housing units 1+1, three-bedroom flats with kitchenette and four-bedroom flats witch kitchenette. Some of the flats have cascade terraces. The load-bearing structure is made of cast-in-place concrete frame filled with concrete and clay masonry. The frame is founded on two-phased reinforced foundation blocks. The building is roofed with a main flat roof and walkable flat terraces adjacent to the flats. The building is thermally insulated with contact thermal insulation system.

Writing of this master thesis was stimulated by my participation on compulsory practice and the level of its interest. The master thesis includes the description and technical documentation for the construction of the reinforced concrete building foundations. The aim of this thesis is to solve the method and potential problems of the concreting. As for the concreting machinery, I suggested to use the machines (mixer truck and mobile concrete pump) from the nearby concrete plant to reduce the total transportation costs. I’ve made an analysis of machine renting fees and price of fresh concrete between local distributors. The main contribution of the master thesis is acquaintance with the construction of the apartment building and with a practical side of preparations before the construction begins.

The work deals with the design and development of the design documentation of an apartment building situated in the cadastral area of the town of Boskovice. The documentation contains all the requirements according to the valid regulations. The designed four-floor apartment building is situated in gently sloping terrain. There are 13 flats in this apartment building. A balcony or a terrace belong to each of the flats. From the ground floor apartments there is an entrance to the garden. The flats are designed to meet the requirements of the present day. There is a car park in front of the buiding. The vertical loadbearing structures are lined with clay blocks. The building is covered with a one-layer coating flat roof with a load-bearing layer of monolithic reinforced concrete boards. The insulation of the building is provided by a contact thermal insulation system. Fire safety, energy saving and thermal protection is ensured.

Abstract The dissertation addresses the issue of architecture in municipal housing built between the two wars in the town of Ústí nad Labem. From mid-nineteenth century the North Bohemian industrial agglomeration, populated mostly by Germans, experienced unprecedented urban and demographic growth. Thus, between 1919 and 1938, the municipality developed a comprehensive project of approximately one hundred buildings. The thesis identifies relations and balanced proportions between a formal analysis of the individual stages of development and a study of their broader historical context. The method of art-historical analysis is applied, whereby the projects are chronologically classified and their urban, typological and chronological aspects are assayed and assessed. The thesis also focuses on the identity of the author, the architect of German origin Franz J. Arnold. The architecture of the Ústí municipal housing complex was designed as a concretization of the social democratic political programme and of the state housing policy, it carries therefore a contents of political significance. The solved area with an area of approximately 4.2 hectares is the eastern part of the statutory city of Brno. It is located in the city of Brno Líšeň on the border of a row of village character with a small scale (old Líšeň) and loose construction of point, board and typified high-rise houses from the 20th century (new Líšeň). The aim of the project is to find a dialogue between the loose structure of the new Líšeň and the town-building structure of the old one. With its masses it creates clearly defined streets and spaces. At the same time, there is an effort to loosen the mass and to integrate it into the near nature with its form. The idea design is based on the principle of cohousing (community housing), which is designed for living in family houses and apartment buildings. The main idea of the project is to respond to today's individualized and automated time, when construction has ceased to focus on the formation of shared spaces = interpersonal relationships, it increasing anonymity and isolation. Basic social interactions, mutually beneficial relations between neighbors are disappearing. It is also a response to the disintegration of the traditional family and can replace family background. In the architectural form it also solves the issue of uniformity, the loss of human scale in modern construction. The emphasis in the project is on the diversity of types of apartments and on a diverse range of public, semi-public, semi-private and private spaces.
