Para tanto, buscamos analisar os prefácios das obras selecionadas com a finalidade de identificar esses critérios de inclusão; identificar os verbetes com marcas de uso Brasileirismo nas três primeiras páginas das letras A, B, C e D, das duas edições do dicionário; analisar um recorte dos verbetes distribuídos em unidades lexicais marcadas por Brasileirismo, observando uso geral e local; fazer análise comparativa entre as duas edições do Dicionário Aurélio (2ª e 5ª edições); fazer comparação entre o Dicionário Aurélio (5ª ed.) e o Dicionário Houaiss da Língua Portuguesa (1ª ed. 2009), utilizando o mesmo critério de análise do Aurélio (nas três primeiras páginas das letras A, B, C e D); com a finalidade de comparar os resultados em relação aos regionalismos; e por fim comparar o Dicionário Aurélio (5ª ed.) e o dicionário de regionalismo Dicionário Gaúcho (5ª ed. 2013). Como embasamento teórico recorremos a conceitos da lexicografia, lexicologia, sociolinguística, acrescidos de estudos voltados para a área do regionalismo. As análises dos dados demonstraram que não há critérios explícitos de inclusão dos regionalismos no Dicionário Aurélio e que os registros de regionalismos na obra privilegiam as regiões Sul e Nordeste em detrimento das outras regiões, chegando até à exclusão de algumas regiões como é o caso do Norte e Sudeste, na 5ª edição. Diante disso, constatou-se uma grande lacuna em relação ao que se considera o português do Brasil representado com as marcas de uso dos regionalismos nesta obra lexicográfica. / This work is guided on the assumptions of lexicography and objectively investigate the regionalisms use of trademarks in the Dictionary Aurélio Buarque de Holanda Ferreira 2nd edition, 1986, 5th edition, 2010, in order to see whether there is representation from all regions of Brazil through the records of regional words in that work, and what criteria were used for the inclusion of these lexias in the dictionary. To this end, we analyze the prefaces of the works selected for the purpose of identifying these inclusion criteria; identify the entries with brands Brazilianism use the first three pages of the letters A, B, C and D, the two editions of the dictionary; analyze a crop of entries divided into lexical units marked by Brazilianism, watching general use and location; make comparative analysis between the two editions of the Aurélio Dictionary (2nd and 5th editions); making comparison between Aurélio Dictionary (5th ed.) and the Concise Oxford Dictionary of the English Language (2009 1st ed.), using the same analysis criteria Aurélio (the first three pages of the letters A, B, C and D); for what purpose of comparing the results with respect to regionalism; and finally compare the Aurélio Dictionary (5th ed.) and regionalism dictionary Gaucho Dictionary (5th ed. 2013). As a theoretical basis, we use the concepts of lexicography, lexicology, sociolinguistics, plus studies focused on the area of regionalism. Data analysis showed that there is no explicit criteria for inclusion of regionalism in the dictionary Aurélio and regionalisms records in the work favor the South and Northeast regions to the detriment of other regions, reaching the exclusion of some regions such as the North case and Southeast, in the 5th edition. Thus, there was a big gap in relation to what is considered the Portuguese of Brazil represented with the use of trademarks of regionalisms this lexicographical work.

