O objetivo desse trabalho é investigar o processo que culminou na padronização espacial de edifícios de apartamentos. O recorte cronológico da pesquisa se estende entre os anos 1910 e 1980 e se reporta a cidade de São Paulo. Em seus empreendimentos, os incorporadores imobiliários da cidade utilizaram vagamente idéias difundidas pela Arquitetura Moderna, vulgarizando alguns de seus conceitos. O resultado são projetos com edifícios-tipo e pavimentos-tipo, que ignoram aspectos fundamentais, como a sua localização e as formas de implantação, o público consumidor e suas necessidades espaciais e sociais, etc. Sua concepção, portanto, visou atender mais aos interesses de quem as produz e vende do que aos daqueles que iriam habitá-Ias. A pesquisa se apoiou em dois grandes temas para o estudo dos edifícios: as formas de atuação da incorporação imobiliária e o projeto arquitetônico resultante. / The aim of this study is to investigate the process that culminated in the spatial standardization of apartment buildings. The research considers the period between the years 1910 and 1980 and refers to the city of São Paulo. In their projects, city\'s real estate developers have vaguely used ideas disseminated by Modern Architecture, banalizing some of its concepts. The result are designs with typified buildings and floar plans, that ignore fundamental aspects such as its location and form of deployment, consumers and their spatial and social needs etc. Their conception, therefore, attends to the benefits of producers and sellers rather than those of dwellers. The research had two main themes as support for the study of the building: the forms of action in real estate market and the resultant architectural design.

Investiga a arquitetura, o programa e a implantação, de modo a compreender as tendências recentes que norteiam os projetos arquitetônicos dos edifícios estudados. Tais como: a criação de localizações orientadas por eixos de verticalização definidos pelo potencial de atração dos equipamentos próximos e pela legislação urbana; o aumento da oferta de espaços comuns, principalmente os destinados ao lazer, que suprem a redução do tamanho das unidades habitacionais, entre outras. Pretende-se com esta pesquisa contribuir para o entendimento da conformação e evolução recente dessa modalidade habitacional, assim como compreender a história da cidade de Uberaba. / Based on analysis of vertical condominiums built in Uberaba between the years 2000 and 2010. This research deals with the transformations and changes that have recently occurred in the way of life and living spaces. Investigates the architecture, the program and the implementation, in order to understand recent trends that guide the architectural designs of the buildings studied. The intention of this research contribute to the understanding of conformation and recent evolution of this housing type, as well as understand the history of the city of Uberaba.

In view of Service Apartment is a new growth industry, we attempt to conduct a case study in a standard class Service Apartment in Hong Kong to identify the importance of CRM to the Service Apartment industry and evaluate the performance of CRM application from operator's and user's view point and hence to identify the potential improvement on the application.

I Sverige just nu undandras en stor mängd hyresrätter från den öppna marknaden och erbjuds sedan av mellanhänder som en ny uthyrningsform till högre hyra. Då en högre hyra kan uttas finns det goda incitament för fastighetsägaren att hyra ut till dessa mellanhänder. Förlorarna i slutändan är alla människor som försöker skaffa ett boende i en sedvanlig hyresrätt. I en ännu opublicerad rapport från Hyresgästföreningen region Stockholm presenteras omfattningen av problemet. Som ett resultat av den bostadsbrist som råder i Sverige har nya uthyrningsformer dykt upp. En av dessa uthyrningsformer är företagslägenheter som ska vara ett rymligare och mer prisvärt alternativ till hotell för anställda som behöver boende på annan ort. Detta vållar problem då denna uthyrningsform står mellan ett traditionellt boende i hyresrätt och hotellverksamhet. Läser man jordabalken ordagrant framstår det som att uthyrning av hotellrum ska omfattas av dess tillämpningsområde. Men genom en hovrättsdom från 1983 har hotell kommit att undantas från jordabalkens tillämpningsområde.

Our large-scale post-war estates have historically often been subject to paradigms of obsolescence or change from, rather than caring attitudes and transformative processes seeking to enable change with. This thesis is essentially a typological exploration, seeking to address the matters of Studio RE – permanence, change, and resilience – in relation to the urban dimension of ‘the big plan’. Setting out to re-introduce 176 apartments, demolished in the mid-nineties, the ambition is to engage with the urban conditions of the chosen site: Hammarkullen, in outer Gothenburg. The proposed building (of buildings) draws on strategies found in a selection of European references, aiming for an addition that accepts (stubborn) decisions made before, but attempts to negotiate them in a non-radical manner.

3. Unitary Urbanism - avoiding the sharp distinctions between workplace, residential housing and leisure, the building aims to integrate all aspects of human endeavor. The building should reflect all aspects of the city, hence being a condensed image of the city. The building contains shops, cafes, restaurants, apartments and movie theatres.
