Analisar-se-ão também todas as passagens que envolvam religião, magia e canto, levando em conta os contextos que circundam cada uma das situações, de maneira a compreender como esses elementos se relacionam na Argonáutica. Pretende-se, ainda, realizar a análise e tradução, acompanhadas das notas e comentários, de cada uma das passagens onde o personagem Orfeu aparece na Argonáutica, que irão compor uma antologia de Orfeu dentro do poema. O levantamento e a análise de todas essas passagens, mais a investigação das ocorrências de certas estruturas-chave e a análise do vocabulário relacionado ao personagem Orfeu, permitirão aprofundar o exame de sua participação na organização da Argonáutica, tendo sempre por base os contextos que envolvam religião, magia e música e poesia / This work investigates the significative aspects of the character Orpheus in the Argonautica of Apollonius Rhodius, verifying three main characteristics of his composition: (i) the function of Orpheus as a religious leader on the expedition, (ii) the role of Orpheus as a magic figure in the poem and (iii) his role as an aoidos and alter ego of the narrator himself, considering how these characteristics of this character are related in themselves to his construction. All the passages that involve religion, magic and singing will be analyzed taking in account the contexts that sorround each one of the situations, as a way to comprehend how this elements are related in the Argonautica. It is also intended to translate and analyze each one of the passages where the character Orpheus is present in Argonautica, with the proper notes and commentary to it, establishing an antology of Orpheus in the poem. The selection and analisis of all these sections, plus the investigation of the ocurrence of certain key structures and the analyzes of the vocabulary related to the character Orpheus, will allow to make the examination deeper of his involvement on the organization of the Argonautica, always based on the contexts that cover religion, magic, music and poetry

A análise parte da observação de C. Beye (Epic and Romance in Argonautica of Apollonius, 1982), que vê Jasão como um novo perfil de herói, próximo a um anti-herói, mais afeito ao gosto do Período Helenístico e Héracles como paradigma do herói da épica homérica visto pelos olhos da crítica e poética do Período Helenístico - principalmente do ponto de vista estético do poeta Calímaco, tido como mentor de Apolônio. Serão analisadas, então, as características desses heróis que serviriam a essa análise, como representações figurativas de cada um e metáforas da evolução natural das estruturas narrativas. Apolônio faria, portanto, além de literatura, uma crítica, análise e releitura do próprio épico nos moldes das narrativas helenísticas a ele contemporâneas. / The intent is to raise points of the work Argonautica (Ἀργοναυτικά), of Apollonius Rhodius that can show the characterization of the characters Jason and Heracles, in opposition. The analysis comes from the notice of C. Beye (Epic and Romance in Argonautica of Apollonius, 1982), that sees Jason as a new outline of hero, near to an anti-hero, more wont to the taste of the Hellenistic Period and Heracles as a paradigm of the hero of the Homeric epics seen through the eyes of the critics and poetics of the Hellenistic Period – mainly through the aesthetic point of view of the poet Callimachus, taken as the mentor of Apollonius. It will be analyzed, then, the characteristics of these heroes that had served to this analysis, as figurative representations of each one and as metaphors of the natural evolution of the narrative structures. Apollonius would do, therefore, besides literature, criticism and analysis and re-reading of the epic itself in the form of the Hellenistic narratives contemporary to him.
