Design av dörr till kaffeautomat : Designing a door to a coffee vending machine

Holmgren, Robin, Bogren, Mikael January 2007 (has links)
<p>This report was written as a result of a Bachelor Degree Project at the School of Technology and Society at University of Skövde spring 2007, together with Jede AB in Mariestad. The report covers the development of a door to a coffee vending machine that is under construction, and will in a chronological order describe the project from ideas to final product.</p><p>The project started with a rather extensive feasibility study that thru market research and user tests sorted out the opinions of potential customers, concerning today’s available assortment. Technical areas concerning materials and manufacturing methods were also scrutinized for the consideration of the possibilities of a future production.</p><p>The next step was to constructively generate ideas and thoughts that later on could grow to be potential solutions. After several weeks of hard work and pieces of good advice and recommendations from the assigner, four comprehensive concepts were built up. After a deliberation, the project group at Jede determined to proceed with one of the concepts.</p><p>This concept was modeled in the CAD program Pro Engineer, and was later on used to produce a full-scale model of the door. After having evaluated the prototype and making the door compatible with the components that were to be used, a satisfying result approached.</p><p>When the project was brought to its end, all material was handed over to the assigner, including a computer model that will be used to manufacture moulding forms. If everything goes as planned, the coffee vending machine will be available on the market during the beginning of 2008.</p><p>To sum up the project a discussion concerning the assignment and all its matters will be brought up in the end of this report.</p> / <p>Denna rapport har skrivits i samband med ett examensarbete i integrerad produktutveckling på designingenjörsprogrammet vid Högskolan i Skövde våren 2007, i samarbete med Jede AB i Mariestad.

PROVAZNÍKOVÁ, Iveta January 2014 (has links)
The aim of this diploma thesis was to obtain basic information about the milking process and than formulate findings about the behavior of dairy cows during milking and after 30 minutes after milking. There were compared data obtained during the milking in the milking parlor with a robot and in conventional milking parlor. Ethological observation was conducted for 24 hours and was focused on all milked cows during three different seasons at two different farms. During the monitoring there were conducted observations on 862 pieces 478 pieces on the farm with a milking robot and 384 pieces on the farm with a herringbone milking parlor. The data collection took place during the observation of the Holstein cattle and was focused in three areas of animal behavior. There was compared the need for feed intake, drinking and lying down of cows 30 minutes after they leaved the milking equipment. Obtained results were evaluated by means of two programs Microsoft Excel and Statistics 9.

Les automates cellulaires en tant que modèle de complexités parallèles / Cellular automata as a model of parallel complexities

Meunier, Pierre-Etienne 26 October 2012 (has links)
The intended goal of this manuscript is to build bridges between two definitions of complexity. One of them, called the algorithmic complexity is well-known to any computer scientist as the difficulty of performing some task such as sorting or optimizing the outcome of some system. The other one, etymologically closer from the word "complexity" is about what happens when many parts of a system are interacting together. Just as cells in a living body, producers and consumers in some non-planned economies or mathematicians exchanging ideas to prove theorems. On the algorithmic side, the main objects that we are going to use are two models of computations, one called communication protocols, and the other one circuits. Communication protocols are found everywhere in our world, they are the basic stone of almost any human collaboration and achievement. The definition we are going to use of communication reflects exactly this idea of collaboration. Our other model, circuits, are basically combinations of logical gates put together with electrical wires carrying binary values, They are ubiquitous in our everyday life, they are how computers compute, how cell phones make calls, yet the most basic questions about them remain widely open, how to build the most efficient circuits computing a given function, How to prove that some function does not have a circuit of a given size, For all but the most basic computations, the question of whether they can be computed by a very small circuit is still open. On the other hand, our main object of study, cellular automata, is a prototype of our second definition of complexity. What "does" a cellular automaton is exactly this definition, making simple agents evolve with interaction with a small neighborhood. The theory of cellular automata is related to other fields of mathematics such as dynamical systems, symbolic dynamics, and topology. Several uses of cellular automata have been suggested, ranging from the simple application of them as a model of other biological or physical phenomena, to the more general study in the theory of computation. / The intended goal of this manuscript is to build bridges between two definitions of complexity. / A novel application of cellular automata for the evaluation and modelling of mineral resources.

Antonio Carlos da Costa Martins 26 November 2012 (has links)
This research project proposes a new approach for modeling geological resources using cellular automata. In general, cellular automata allow modeling systems taking into account parameters of shape, dimensions, evolution rules, neighboring rules and initial state of the cells. For the application of cellular automata in this project, a new tool has been developed in conjunction with the Software Development Group of the Department of Electronics of University of São Paulo. The modeling tool has been applied to model a popular dataset in mining which is the Waker Lake dataset (Isaaks e Srivastava,1989). The results showed that the approach has potential for ACs to the area of modeling of mineral resources and indicated the importance of defining an interpolation method most appropriate for evolutionary change of ACs for the dataset studied.

Náklady a výnosy regulace hracích automatů pro obce / The costs and benefits of slot machines regulation for municipalities.

Kaisner, Jakub January 2014 (has links)
Gambling is a complicated topic not only because of its addictive features but it requires knowledge of medical, social and economic field. The current public discussion about new gambling law is moreover disturbed by false arguments and manipulations coming from activists. In the first part of this thesis I focused on paper (PCP, 2014): Socio-economic costs of gambling in Czech Republic, which is considered to be a cornerstone of new gambling law. I reviewed its way of data transfering and its presumptions and found out that the original amount of the costs were overvalued by 120 %. I also analysed the impacts of proposed measures, which have been prepared by the Treasury, the main regulator of gambling market. Measures are presented as harm reducing, but they will subvert the industry instead. In the third section I consider the threats and costs of electronic gaming machines prohibition, which had been introduced in some municipalities. The data analysis as well as field research did not validate the positive effects of EGM ban presented by anti-gambling activists. In final chapter I'm following less common approach to gambling not as a threat but as an opportunity and trying to evaluate the potential of gamblers from Germany and Austria, who are the frequent visitors of casinos at the czech side of the borders.

Kalibrace vysokorychlostní mikrosimulace dopravy / Calibration of the high-speed traffic microsimulation

Korček, Pavol Unknown Date (has links)
