This thesis is dealing with factors influencing the financial situation of OP papírna, s.r.o., from 2009 to 2014. The target of this work is to state financial analysis, and based on the values of the indicators, assess the situation and determine the main factors that influenced the development of the financial situation of the company in the years mentioned above. The decisive influence has the target product markets that are affected by the situation on product markets for final consumers (books, medicaments, cigarettes, booklets). An important role is also played by markets with input raw materials, transport and energy that create a cost structure as a part of most indicators evaluating business success of the company. A specific factor is the local labor market, availability of manpower, the price and the quality of education. An intermediate active influence is the legislation (energy regulation, smoking, LIP), ownership structure (dividend policy), the money markets situation and fiscal policy not only in the Czech Republic. Pursuant to the interim analysis, the risks arising from the factors can be successfully managed. Hedging transactions, diversification, transferring risk to other contracting parties, insurance and common sense are the proven tools.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate individual approaches to performance measurement connected to historical development with emphasis on Value Management and Corporate Performance Management (CPM). Last but not least, it is necessary to analyse the performance of the company, including proposing measures for its growth. The practical part evaluates individual performance indicators and points to software tools supporting CPM in the enterprise.

The aim of this master´s thesis is to verify the usability of credibility and bankruptcy models for predicting the bankruptcy of the company and evaluate the financial situation of the company after the reorganization in the conditions of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of this thesis contains of descriptions corporate crisis and its causes, consequences and individual phases. Next in this part are described models and their method of calculation. In the practical part are presented selected companies on which are applied the models. The companies´ situation has been evaluated several years before and after the declaring bankruptcy and then has been evaluated the ability of the credibility and bankruptcy models to predict the companies´ problems ahead of time. At the end of this thesis are summarized the results from evaluating of these companies by prediction models, the influence of input data on results and the recommendations to include the models in financial management of the company.

Financial analysis company ABC PLAST, a. s.

The thesis contains characteristic of the chosen company and its financial analysis. The analysis is divided into horizontal and vertical analysis, the analysis with the aid of racio indicators and system of ratio indicators and evaluation of the company with some specialized models of financial analysis.

Diplomová práce hodnotí finanční výkonnost společnosti Plzeňský Prazdroj,a.s. v letech 2002 až 2006. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány metody finanční analýzy, které jsou použity v praktické části samotného hodnocení společnosti. V praktické části se seznámíme se společností samotnou, analýzou abslutních ukazatelů, analýzou rozdílových ukazatelů a analýzou poměrových ukazatelů. V práci jsou dále vypočteny bonitní a bankrotní modely pro společnost Plzeňský Prazdroj,a.s., systém ukazatelů Du Pont, ekonomický normál, ekonomická přidaná hodnota a model INFA. V závěru práce se nachází mezipodnikové srovnání s nejvýznamějšími konkurenty.

Subject of the final thesis is financial analysis of TopolWater, s.r.o. Thesis is divided onto theoretical and practical part. There are applied banruptcy models and model which review health of partiular company.

I prepared a diploma thesis on the topic of financial analysis of Subterra company. In the theoretical part, I focused on its substance, data sources, users and methods of financial analysis. In the practical part I have prepared an external financial analysis of Subterra company, in the years 2004 - 2008.

The goal of my disertation is to evaluate financial situation of a cooperative KARKO during 1.1.2004-30.11.2009 through the use of financial indicators and predictor models.

The aim of my dissertation is examination a general financial situation of the company with classic structure more focused on aplication of creditworthy and bankruptcy models. In the end of my thesis is examinating the company in times of financial crisis.