O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o aporte de línguas africanas no português do Brasil através da análise dos africanismos lexicais encontrados em uma obra literária moderna. A obra que está sendo analisada é O sumiço da Santa de Jorge Amado (1988). Identificam-se as palavras de origem africana na obra e verifica-se se as mesmas palavras e expressões podem ser encontradas em duas edições do dicionário Aurélio. Uma das edições é de 1986, ou seja, dois anos antes da publicação do livro em questão, enquanto a outra é de 2008. Os resultados mostram que os dicionários citam obras de Jorge Amado para ilustrar o uso de algumas das palavras e que, em termos gerais, a edição mais recente inclui algumas palavras mais que a mais antiga, mas que incorpora informações mais específicas sobre o léxico de origem africana no que diz respeito à sua origem e âmbitos de uso ou campos semânticos. / The aim of this study is to analyze the contribution of African languages in Brazilian Portuguese by analyzing the lexical Africanisms found in a modern literary work. The book that is being analyzed is The War of the Saints by Jorge Amado (1988). The words of African origin are identified and then these words and expressions are searched for in two editions of the Aurélio, a common Brazilian dictionary. One of the issues of this dictionary is from 1986, i.e. two years before the publication of the book in question, while the other is from 2008. The results show that the dictionaries cite the works of Jorge Amado to illustrate the use of some of the words and, in general terms, the most recent edition includes a few words more than the oldest, but it incorporates more specific information about the lexicon of African origin with respect to its origin, scope of use and semantic domains. / Syftet med följande uppsats är att analysera ord med ursprung i afrikanska språk vilka går att återfinna i portugisiskan som talas i Brasilien, utifrån en analys av orden av afrikanskt ursprung återfunna i ett modernt litterärt verk. Det litterära verk som kommer att analyseras är O sumiço da Santa av Jorge Amado (1988). Orden med ursprung i afrikanska språk identifieras i verket, för att därefter sökas efter i två upplagor av den brasilianska ordboken Aurélio. Den ena upplagan är från 1986, det vill säga två år innan den vidare analyserade boken publicerades, och den andra upplagan är från 2008. Resultaten påvisar att ordböckerna citerar Jorge Amados litterära verk i beskrivingen av somliga ord med ursprung i afrikanska språk. Generellt påvisar resultaten även att den nyare upplagan av ordboken innehåller några fler ord med ursprung i afrikanska språk jämfört med den äldre upplagan, samt att den nyare upplagan redovisar tydligare information gällande lexikonet som härstammar från afrikanska språk gällande ordets ursprung, betydelse samt inom vilket användningsområde eller kontext ordet används.

Um estudo historiográfico das Historiae abbreuiatae de Aurélio Vítor. Nisto consiste o presente trabalho, que procura determinar de que modo o referido historiador, no ocaso do reinado de Constâncio II, compôs uma narrativa dedicada à história do Império romano em sua totalidade. Para tanto, em primeiro lugar buscamos definir a natureza da obra. Em que pese os nítidos elementos biográficos que a integram, assim como a brevidade do texto, a obra de Aurélio Vítor deve ser pensada enquanto uma história, na medida em que o objetivo do autor se voltava para a exposição das causas que teriam condicionado o curso dos acontecimentos, da batalha de Ácio até o penúltimo ano do governo de Constâncio II. Desta forma, em um segundo momento, analisamos as estratégias de periodização e as concepções que Aurélio Vítor adotou a fim de contemplar a história imperial. As ações e o caráter moral dos sucessivos imperadores emergem nas Historiae abbreuiatae como o motor a partir do qual se movimentava a história da era imperial romana. Isto implicava, pois, o reconhecimento das oscilações que o mundo romano teria vivenciado ao longo de quase quatro séculos e as contradições que animavam a conduta das personagens históricas. Do que resultava, igualmente, na impossibilidade de se identificar um modelo ideal de imperador, em razão dos fatores e das circunstâncias distintas que marcariam o desenrolar da história do Império romano, como narrada por Aurélio Vítor. / A historiographical study of Aurelius Victors Historiae abbreuiatae. That is what defines the present work, which tries to ascertain how the aforementioned historian settled up a narrative about the history of the Roman Empire in the twilight of the reign of Constantius II. Therefore, we discuss at first the nature of the work. Despite the clear biographical trend we can observe in the text, as well as the brevity that characterizes it, the work of Aurelius Victor should be seen as a historical narrative since the author aimed to expose both the causes and the course of Roman imperial history, from the Battle of Actium to the last but one year of Constantius IIs reign. Thereupon we examine the strategies of periodization and the perspectives defined by Aurelius Victor in order to compose his text. In the Historiae abbreuiatae, the conduct showed by the emperors and their moral character represented the driving force of the narrative. That led the author to emphasize the ups and downs of Roman past in almost four hundred years of history. In this sense, Aurelius Victor did not lose track of some contradictions that encourage historical figures into action. That resulted in Aurelius Victors failure to identify an idealized model of Roman emperor due to distinct elements and circunstances that he himself pointed out in the course of the history of the Roman Empire.
