The theme of this thesis is the financial analysis utilization for selected company´s economic results. Its aim is to assess the situation of the selected company with use of indicators of financial analysis during the reporting period of time 2008-2013 and on the basis of these results to formulate recommendations for possible improvements in problematic areas. The introductory part summarizes the theoretical knowledge in the field of financial analysis, defines its characteristics and purpose, sources of information for its processing and describes the methods and tools used by it. In the practical part the selected methods of financial analysis are applied to the selected company. All calculations of the indicators are processed into charts and the development of some of them is supplemented with graphical representation. Based on the resulting values there are conclusions and recommendations designed in order to increase the efficiency of the company.

The main objective of this thesis is to assess the financial health of the selected company to use various methods of financial analysis, which will be chosen on the basis of theoretical knowledge. In the practical part are theoretical solutions applied to specific data from the financial statements of the company and selected results are presented in tabular and graphical form using a spreadsheet. At the end of the thesis the financial situation of the company resulting from specific data is interpreted in context and procedures and measures for its improvement potential weaknesses or exploiting possible opportunities are designed.

The thesis deals with the financial analysis of two leading companies of the energy industry, E.ON Distribution, Inc. and PRE Distribution, Inc. The work is divided into two main parts. The first of these, literature review, discusses the company's performance in terms of financial analysis. In addition it provides basic information about financial analysis, their resources, techniques and methods. The second part, their work is focused on the characteristics of selected companies, as well as the application of knowledge from the literature review to selected companies using financial analysis methods in the years 2011-2015. Financial analysis is based on currently available published financial statements of both companies, mainly from the balance sheet and profit and loss account. On the financial statements of the company is applied to the analysis of absolute indicators, namely vertical and horizontal analysis, differential indicators, which is a typical representative of net working capital, to analyze liquidity, profitability, debt and bankruptcy activities and calculations standing model. At the end thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the company, along with a view of the financial situation in the future.

This thesis focuses on financial analysis of a chosen commercial enterprise and it covers the period from 2006 to 2010. For financial analysis was chosen enterprise ESSA, spol. s r.o. from České Budějovice. I used these groups of indicators for the analysis: vertical and horizontal analysis, profitability, activity, indebtedness, liquidity, bankruptcy model, creditworthy model.

The aim of this thesis was to perform inter-company comparison by using different tools for a set of five construction companies. For comparison were selected five joint stock companies, which are in terms of market share, the largest. To the resulting comparison has been used inter-comparison methods, bankruptcy and credibility models and it was created credit rating companies AGR (Aspect Global Rating). Based on the chosen methodology, we compare the companies among themselves in terms of their economic situation.

The aim of this master thesis is to compare selected statements prepared in accordance with IAS / IFRS with statments prepared in accordance with CAS and to analyze the impact of different reporting on the financial analysis of two selected companies. The theoretical part draws on specialized literature, defines IAS / IFRS reporting and CAS reporting, and describes the basic concepts, methods and procedures for financial analysis. In the practical part are presented selected enterprises, which are applied the knowledge from the theoretical part for the period 2012 - 2016. In conclusion, it is made the assessment of the objectives.

The objective of the dissertation is confrontation of influence of different methodics on the financial health of a company on ranking of a company. Selected models of financial health classify the file of 149 agricultural companies. Particular task is to determine 5 agricultural companies with the best indicator of financial health and 5 companies with the worst indicator. At this chosen file of five best and five worst companies is subsequently evaluated rate of weighted factors on the overall value of financial health. At the same time the influence of one and two indicators on the overall financial health of a company is analysed. Ascertained results are processed/compiled in the form of charts and are verbally commented.

The thesis deals with complex evaluation of the company by using methods of financial analysis and with interfim comparison. From methods of financial analysis were used horizontal and vertical analysis, analysis of working capital, balance rules, ratio indicators, creditworthy and bankruptcy models, EVA and further methods.

The graduation thesis deals with known creditworthy and bankruptcy models originated in Czech republic and abroad and also with two non-financial models. The methods are first described in a theoretical part with the aim of understanding their principles, advantages and disadvantages. In a practical part the methods are applied on a machinery company which was seriously affected by global economic crisis. The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the development through years of the company's general financial health, reveal strong and weak points of the firm and compare results of the methods.

This thesis concentrates on The Financial Analysis of Company XYZ. The thesis can be divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is conncened with usually used financial analysis methods. Practical part focuses on the practical use of the methods on the company XYZ between years 2004 and 2009.
