Submitted diploma theses engaged the topic solvency and bancruptcy models and its objektive is to analyze financial situation of four agricultural companies and for companies of the energy suppliers. Theoretical part brings an outline of commonly used solvency and bancruptcy models and newly published models. Theoretical part stems from original authors. Practical part brings an application of chosen models on companies and examines their ability of rating the companies. Based on results is evaluated the financial situation of companies in time. The end of thesis brings the evaluation of the model´s appropriateness for application on given sectors and submits recommendtions for using these models.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to introduce suitable instruments for measuring the market position of the company based on multi-criteria decision-making. To introduce regular rankings of companies in professional journals and on the Internet. The main aim was to make comparison of five companies in the Czech Republic and build their resulting ranking based on financial and non-financial indicators. Selected companies have the same subject of business, form and size. For comparison there was set a model which included four financial and two non-financial indicators. Financial indicators have been selected from the area of profitability, liquidity, aktivity and indebtedness. Afterwards, the market positions of companies were calculated by mathematical-static method. The financial situation was identified also by profit and bankruptcy models.

Diplomová práce hodnotí finanční výkonnost společnosti Pivovary Staropramen,a.s. v letech 2002 až 2005. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány metody finanční analýzy, které jsou použity v praktické části samotného hodnocení společnosti. Obsahem praktické části je seznámení se společností, strategická analýza, analýza abslutních ukazatelů, analýza rozdílových ukazatelů analýzou poměrových ukazatelů. V práci jsou dále vypočteny bonitní a bankrotní modely, systém ukazatelů Du Pont, rozklad INFA, EVA, produkční síly, ekonomický normál, ekonomická přidaná hodnota, bilanční pravidla, mezipodnikové srovnání.

The first part includes model construction via neural networks. The model is consecu-tively compared to Z-score and index IN05. Based on the results of the comparison, factors that could highly increase bankruptcy risks will be identified.

This Diploma thesis deals with problematics of new enterprises and factors, which are critical for them and for their success or failure in their early years of entrepreneurship (5 years). The main aim of this diploma thesis is to identify these factors and suggest recommendation, which will lead to better ability of surviving and increases their probability of surviving. For research in this thesis will be used data of the small and medium sized companies (100). These data are collect randomly within electrical and electronic engineering industry. Needed companies were founded in websites ebd.cz and merk.cz. Basic data were gained from basic financial statements of companies, which their posted on website justice.cz. These financial statements are balance sheet and Profit and Loss statement. The data were processed using software power BI, which is using in business intelligence. The second aim of this diploma thesis is also to verify selected bankruptcy and solvency models on chosen data.

This diploma thesis deals with insolvency proceedings, respectively one of the methods of solving insolvency, ie bankruptcy. The thesis is based on valid legal regulation, ie Act No. 182/2006 Coll., on bankruptcy and methods of its solution (insolvency law), comments on gradual amendments to the insolvency law and analyzes the changes brought about by the last amendment of 2017. The practical part deals with the process of bankruptcy in practice and seeks to analyze financial statements using financial models to predict the approaching bankruptcy of the company or whether it is possible to derive recommendations for falling companies based on the findings.
